Seoul Prime has one of those atmospheres that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm lighting, modern Korean-inspired décor, and an upscale yet welcoming vibe that feels perfect for anything from a date night to catching up with friends. The space strikes a beautiful balance between elegance and comfort—stylish without feeling intimidating. Our server/bartender Megan was fantastic, friendly and attentive. She was very effective in juggling between bartending and taking other customers' orders. We had the happy hour drinks of the haeundae peach (sojou cocktail). For dinner we had the all you can eat steak frites and pork and beef bulgogi steak fries. The beef was better than the pork could have used a little more meat, but it was still delicious. Overall experience 9.5 out of 10. The energy throughout the restaurant is lively but never overwhelming, making conversations easy while still feeling vibrant. It's the kind of place where the ambiance becomes part of the dining experience, creating a cozy, memorable setting that makes you want to come back again. The ONLY things i would say that could be improved. Is more seasoning on the steak as well as the speed of service. When it comes to the timing of food coming out.

I’d go a 4.5/5 Stars⭐️ First time and took my girlfriend to try the AYCE Steak Frites. The Bulgogi fries were AMAZING & RICH. The Spicy Pork Fries were also good but the Bulgogi are another notch up! The steak was GREAT & very filling. Megan was very great & good to talk to at the bar with us and other customers. The only two things for me: – The speed of getting the steaks felt very slow and then the seasoning on the hangar. – The steak come with sauces to try and that helps but the steak by itself is very bland I’ll definitely try the main dining experience next time I come

Tonight was our first time dining here, and what an incredible experience from start to finish! Alberto, our bartender, was fantastic. He brought our drinks and was incredibly knowledgeable about the flights, helping us find the perfect pairings. Andrew, the steak connoisseur, provided an outstanding recommendation that absolutely exceeded our expectations. Michelle took exceptional care of us throughout the evening and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday truly special and memorable. I mean look how cute the heart is that she made for us. Marcus was attentive and professional, ensuring our sparkling and still water were always filled and helping keep our table cleared and comfortable throughout the meal. The food was outstanding, but it was the exceptional service from the entire team that made this experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit!

Had such an amazing experience at Seoul Prime in Falls Church! We reserved a private room for a birthday dinner and the ambiance was absolutely perfect. It was such an intimate, classy, and fun atmosphere for celebrating with friends and family. The entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment we walked in. Huge shoutout to our server, Yen, who was seriously incredible. She was so sweet, attentive, patient, and accommodating with allergies, which made everyone feel really comfortable and cared for. She checked in on us the perfect amount, made sure everything came out smoothly, and had such a warm and positive energy the whole night. Truly one of the best servers we’ve had anywhere! The food quality was AMAZING. Every cut of meat was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell they care about quality here. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. What really stood out was how much the staff genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. For the level of service, atmosphere, and food you’re getting, the price is honestly so worth it. Perfect spot for birthdays, celebrations, or just a really special dinner night. One more shoutout to my girl Yen for making the night extra special. She absolutely elevated the entire experience. We’ll definitely be back!

First time dining here and it was an excellent experience from start to finish, especially during the winter season in January. The meal began with a beautifully prepared selection of side dishes—fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully balanced. The beef tartar was outstanding, showcasing clean, high-quality beef with great texture and flavor. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, rich and satisfying, and ideal for cold weather. The intestine stew was incredibly comforting—exactly the kind of warming dish you want in winter. The spicy level was just right for us (mild with a slight kick). The food truly felt like great comfort food for the season, paired with a warm, wood-accented environment that made the experience even more inviting. Service was spectacular—friendly, attentive, and professional—with dishes coming out quickly. The staff wore gloves and maintained a very clean dining area, which we really appreciated. The ambience was nicely lit, simple, and cozy. One tip: if you’d like to sit at a table with a grill for BBQ, it’s best to make a reservation in advance. Overall, a delicious and well-run restaurant that we’ll definitely return to.

