Facing an admin hiccup when I showed for my appointment with Taylor, only to find she wasn’t in that location that day, the staff was very helpful and spent lots of time trying to resolve my sense of inconvenience. Preparing to be one of those nasty, PO’d clients, I was delighted when Dr Maragh stepped in to personally do my fill appointment!! I quickly regrouped and, appropriately abashed, enjoyed the top of the line treatment I’d come to appreciate at Maragh. Thank you staff and doc for your outstanding professionalism and..patience:)!

I recently had a total-body skin exam at Maragh Dermatology in Ashburn, VA with Francisca Nwosu, PA-C, and I walked out feeling like I had just received one of the most thorough and complete skin exams I've ever had. Francisca is kind and gentle, and her expertise is evident from the moment she begins the exam. What impressed me most was that she was completely present. She took her time, was fully engaged from beginning to end, and you could tell she genuinely cared. It made all the difference. I can't imagine a better person to trust with my skin exams.

Dr. Taylor Rehfuss was incredible during a mole removal. She explained the entire procedure before hand and answered all my questions. Ana and Noor were extremely helpful and gentle with before and aftercare of the procedure. I was a bit nervous upon arrival but these ladies did a great job and making me feel heard and well taken care of. Thankful for them!

I'm glad I found this dermatologist. I found one closer to where I live but they had no immediate openings, so I came here. The lady who took my call was friendly and helpful and they had an opening the same day I called. I'm deaf and was pleasantly surprised that they set up a video ASL interpreter for me. That was impressive because most "medical" places have no clue how to deal with deaf patients, so evidently, someone there knew what to do. I showed the work that needed to be done, the dermatologist came in, did the work, and I was out the door. This review is for the Ashburn, Virginia, office and I highly recommend them.

Maragh has been the most consistently disorganized and frustrating medical experience I have ever had. I’ve had about five appointments undergoing a treatment, and there have been four MAJOR mistakes. First, I was prescribed a dosage way above what other doctors recommend, which made me pass out and gave me scarring all over my body that I am still dealing with. At the appointment after next, they recommend the same high dosage that gave me all the scaring and terrible symptoms—evidence of blind recommendations and not looking at previous appointment notes. Second, I have to pick up the prescription within a certain window, but they did not call me back until the last minute on the last day to fill the prescription; they were out of it at my local pharmacy, so I had to drive over an hour to another pharmacy that had it in stock, or I had to wait another month to get it. Third, they did not effectively communicate that there was a change in the blood work schedule, so after driving a total of five hours to get to the appointment (since the appointment had to be in-person), that appointment was wasted along with the money for the regularly scheduled bloodwork, and worst of all, there was no apology. There were more mistakes along the way, but the last point I’ll mention is a difference in treatment cost of $500 more per session for a cosmetic treatment I had inquired about at Maragh than at another local dermatologist. At best, this has been completely ineffective communication, fragmented treatment delivery, and a colossal waste of my time and money.
