This review is for Michael Johns and his delivery crew for Liberty Safe & XCAL. Michael had fantastic communication, even while he was traveling out of the country for vacation. The process was simple and straightforward. It was really nice being able to walk into XCAL to view the comprehensive lineup from Liberty. A wide range for every budget. The delivery guys were professional, efficient and clean. They installed the dehumidifier and lights here at my house and it looks great. I was speaking to a couple other safe distributors/resellers and Michael/XCAL was by far the best value. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed myself at XCAL in Ashburn. They have a nice, modern facility that is very organized and well kept. The staff there was professional, friendly, and very patient when answering all of my questions, taking their time rather than rushing me. I thought it was especially impressive how safe and detailed-oriented they are; they take your comfort into account regardless of whether or not you are experienced with it. Their equipment is top-notch, and they have a very positive environment. Absolutely one of the best spots around.

I recently joined Xcal as a member. Having had memberships at other shooting ranges, all I can say is Xcal beats them hands down. The facility is extremely modern, clean, and completely on point for a 21st century indoor shooting range. In my opinion though the staff definitely makes the difference. Everyone is polite, professional, and welcoming. No attitudes, just geniune gun enthusiasts enjoying what they do. I’m glad I joined and look forward to many years as a member. Cheers!

Took my son for his first time at a range. Every staff member from the front desk to registration to RSO’s were polite and informative. The entire facility is clean and inviting so don’t worry about brass building up around you; without being intrusive it was swept away when needed by the staff. We are already planning a return trip next week and I appreciate the option to shoot everything from a 22 to a 50cal. Prices are reasonable, especially for the amenities and we definitely will be looking into a membership.

Awesome place. Super friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond to assist my sons shooting pistols and automatics for the first time. Went with my family of 5 from Australia in April 2026. No issues with my sons 8, 13 and 14 shooting a variety of firearms including automatics. Very safe and fun. Would love to come back again!

When the unit we had selected but not confirmed, was not available Al went out of his way to check availability in other facilities and managed to find us the desired unit. Extra Space Storage on Centergate Drive in Ashburn is in excellent condition, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff and management have been incredibly helpful from the start — they made reserving my unit easy, took the time to ensure it met all my needs, and were there to support me on move-in day. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the added security features provide great peace of mind. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone looking for a reliable and professional storage solution!

The online chat assistant (David) was also helpful for more minor concerns. Al the guy who manages the Ashburn location was very polite and helpful. Top notch so far and the facility seems very nice.

Initially called customer service, got very clear information on deal and conditions. Decided to view the facility. After viewing and speaking with manager (Chris) and signing up ,impressed with the whole process now have a 10×20 storage rented 6 month fix rate.chris is an asset to the company.

We just moved into the Ashborough three weeks ago. We absolutely love it. We didn’t know we were getting a premier apartment that was newly renovated. Everything was new Including all the appliances. We had an issue with the upstairs neighbors, making way too much noise in retaliation for reporting them. The office staff listened to our complaints and quickly moved the tenants to another apartment. Shout out to Tyler Monroe for making it happen. Now we are extreme happy. It’s such a peaceful area with trails everywhere and a dog park that we can easily walk to. Never mind the convenience of being able to walk to One Loudoun and Ashbrook Plaza. They also have a great clubhouse. We have lived in two other apartment communities in Loudoun County and this is by far the best already. And I should mention that all the office staff and maintenance crew are really nice and helpful.

Don’t move here if you can! New management is AWFUL! No one answers your calls, no one answers your emails, even the office staff are unsure of the new management and new program. Trying to charge us fees from our move in even though we were required to pay those in order to get our keys. Yet with the new online service to pay, I can’t even pay my rent right now since it MAKES me pay those random fees too. Then someone in the office just said to bring a certified check, but I WONT KEEP SPENDING MONEY ON MONEY ORDERS FOR THIS! I have a roommate, it was easy to split the rent online and pay separately, now we can’t even do that!!!!

Inyat came to fix my AC, and he did that and fixed the heat too! He is very skilled and friendly and explained everything. He arrived within 2 hours of my maintenance request. I LOVE living at Ashborough!

I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex due to multiple maintenance/appliance issues during my two years. However, I do want to recognize Tyler Monroe, the Assistant Community Manager. He was always calm, understanding, and genuinely helpful. No matter what came up, he consistently tried to find solutions and made a frustrating experience much more manageable. I truly appreciated his professionalism and support throughout everything.

**1st Update Update: After posting my Google review management contacted me about providing a video. I have so many I decided to post a few on since I couldn’t email them. ***It is a nice community but kind of old. Nice spacious units. However I have had problems since moving in. Little ones but nonetheless problems. Recently the noise is unbearable especially when I have to get up early for work. My upstairs neighbors are so inconsiderate.THE CONSTANT STOMPING and dragging stuff across the floor back and forth!!!! It is enough to drive anyone crazy. I have videos that I took. It is so loud it sounds as if they are coming through the floor. I have complained multiple times which didn’t seem to work. I even requested a meeting from management but nothing. 850pm on a Sundvieway night and I can hear everything. IT IS SO LOUD I CAN’T EVEN HEAR MY OWN TV. A couple of nights they woke me up at 1am which sucks when you have to get up at 4am for work. We all pay way too much to not be able to live in peace. ***2nd update. Nothing has changed even after posting videos. The only response I received was we will inform them. Also you could move to a different apartment. Really?!!! Who is going to help move my things, I am not hiring movers again just to move ve to another apartment for a few months and then again when my lease is up. That would be two sets of movers in about four months. I should not be penalized for trying to live noise free. Ugh!!!