I am really confused. Came here for restaurant week to try a bit of this and that, but it was a dud in every aspect. We came in as soon as they opened, hoping that there would be no issues or sold out items. I want to preface that we also tried Ingle’s restaurant week, which is the same $65 price. The yookhwae (beef tartare) was icy. (Ingle was so melty and delish) They didn’t have the regular galbi, which is the main item we wanted to try. We got three servings of the seasoned galbi, which was a bit tough when comparing to ingle. The nangmun was definitely premade packaged mix and noodles. The noodles were not cooked all the way (per the picture). Additionally, all throughout the course, many items either were forgotten or delayed. I think each of the servers were not communicating with each other of what needed to be done. The portions were way smaller than ingle and was overall, really disappointing. I want to have faith in the restaurant and may come again later to try again? Perhaps.

We stopped in at The Woo for dinner with friends- there was a short 20 minute wait without a reservation as we opted for the bbq table instead of the dining table. The wait was absolutely worth it. The service was phenomenal and fast, with the manager Sean offering us pajeon on the house due to the wait – they were so generous (the wait was really not long at all so we were surprised!) The food came out so fast once we sat down. Namjoo was our server cooking the food for us, and she was super attentive and polite. The restaurant itself has a beautiful, simple, and clean atmosphere. This was our first time here and we look forward to coming back with friends! We’re so grateful to Sean and his team for the wonderful service. I wish I got more photos for the review but the food was too delicious to wait and take a photo ☺️

Clean and delicious. I had a great experience at The Woo Korean BBQ and cuisine in Fairfax. The restaurant is genuinely clean, not just "restaurant clean" but actually clean, which already puts it ahead of many places. The staff are polite, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The food tastes fresh and well-prepared, like real ingredients cooked properly, which sounds obvious but somehow isn’t everywhere. Overall, a solid spot for Korean BBQ with a comfortable atmosphere and consistently good service.

Had an incredible dining experience at The WOO! The quality of the meat here is top-notch—super fresh with gorgeous marbling that melted in my mouth. Everything from the side dishes (banchan) to the sizzling corn cheese and rich soybean paste stew tasted authentic and delicious. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure our grill was handled perfectly throughout the meal. Easily one of the best K-BBQ spots in VA. Highly recommend!

Honey Pig in Ashburn is one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots and it never disappoints. One of the best things is that I'm usually seated as soon as I arrive without needing a reservation, which makes it an easy choice whenever I'm craving Korean BBQ. I actually prefer this location over the Centreville restaurant. My go-to order is the thin pork belly with the cold spicy buckwheat noodles, and it's always a great combination. The tteokbokki is also delicious. The corn cheese is a little hit or miss depending on the day, but I still order it every visit because it's just that good. This time I decided to try the all-you-can-eat option since I came with a huge appetite, although my usual meal is always more than enough to fill me up. I also noticed they changed the fish cake recipe, and it's a huge improvement, they're so much better now! The food is consistently fresh, the service is quick, and I've always had a great experience here. If you're looking for quality Korean BBQ in the Ashburn area, Honey Pig is definitely worth a visit.

We stopped by Bebop Korean-Mexican for lunch and loved the concept. If you’re craving Korean food but someone else wants Mexican, this is a fun place where everyone can find something they’ll enjoy. Our favorite item was easily the Gogi Burger. It had a delicious Korean-style sweetness that made it stand out, and it was a 10/10 for us. We also really enjoyed the Korean Chicken Sandwich, the Bulgogi Cheesesteak, the Shrimp Sub (I’d personally ask for a little less sauce next time), and the Loaded Fries, which had a nice little kick. We also tried the churros. They were filled with more of a caramel cream than the caramel filling we expected, and they were a bit sweeter than our taste. We also noticed the menu showed a strawberry churro that wasn’t available during our visit. The only items we wouldn’t order again were the veggie burrito and the Mexican chicken burrito. The rice was very plain and a little dry, and both burritos fell apart while eating them, so they ended up more like bowls than burritos. The restaurant is clean, casual, and great for either dining in or grabbing takeout. Overall, we’d definitely come back for the Gogi Burger, Korean Chicken Sandwich, Bulgogi Cheesesteak, and Loaded Fries. Those alone are worth another visit.

