There were 2 distinct ridges in the metal, and I was worried that ‘dent’ repair would not work and I would need a more complex repair that included repainting the door. Getting an estimate was easy and the process was explained. I left my MDX for repair while I was out of town, and it was ready ahead of schedule and looks fabulous! It surpasses my expectations and I’m so glad I used the Dent Shop.

Amazing experience with the Dent Shop in Ashburn, VA. Had a small door ding on the passenger side of my sports car (my toy), and it was close to the door pillar so impossible for me to fix myself. I had the best experience working with Jeremy at Ashburn Service & Tires. From the moment I walked in I was treated like family. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me. I came over from another chain shop that I did not trust and wanted his opinion. He took the time to clearly explain the work my car needed, ( turns out my engine mount on my mini cooper was busted!) He answered all my questions kindly and made sure I felt comfortable with the pricing! Jeremy even offered me a free ride serve back home that day, ordered the part immediately to get there on Monday since the weekend was coming up, and my car was ready to go by Monday afternoon with a passed inspection. I normally don’t like writing reviews, but this place deserves it. Jeremy helped me today to get my emissions inspection done quickly. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I definitely get the family owned vibes every time I come in. I have never felt pressured to spend more money on unnecessary services. They have always been very straightforward. I was having an issue with my car that three or four other places missed, and not only did they find the issue, but they worked with our warranty, so our out-of-pocket expense was limited. It is a relief to be able to take my car where it’s clear they just want to help me fix my issue.

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to give a shout-out to Jeremy, Alex, and the team! They were very transparent with me on what my car needed/didn’t need to get done, and their prices are very competitive compared to others in the area! Plus, they are so friendly and really make you feel taken care of. They’re not out to up-charge you or make you feel bad for not wanting to service something your car doesn’t need. Definitely returning as I think I will only get my car serviced here from now on.

I have been hesitant to write this review, but wanted to share my experience. I've been coming to this shop for safety inspections for years without issue, but first experience outside of that left me disappointed. I love coming to this shop because everyone is sogenuine and friendly. I brought in four aftermarket wheels (loose, and not on the vehicle) ready to be balanced. Due to the nature and value of the wheels, I normally take them to a specialty shop for proper care and I knew taking them here was a risk outside of my routine. Based on what I've experienced at this shop before, and the reviews written online,I thought it would be just fine. I'm telling you, the people here are top-notch. At least from what I've experienced with the folks at the front desk. All four wheels came back with varying levels of scratches and marring. It appears the damage was caused by pressure cup/outer cone that attaches to the outside of the wheel. On one wheel, one of the weights was barely hanging on. I will say though, the wheels are properly balanced, so at least there's that. Although the damage is cosmetic, my wheels just don't feel the same (sentimentally) anymore. If you're a car guy, you likely understand. I brought it to the attention to one of the service managers and confirmed there was damaged done and asked what I wanted to do. I requested a refund which was promply granted (thank you). Although in hindisght, I probalby should have escalated the situation to be properly compensated, but I just didn't have the energy. I figured I knew this was likely going to happen, so it's on me. If they're still open to working something out, I'd absolutely love to. If you have standard wheels, You're good to go here. They will definitely take care of you. But if you have aftermarket wheels or wheels you put in extra care and effort into, I'd recommend taking them to a shop that specializes in that kind of work.

I've been going to Ashburn Auto Care for years, Lacey and his team are fantastic. They're very knowledgeable, fair, honest, and respectful. The prices I've been quoted for services here were pretty much always more affordable than competitors, and I've never once felt in any way upsold or decieved. Lacey explains any issues comprehensively in ways a layman can understand, offers options to move forward with maintenance and/or repairs, and has even shown me how to keep up with maintenance myself to avoid potentially costly damage. The staff are friendly, reliable, and efficient and I recommend Ashburn Auto Care to everyone I know in the area for their trustworthy, upstanding service, especially other women and anyone who may be afraid of being taken advantage. They clearly take pride in honest work and exemplary service.