Just tried Bebop Korean Mexican Grill and honestly, really impressed. Got the bulgogi cheesesteak-style sub and loaded fries—both were really good. Me and my boyfriend came here for our 1 year anniversary to try out a new halal spot in the area we hadn’t tried before. The very nice owner took our order and he was very approachable and polite. We ordered 2 bowls and loaded fries and the food was brought out fairly quickly. Food was amazing and the bulgogi was awesome. This was our first visit, and we immediately understood why people recommend this place for Korean BBQ. The quality of the meat was excellent, especially the wagyu and prime cuts. If you love good meat, this place will not disappoint. What we appreciated most was how family-friendly the atmosphere felt. The staff were attentive and kind, making the whole dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. We visited with our kids and had a very relaxed meal. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere overall. Our oldest son is usually a picky eater and doesn’t eat much, but he surprised us by eating so much here 😆 That alone says a lot about the quality and flavor of the food. The side dishes and overall meal experience were also very satisfying. If you’re looking for quality Korean BBQ in Fairfax, this is definitely a place worth trying. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more menu items!

An a la carte/combo only kbbq spot, serving quality, premium meats – all very juicy and tender! But, given that this spot is more of an upscale kbbq restaurant, they can also give you a run for your money if you're not careful with how much you order… Although their meats were all delicious, I was a huge fan of their banchan and seafood pancake, which was thin and crispy. Loved to snack on pieces in between cooking meats 🙂 The bulgogi tower was an interesting one… works as a standalone ngl, and also comes with the soup, glass noodles and onion which was pretty neat. For a Friday night and for a large group (9 people) we made a reservation ahead of time, and they were able to accomodate us right away with no wait. Again for a Friday night, it's not too rowdy and not super busy. Service was also very quick! Now, not a spot I would frequent, but would def come here for special occasions!

We ordered a combo meat set for four, which included bulgogi, galbi, and samgyeopsal — but no napa cabbage for wrapping was provided. Ssamjang came out, and there was a vegetable salad, but no ssam leaves at all. For a Korean BBQ spread like this, that's a pretty basic oversight. The galbi was disappointingly tough. We had to chew through it and ended up leaving the overly chewy parts on the side — not a great experience. The server was strictly businesslike and visibly reluctant when we asked for extra side dishes. When we requested sesame oil for dipping the meat, she paused and seemed to think it over before finally bringing it. Doenjang jjigae (fermented soybean paste soup) was limited to one bowl per table, and when we asked if we could get more, we were told no — then informed that an extra bowl would cost $5. Overall, the service felt unwelcoming and the food quality did not match expectations for a Korean BBQ meal of this price point. We left feeling underwhelmed.

My favorite KBBQ spot in Virginia! ChoSun Hwaro offers amazing meat quality and Korean dishes at an amazing price! The service here is stellar, and both the wait staff and the owner were so pleasant to talk to. I came here for dinner one evening and we got their ChoSun combo package with four different meats for 4 people, as well as their bibim naengmyeon, corn cheese, beef tartare, and dolsot bibimbap. Everything was amazing quality and so so delicious. The meats were juicy and well-marinated. The portions were great and the combo came with doenjang jjigae and steamed egg (which were both delicious—I loved how they added cheese to the steamed egg). The corn cheese was the perfect sweetness and the beef tartare was also another favorite. Would love to come back!