They have been my mechanic for years , they are consistent, fair and upfront with potential issues. Their learned advice about cars is vast , certainly helpful when you trying to keep your car for 300k miles. They are so trustworthy that it becomes to be a little difficult to get walk in service without appointments which is a credit to them as they do get quite busy.

I have started going here after my neighbor’s recommendation and dissatisfaction with a well known auto service group. Ashburn Auto Care service was great and fairly priced. In addition to the oil change I asked for a check over as I’ll be taking my 120k+ car on a 4,000+ mile trip in the near future. It’s all good to go. Thanks again!

Consistently great service, super friendly and very competitive pricing. I have had a couple of vehicles serviced here including an older vehicle for which parts are harder to source. In all cases they have gone above and beyond to chase things down and I have been very happy with the results. Several friends had recommended them and I can see why.

There's no shop in the Loudoun county area id recommend more than Ashburn auto. They helped get my car back on the road after faulty work was done from a previous shop. And faster than the estimated time to fix with very reasonable prices. Very likable and trustworthy owners. Five stars🌟

I bring my own Ammonia free (Tints of Nature) made in England; hair color. Ms. Amina has been doing my color & cut since 2018. She does a GREAT job and a very pleasant person. I think this is a GREAT place and every one is so nice.

We went to Momo & Grill roadhouse and the food is pretty good and the decor and ambience is warm and cozy. Service was excellent. They do add 20% tip automatically and add also add card processing fee to Sales tax on the tab

I had the steak and eggs for brunch. It was good however that cut of meat had more fat around it more than usual which made it less enjoyable. The service was good. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. The way things are now prices are up everywhere so I'm not surprised to pay almost $100 for 2 people. I would recommend this restaurant to others. The staff is very friendly.

I had a great experience at this repair shop. The staff was extremely professional and handled my car with great care throughout the visit. I went in for a state inspection, and everything was completed on time as promised. The front desk team was friendly, courteous, and made the check-in process smooth. The customer waiting area was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of seating. They also offered complimentary refreshments and even had a play area for kids. Overall, the service was efficient, professional, and customer-focused. I would definitely recommend this shop and will return for future service.

I don’t ever want to even think about relying on Honest-1 auto care. I don’t ever want to go and possibly suffer at their hands again. They left my car languishing on a lot for days, weeks. Charged me absurd prices for repairs and diagnosed repairs wrong. They scratched my car on either sides and kept quiet about it like I wouldn’t notice. (Not very "Honest-1" of them) They incorrectly deduced an electrical issue as "combination switch" and when I corrected them and said no, it was "FRM" module they laughed at me. They couldn’t identify a relay mismatch that was causing abs fault light, that took Nestor Auto Repair 30 minutes to find (which they did for me for free, Honest-1 asked for $160 TO JUST LOOK) No, no, no, never again. They would have to make the scratches they put go away before I would even speak to them.

Great experience at Honest-1 Auto Care!They replaced the battery in my 2021 Kia Sorento, and the process was seamless. The location is incredibly clean. The waiting area has air conditioning, comfortable seating, WIFI and a TV to watch while you wait.The entire staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the visit. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a fair price and excellent service!

Came in for my first state inspection and had a great experience! The customer service was wonderful- clear communication, friendly, fair pricing, and fast but professional, which is so different from my experiences at bigger chains in the area. They even offered to replace the battery in my (super inconvenient) dead key fob. Will definitely be back.

I left my car for a state nspection on that date around 2pm. I didn't hear from staff whether the inspection had been completed that afternoon. I called the following morning and was told the inspection had been completed. I arrived a few hours later to pick up my vehicle, but I was asked to wait while the desk attendant asked about the status of my vehicle. After waiting about a half hour, I was told there was a mix up. My car was never inspected as the staff thought I dropped off a different vehicle. I waited an additional 15 minutes while my vehicle was inspected. I was very unhappy with the delay.