I visited KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Sterling, VA and had a great experience overall. The employees were very nice and welcoming, and the décor was modern and inviting. This was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and there was so much to choose from on the menu. Our server kindly offered to cook the meats for us, but my daughter wanted to do the cooking herself, which made it fun and interactive. The meats were well seasoned and flavorful. I initially chose the spicy soup base, but it was a bit too spicy for me, so I switched to the mushroom soup base instead–and I'm glad I did. I added vermicelli, sweet potato, onion, corn, chicken, and bok choy, and it was delicious and comforting. The buffet bar was really nice. I enjoyed being able to make my own dipping sauces based on what I like. They also had fried shrimp on the bar–the shrimp were fried nicely, but they still had the full shell on them. I almost choked on a shell, which was a little concerning and honestly my only complaint so far. The steamed crabs were good, but I think they would be even better if there was a sauce or drawn butter available on the bar. The crawfish and corn were yummy, and the three free juices available at the buffet were a nice touch. Overall, I had a very good experience and will definitely be back.

Great selection of meat and seafood. All were very tasty. They also have buffet bar where you can get more food, side dishes, sauces, and desserts. Lunch price is a bargain but dinner price is pretty good also. You can get meat buffet or Hot Pot or both for $5 more per person which is still a great price.

If you want to get KPOT I recommend going to their Fairfax location instead. Their Korean BBQ and hot pot options are the same, but I wasn't a fan of their banchan, fruit, and dessert bar, and free fruit drinks. I get that its buffet style, but I've definitelt seen other KPOT locations do better… The kimchi and radish did not look fresh at all, coloring looked a bit off too and you can tell it has been sitting there for quite a while. My brother did like the sheet cake they had, but it was way too sweet for me and my husband. Lastly, the fruit teas were basically just syrup and the food coloring in them were crazy vibrant, like the kiwi and melon drinks looked almost like a radioactive green color…

The spacious layout makes it ideal for groups, while attentive servers ensure a smooth grilling process—though grill maintenance can occasionally impact consistency. While the affordable combo options and generous sides enhance value, service quality varies, with some guests praising responsiveness and others noting occasional inattention. Transparency in pricing and professionalism remain key areas for refinement. The 20% gratuity policy for larger parties adds a thoughtful touch, though clarity on menu updates could improve trust. Overall, it delivers a solid Korean BBQ encounter with room for service polish.

The all you can eat variety of different meat choices was incredible! Especially the brisket and the orange bulgogi. Even tried the cheese corn and the steamed egg. The service was really good cause our server always changed the grill for each dish serving of meat that we ordered for the BBQ.

Our server was Aiden, he wasn't pleasant nor attentive. He barely was at the table and had an indifferent personality, seems like he was disinterested whenever serving us. The food was also not the best, it could've been better. Not a big fan of the grill since the middle was slightly slanted higher which caused the meat to slide to the sides. The grill was burnt and was turned up to the highest setting so our meat was burning but again he wasn't there to see if everything was okay. Spending my money here was a waste because the food was average to less but with the horrible service that was given made me even more upset for trying this place when there's better kbbqs in the area.

I had a great time at this restaurant last week. I went for early dinner at 5 pm, and it was pretty quiet at first. But as the evening went on, it got busier. They have two options: All You Can Eat (AYCE) or a package/combo. We decided to go with AYCE. The meat options are pretty pricey, around $155 per person, but we opted for the $38 per person option. It wasn’t too bad, though. I highly recommend the 삼겹살 (pork belly), beef bulgogi, and top blade steak for grilling. The steamed egg and beef radish soup are also really good. Their banchans (complimentary sides) were pretty good, and our server even refilled them at our request. Our server asked if we wanted to cook our own food or if he should prepare it for us. We decided to cook our own food since we’re experienced grillers. He also asked if we wanted to change our grill and if we needed anything else to add to it. The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate a large group or party. By the way, there’s a 20% gratuity for parties of 5 or 6 (I’m not sure if that’s accurate), but you can always add more tips if you felt your server did a great job.