Went there for a car inspection. Bil was incredibly helpful and took his time to clearly explain the issues found. The mechanics were also really helpful. They even went to research something further about my car model's history in order to be able to answer my question specifically. Very high quality shop. I went in for an ordinary service but the team at Craftsman of Ashburn made it into an extraordinary experience! Ian and Zach were very welcoming and have a way of making you feel like you have known them forever. Their customer service, kindness, and professionalism is truly unsurpassed! Craftsman's digital multipoint inspection report is magnificent (pictures and videos included) and the technician (James) who worked on my vehicle even came up to personally assure me that my car was in safe operating order. That type of reassurance and transparency is truly a rarity in the automotive repair industry! I traveled from Manassas to Ashburn for service at this location based on their positive reputation and will continue to do so without hesitation as they lived up to/surpassed every expectation! I've previously visited the Fairfax Craftsman Auto Care and had great experiences there. Happy to see the ashburn location has the same level of trustworthiness, reliability, and skill. Drop my car off for basic oil change in safety inspection and I received a full workup of the car's health as well as recommended service items. When I drop the car off? Bill was very friendly and helpful letting me know what to expect as to when the work would be completed. This location also offers after hours drop off which is helpful if you are unable to get the car in between the posted business hours. Got a call later the same day from Steve and he outlined in clear, simple to understand language exactly what service he would recommend on the car while remaining objective and not pushing me to get unnecessary work. When I declined some of the recommended work, I was not met with resistance, guilt, tripping, or fear-mongering. It is very difficult in this country to find a mechanic shop that trustworthy, transparent, and reliable. Craftsman Auto Care manages to hit all three of these traits. This is the only mechanic shop in the state that I would be comfortable sending people who are not familiar with car maintenance or trades. My only complain is that the folks that run this shop do not also have a plumbing, locksmith, HVAC, and electrical business. They exemplify the professional and trustworthy nature that is so lacking in the automotive repair industry.

I recently decided to try contact lenses, and both Haley and Dr. Samiei were incredibly patient, thorough, and encouraging throughout the process. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and confident, and I never felt rushed. I have also seen Dr. Slavin, who is absolutely wonderful, and I know Dr. Casella personally. Had a great first-time experience at MyEyeDr in Ashburn! Dr. Cassella was super nice and very knowledgeable about all the ways in which researchers (like me, and others who use screens a lot for work) can protect their eyes to prevent eye strain (and neck pain!). Cindy was also great — she was able to price match Costco and get me an annual supply of contacts for nearly 50% less than what I’ve paid in the past (not to mention free sunglasses)! All in all, a great experience – would highly recommend for those looking for a quick and easy appointment and renewed prescriptions.

This place is great. Erika was super helpful. I bought a mini dv cam that had a glitch with the cassette and she was so helpful in helping me find a replacement camcorder. She is also very knowledgeable in film cameras, and assisted me in finding one that fit my needs. The whole experience was very seamless and her customer service and patience was outstanding. Stopped by Ace Photo today for a couple of small fixes to my Nikon Z8 and 70-200 lens foot. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was happy to pay but they fixed both items at no cost. They were knowledgeable, patient, and very willing to help. They are also well-stocked with the newest equipment and used items too. Highly recommend to check them out.

I was truly touched by the service I received. I brought in two rolls of film, with some recent photos from a family member's birthday who shortly after the photos were taken, had passed away. I was hoping to develop this film and share the photos with family in time for the memorial service. I was anxious when I saw a sign on the door that film development was on a slight, but planned, delay. It meant my photos may not be ready in time. When I asked to confirm when the film may be ready, and shared the reason why I asked, the gentleman who was helping me immediately made a note. I was simply requesting for the rolls could be developed in a few days time – an uncertainty based on the sign on the door – but due to his kind service I received my developed film the very next day – not only in time but sooner than expected. I did not catch his name, but it was a lovely exchange. I am so very grateful for this act of kindness. Thank you!