Would not return. Our server, Aiden, who we were told was the head server, was slow and visibly annoyed when we asked for more food. At one point, four shrimp were brought out for our party of four, and when we asked for additional shrimp, he huffed at us. The biggest issue was the bill. The printed menu listed the price as $36 per person, but we were charged $38. When we questioned it, Aiden told us the printed menu had been outdated for over a year and that we should have scanned the QR code instead. He even asked whether we had been there before because, according to him, we should have known the price had changed. We were also charged a mandatory 20% gratuity for a party of four. After the meal price was corrected, the gratuity was still being calculated using the higher amount and had to be corrected as well. None of this would have been nearly as bad if the situation had been handled professionally. Instead, as we were leaving, Aiden called out in front of other customers: "Bye, don’t come back again." That was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. The problem was not the extra few dollars. It was the lack of transparency, the attitude when we questioned the bill, and the disrespectful treatment afterward. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

I’m writing this review mainly for other customers, but I also sincerely hope the owner and management will take my feedback seriously. I have been to this restaurant many times before, although I wouldn’t consider myself a regular customer because it takes me more than 20 minutes to drive here from my home. I hadn’t been here for about one or two months, and I honestly never expected to have an experience like this today. I came with my three children, so there were four of us total. My children are 5, 7, and 10 years old. After we finished eating, I went to pay. I didn’t look closely at the bill before handing my card to the server. However, when I was signing the receipt and getting ready to add a tip, I was shocked to see that a 20% gratuity had already been automatically added to my bill. This really surprised me. Based on my normal dining habits, when a server provides good and respectful service, I usually tip around 30%. So even though the 20% gratuity had already been added, I still added another $13 because I had never experienced this situation at this restaurant before. Before leaving, I stopped at the front desk and asked to speak with a manager because I wanted to understand why this had happened. The explanation I received was that they had recently changed their policy, and that tables with children are automatically charged a gratuity. Then I was also told that a party of four is automatically charged a gratuity. ⚠️ Please be aware of this if you are planning to dine here with four people. Ask about the gratuity policy BEFORE ordering or eating. I also own and operate a Japanese restaurant in Ashburn, Virginia, so I have experience in the restaurant industry myself. I have never heard of a restaurant automatically adding a mandatory gratuity simply because there are four people at the table. I understand that some restaurants add an automatic gratuity for larger parties, such as six or more people, and I think that can be reasonable. But automatically charging four people? What makes this even more frustrating is that I felt like I was being treated differently simply because I had children with me. If the restaurant is worried that customers with children may not leave a tip, automatically adding 20% to the bill is not the solution. A tip should be based on the customer’s choice and the quality of the service. The food and service were otherwise fairly average and nothing particularly stood out. But automatically adding a 20% gratuity for a party of four left a very negative impression and completely changed my experience. I sincerely hope the owner will reconsider this policy. Policies like this can easily make customers feel uncomfortable or even discriminated against, and ultimately that can hurt the restaurant’s business. For anyone planning to come here with a party of four, especially if you have children, I strongly recommend asking about the gratuity policy before you order so you know exactly what you will be charged. As for the manager I spoke with, she was a young woman. I honestly didn’t have much of an impression of her before today, but the explanation I received did not make me feel that the situation was handled appropriately. I’m sharing this review so other customers can be aware of the policy and so hopefully the owner and management will take the feedback seriously. Thank you for reading.

The best chicken in Northern Virginia! Chicken is hot and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Lots of flavors to choose from also. Definitely a must if you are looking for delicious chicken that's also full sized not the mini wings you get from most places.

This place deserves more hype and better reviews! 💯 My boyfriend and I each got a combo which included 3 drumsticks (so flavorful, juicy, crispy and fresh out the fryer!), an appetizer, two sides (even the coleslaw was fresh!) and a soda for ONLY $16.99! We will definitely be back! The quality and price are top tier! The lady at the cashier was also super nice – offered free tastes of the different sauces to make sure we got what we want! 🤩

A friendly quaint store front, I ordered wings, fries, dumplings w/sauce (get xtra dipnsauce for the rice, so yummy) and fried rice, to make you want more with prices to match. I’m looking forward to going back, and I’m sure I will have to order more food bc it’s a 45 minute drive r/t but worth i! I recommend them for sure!!!!!