Visiting from out of town and was really excited to visit a store that looked like it would have a ton of used goodies and was ready to buy anything that piqued my interest. While they did have a good variety of options, not a single soul asked if we needed help until we were about to disappointedly leave. They joked with a customer asking them to send more people in because they weren’t busy but even though we visited the Leica case multiple times and other various cases discussing what we were interested in looking at, no one asked how we were doing or if we wanted to take a look at anything. Just tells me they weren’t eager to make a sale. We were in there for over 30 minutes and I should’ve walked out with nothing but unfortunately needed a few essentials for my trip. Easily missed out on a $700+ sale but at least they got my $150 I guess.

The saga of having over month to have my car repaired and returned is complete. But I write this as erie insurance and VA T&A tried not repair the bolts shearing off the wheel as not caused by the incorrect brake installment as my fault to fix. That stung and I thanks a few representatives of VA T&A for being such nice guys in my decision to call off further legal action. Long story short the newly replaced front brakes on drivers side malfunctioned causing the tire to shear off the vehicle while driving. What I thought was minor noise of new brakes became an issue preventing my car from full functionality. I like to give the benefit of the doubt but this event could have gotten myself or others either seriously injured or a fatality if the star aligned for that situation. Our vehicles are not there for mechanics with training wheel experience to play with or to cause damage just to pad a companies pockets. I would like to continue to get oil changes but I'm still not sure it's worth the taking the risk.

Exceptional customer service and support… Arrived this morning right at 730 opening time for an emissions test. I was a walk in and there was a line of people ahead of me already. RJ was exceptional. He was very thorough and professional and had a demeanor that showed he really cared about what he's doing and who he was helping. He was proactive spending the time to explain how emissions test are reported to the DMV and the expected time. he then asked if I was on my way right now to the DMV and he gave me the physical copy and said this is all you would need. This really stuck out to me, especially in 2025 America.. I also sat and observed how the other employees were interacting with customers and was very surprised. Even the guys working in the shop showed patience and genuine compassion when explaining things to customers so the customer didn't feel "stupid". When they passed customers in the waiting area, they said good morning. It was outstanding. They had me in and out in 30 mins despite the waiting area being full of customers. They even brought my suv up and parked it right at the front door. Wow! Whoever manages this location, they are doing a great job, it clearly shows. Will definitely be back for other services. They passed my car state inspection in 2024 with all the same equipment the car currently has. I bring it in for a 2026 inspection and they fail it for the LED headlights. Quoted $190 dollars to replace and they used the cheapest bulbs possible. They try to extort someone who drives a 10-year old Subaru, like I'm made of money. They used to be a decent shop. Now they're another place that actively looks for items to pinch you on. Shame on Virginia Tire & Auto of One Loudoun and their practices. I will never return and I actively discourage others in the community to avoid this establishment.

Excellent service. Ray and RJ were extremely friendly and attentive and the customer service was way better than any other Virginia tire & auto. Wait times were not bad either. Definitely check this location out if you hate those long wait times!

Safety negligence: Shop attempted to release my Mercedes-Benz with a standard tire instead of the required Run-Flat (MOE), which is a major liability. Additionally, the alignment was returned with Caster specs significantly below Mercedes factory standards. UPDATE 5/5: Director of Sales (Jeff Trump) attempted to settle this with a $50 gift card while ignoring the out-of-spec alignment and the safety negligence. Management has now gone silent. Formal complaints filed with the VA Attorney General and a chargeback initiated. Avoid this chain if you value safety and professional accountability. UPDATE 5/12: Following my escalation to corporate leadership, Director Jeff Trump contacted me personally to apologize for the safety oversight and the unprofessional conduct of the store manager. They have since issued a full refund for the alignment labor and provided a gift card for the inconvenience. While the initial service was a major failure, I appreciate the executive team taking ownership of the safety risk and resolving the matter professionally.