Very good if you like spicy food. I was hoping for non-spicy fried chicken for half of our family, and spicy for the other half. My husband loved everything and my one son enjoyed the spice too. However, it was a bit too much for me and my other son though. We kept eating because it was so good, but I personally do not enjoy that spicy feeling/taste. Most people do though. Good portions and size of popcorn shrimp and calamari. Very friendly atmosphere and staff.

Last Thursday, my boyfriend and I dined at GogiGoGo about an hour before closing after he discovered the restaurant through a TikTok review. We ordered the fried dumplings, spicy K-style ramen, and the bulgogi bowl. Every dish was excellent—so much so that we either finished everything or took the remainder home as leftovers. As it was my first time trying Korean cuisine, the experience was especially memorable. The owner, who also served as our server, kindly brought over kimchi for me to sample and even offered dessert at the end of the meal. Their hospitality added a thoughtful and personal touch to our visit. I have already shared photos and recommended the restaurant to friends and family in the area. I would gladly return to dine here whenever I am in the Ashburn area.

It was my first time here and the owner was kind enough to give a few recommendations. I ended up ordering the dosirak bulgogi and it was delicious. I love that the meat was sautéed in veggies to balance out the sweetness and the side dishes that were fried were crispy and not oily at all, you can tell that the oil they use is very fresh. I wish I had room for dessert because other reviews rave about the ice cream. But the portion size of the dish was more than enough for one person and I ate it all since it was so yummy😄next time I might start with the dessert!

Wouldn’t recommend at all! I’ve ordered from this place several times and their chicken used to be excellent. This time, however, the chicken tasted completely different, and the quality was nowhere near the same. On top of that, we found hair embedded inside the fries. We ordered the fries with cheese powder, and they put them in bags while they’re still hot, which makes them soggy and mushy. We were hungry, so we ate a few in the car, but when we got home and served some to my toddler, I discovered multiple strands of hair in the fries—not one long strand, but several short broken ones. Absolutely disgusting. I called the restaurant to express my disappointment before writing this review. The man on the phone claimed his chefs always wear hairnets and didn’t even apologize. I also sent him photos and told him it’s impossible for the hair to be mine because it was literally embedded inside the fries. The thought that my toddler ate this is going to bother me all night.

The boneless chicken is MASSIVE. And all flavors are delicious! Super crispy, no ranch needed!! An 8 piece is more than enough for one person. Spicy Galbi in picture was hot enough but not crazy.

Frequently asked questions about korean BBQ restaurants in Ashburn

What is Korean BBQ and what can I expect?

Korean BBQ is a culinary experience where diners grill marinated meats, seafood, and vegetables at their table. It's known for its interactive dining style, communal atmosphere, and a wide array of flavorful side dishes called banchan.

How does Korean BBQ work, especially all-you-can-eat options?

Korean BBQ restaurants typically offer a selection of raw ingredients that you cook yourself on a grill embedded in the table, often with the help of a server. All-you-can-eat (AYCE) options allow you to order multiple rounds of selected dishes for a set price, encouraging you to try a variety of meats and sides.

    Is Korean BBQ healthy?

The healthiness of Korean BBQ can vary depending on the choices made, as it often involves grilled meats and various side dishes. While lean meats and plenty of vegetables can contribute to a balanced meal, the preparation methods and accompanying sauces can sometimes be high in sodium and fat.

What makes Korean BBQ different from other types of barbecue?

Korean BBQ is distinguished by its interactive table-grilling experience, the emphasis on marinated meats, and the extensive variety of banchan (small side dishes) served with the meal. The cooking process is done by the diner, and the flavor profiles often incorporate sweet, savory, and spicy elements unique to Korean cuisine.

How much does Korean BBQ typically cost?

The cost of Korean BBQ can vary, with prices often depending on the type of restaurant and whether you opt for a la carte or all-you-can-eat options. A la carte dishes can range in price, while all-you-can-eat meals usually have a set price per person, offering a more economical way to sample a wide selection.