Came in for a tire rotation on my GLE450. Waited over an hour and paid $35 for a service that was essentially useless for my vehicle — and nobody bothered to tell me that beforehand. What they didn’t tell me: the GLE450 has staggered fitment — different tire sizes front and rear — which means a standard front-to-back rotation is impossible. All they could do was a side-to-side swap on the same axle, which offers minimal benefit. A professional shop should know this upfront and inform the customer before charging for a service that provides little to no value for this vehicle. Instead, they said nothing, did the swap anyway, and collected the fee. No transparency, no explanation, no customer education. That’s not professionalism — that’s just taking money. I had to find out on my own that this service was essentially pointless for my car. Had they been upfront about this, I would have opted for a wheel alignment instead — something that would have actually made a difference for my vehicle. Because of their lack of communication, I wasted an hour of my time and $35, and still missed the service I actually needed. If you drive a vehicle with staggered tires, be warned: ask questions before you pay. This shop clearly prioritizes the transaction over actually serving the customer.

Came to VA Tire Auto today for state inspections, emissions and an oil change. I stopped going to the infiniti dealership about a year ago, started coming here and haven't looked back. They're efficient, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. Shout out to Trav and Chris for making today stress free for me.

This review is for a satey Inspection. This is place is about as dishonest as an auto shop can be. I’m a former Certified Ford Tech. I no longer turn wrenches for a living, but I can do anything a car needs. I have a Dodge Journey I purchased at a police impound in Gaithersburg Maryland. Because it was an "abandoned" vehicle, it came with a salvage title. I took the car to Craftsman Auto for inspection on Jan 15. They failed it for some valid things and some not valid. I replaced/repaired the valid reasons it failed as soon the snow melted and I was able to work on it. THE STORY FROM HERE IS IMPORTANT!! I took the car to VA Tire & Auto a Ashburn farms next to Patel Brothers 4/27/26. The inspector, who is a very angry, and visibly unhappy man came to me and aked why it failed before. I asked w"hy does that matter?" That was nearly 6 months ago in Jan. I want a new ground up inspection. He LIED and said there is an open inspection in the system within the past 30 days. I said that is impossible. The car has been sitting through the snow until it melted, and I could fix it. He grumbled and walked away. They failed the car for a tie rod and right front Headlight alignment. I found it odd they didn’t put a fail sticker on the car. All I had was a receipt for the $20. No inspection paperwork AT ALL! I fixed both and brought the car back 5/11/26, 2 weeks later, for reinspection and a front end alignment (alignment is necesary after replacing a tie rod, I replaced all 4 of them). They called me and said I needed to pay another $20 for inspection because the mechanic never inSpected the car on 4/27. I asked why since I was charged $20and had a receipt saying "safety inspection," and they said "because there was an open inspection within 30 days and they could not open a new inspection." I made it very clear I DESPERATELY need a safety inspection and will pay whatever fee. I can't drive the car until I get a normal title which requires safety inspection first! This IS A DIRE NEED! I Hung up the phone, and went there and spoke to the manager. I showed him the paper work from the January inspection and asked why I was charged $20 for a "non-inspection" on 4/27. The manager changed the story. He said because it had been 15 days, I had to pay $20. It’s only $1 if you’re there within 14 days. The law is actually 15 days. Look it up- THEY LIED AGAIN! I vehemently pleaded for a safety inspection because I need it to get a regular, non-salvage title. I asked the manager if the car had been inspected yet because I want to charge the freon if it passes, but only if it passes because I will have to take it apart if it doesn’t pass. The manager said I should request that after the inspection. I agreed and left. When I went to pick the car up three hours later, I was told THEY DIDN'T INSPECT THE CAR!!! I asked why- they said they were not sure I wanted to pay $20. I vehemently pleaded to have the car inspected because I need the inspection to obtain a regular title so I can drive the car. I asked if I can leave the car overnight and get it inspected tomorrow. The clerk went to the inspector and asked if they can do the inspection. The clerk said The State Inpsector said, "No- the car will fail for the headlight not being lined up properly." Unfortunately, I had nothing showing the car failed this time. I only their word of mouth which they can easily deny that it happened. Basically- the inspector was refusing to inspect the car for god knows what reason. I took the car elsewhere and it passed with flying colors. I’ll be filing a complaint with the state inspection board over this. THIS PLACE IT HORRIBLE! Please have a look at the pictures I posted and ask yourself what is wrong with the passenger headlight that is a safety issue? This place is NOT HONEST and the state inspector in the first bay has a chip on his shoulder. If you take your car here, look at the man in the first bay closest to the front desk. He has a chip on his shoulder. He hates you!

I mailed the following letter to Virginia Tire and Auto more than 6 weeks ago and no one has responded: Dear General Manager, We have been long-standing customers of Virginia Tire & Auto at the Ashburn Farms location and have historically relied on your staff’s professional judgment. However, we have experienced three service-related issues—two of them recent—that raise concerns about the thoroughness and reliability of your service recommendations. First, in July/August 2023, I brought our 2007 Toyota Corolla in for service prior to a planned cross-country road trip to Arizona. I specifically advised the front desk representative of the nature of the trip and asked that the vehicle be evaluated to ensure it was roadworthy. During that visit, Virginia Tire & Auto did not identify or advise us that the tires exhibited dry rot. While on the trip, the vehicle was totaled in a single-car accident, with tire dry rot identified as a contributing factor. Had this condition been identified at the time of service, we would have purchased replacement tires from Virginia Tire & Auto. Second, on November 20, 2025, we brought our 2016 Infiniti QX50 in for service. A battery replacement was recommended at a quoted price of $480. I declined the service due to the cost. At checkout, the representative realized the quote reflected two batteries rather than one. This suggests the estimate was not reviewed for accuracy or reasonableness before being presented. Had an accurate quote been provided initially, we would have proceeded with the replacement that day. Third, on December 17, 2025, we again brought the 2016 Infiniti QX50 in for service. A spark plug replacement was recommended. Upon further discussion, the representative acknowledged that the spark plugs had already been replaced in April 2024 and that the vehicle was not yet due for this service. This incident raises concern regarding whether service recommendations are consistently reviewed against prior work performed. While we understand that mistakes can occur, the cumulative effect of these experiences has caused us to pause before continuing our relationship with Virginia Tire & Auto. We would appreciate your consideration of a goodwill service credit and an explanation of how these issues will be addressed so that we can feel comfortable continuing to do business with your organization.

I had an oil change scheduled for 1:30pm a few weeks ago. I dropped my car off around 10:30am that day because I work in the same shopping center, so it was just easier to leave it for the team to get my car at the appointment time rather than me making sure that I could get out of work on time and bring it over for the oil change. I had discussed this with a member over the phone and in person. They wanted to make sure that I knew that you closed at 6pm. I said that that would not be a problem (as I get off work at 5pm and work on the same shopping center). I came back after work, around 5:15pm, and found out that my car hadn't even been touched yet. That was surprising in itself, especially since there wasn't a long line of clients waiting for inspections that day, and zip had left my car there all day AND had an appointment made for 1:30pm. I didn't have anything pressing to do, so I waiting for the team to do the oil change. When I got my car back, the additional perks that were stated online when I scheduled my appointment were clearly not done; my windshield was bot cleaned and my front floor/floor mats were not vacuumed. On top of that, there was a big greasy hand print/smear on my car door, my oil change reminder sticker was just dropped on the floor of my car, and bo replacement sticker was placed on my windshield. I usually don't comment or bring things up or leave reviews, but there was just a lot of things that had gone wrong and kept adding up.