Every time I go, I’m hopeful it’s going to be better. Every time I’m disappointed. I have to ask them to wipe down multiple areas again. Then I’m asked to go through the car wash a second time. It should not take complaining and 2 rounds for my car to be slightly cleaned. Don’t waste your money. The outside is just as bad.

Very disappointing experience. The interior was not cleaned properly, with dust still visible throughout the car. The rims were not polished well, and the exterior was left wet instead of being properly dried. For the price, I expected much better attention to detail. Pictures are attached.

Got my car window scratched with one of their brushes. Tried talking with a manager, Anthony came trying for me not to fill an incident report because he said it’ll most likely be denied. Due to him looking at the cameras and saying it was there before. I went thru the entrance 2 times one for the wash and one to try and talk with someone about it. So who knows what they are looking at. They refused to show me the images and treat you different if you are not a member. I’ve been a member but sold my other car and was trying to re enroll with this one too. I was fine with swirl scratches it gives to the paint but multiple scratches in center of my passenger window is too much. I ended up filling the “report” anyway , which was a blank letter page not an actual form. He asked for my information written on that ..which to me for A big company like this is ridiculous.

I’ve been using Flagship Car Wash in Northern Virginia for many years, going back to when the original Herndon location was actually excellent. Back then, you paid and left with a genuinely clean vehicle commiserate with the services requested and prices paid. But that experience appears to be long gone. Over the years, Flagship has bought up car wash after car wash throughout Northern Virginia. From a consumer’s perspective, independent alternatives have disappeared while Flagship signs have appeared everywhere. At the same time, prices have gone up, services have disappeared, and the quality of the actual work has fallen dramatically. Today I went to the large Ashburn location and asked the gentleman at the entrance that I wanted the best interior and exterior cleaning they offered that did not require leaving the vehicle for a full detail. I wasn’t asking for paint correction or a professional detail. I simply wanted the vehicle cleaned inside and out. I also made their job as easy as possible. I completely emptied the vehicle beforehand, removed all trash and personal belongings, emptied the door pockets, glovebox and center console, removed my EZ Pass, and even blew debris out from underneath the seats. I have WeatherTech floor liners, and I moved them specifically so everything could be accessed. The vehicle was not filthy or neglected. It simply needed basic routine cleaning. The attached pictures were taken AFTER Flagship finished. The WeatherTech liners still had dirt, debris and grime all over them. Interior plastics still had obvious spills and streaks. Cupholders were dirty. There was grime around controls. Door panels had visible marks. Large, easily accessible surfaces appeared not to have been touched at all. This is not nitpicking over a tiny spot hidden beneath a seat. These are obvious areas that are literally the things you pay an interior maintenance cleaning service to clean. The exterior experience wasn’t much better. The wash itself seems more abbreviated than what Flagship used to offer, they no longer hand dry the vehicle afterward to prevent water spots (which really was the advantage to this type of service over a gas station car wash), and somehow only three of the four tires received tire shine. I guess the fourth was already shiny enough for them. What makes the whole experience especially frustrating is how much effort seems to go into everything except actually cleaning the car. There is plenty of energy devoted to selling upgrades, promotions, contests, referrals and soliciting tips. I have no problem tipping people who provide good service, but somewhere in this highly optimized process, Flagship seems to have forgotten the most important part of the business model: actually cleaning the vehicle. The whole process is remarkably efficient. And to achieve maximum efficiency they appear to have eliminated the cleaning step from the process. I’ve worked in the automotive industry for approximately 30 years. I understand the difference between a maintenance wash, an interior cleaning and a professional detail. I wasn’t expecting a concours restoration. I expected someone to clean a cupholder, wipe down a plastic console and return the floor mats cleaner than they arrived. The most frustrating part is that I don’t keep returning because the previous experience was good. I return because months pass, I need a vehicle cleaned quickly, and I think, “Surely it can’t still be this bad.” Then I try to think of another full-service car wash nearby and remember that Flagship has bought everybody else out. Whether or not that constitutes a monopoly in the legal sense isn’t my concern. From a consumer’s perspective, it increasingly feels like there is no meaningful competition left, and the result is exactly what consumers fear when competition disappears: higher prices, fewer services and abysmal quality. Flagship used to be genuinely good. Now it increasingly feels like a reverse ATM: you put money in, they get your vehicle wet, and you drive away wondering what exactly you paid for.

Personally, I despise having to add a review, but I have been frustrated and unhappy with my experience at Bell Ashburn Farms over the past year, and it is still ongoing. I have several issues in my apartment that I have submitted requests about in the past, but I have received no concrete solutions for some of them. However, there are two primary issues that need to be addressed. Both the current community manager and the maintenance staff are fully aware of these issues. I have emailed the community manager, but have not received a response. I called today, but I wasn’t happy with the conversation I had with the community manager. Please note that I emailed a few days ago, and the community manager acknowledged on the call that he had seen my email and said he would respond when he was less busy. Basically, he ignored it. I have never been so eager to end a conversation that is going nowhere. Issue #1: We have water leaking from the ceiling to the wall at the hallway entrance of our apartment, and in our bathroom as well. Root cause of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, who I think is trying his best, someone left the laundry washer running for days in the above apartment, which is currently vacant. I have spoken to the apartment community manager, and, to be honest, I am disappointed with his response. Almost as if he wanted to argue with me the whole time I was talking to him about the issues. At first, I did not even know he was a community manager until I requested to speak with the community manager I knew, and he mentioned he was the current community manager for this month. I avoided arguing with him and focused on the issue I am experiencing. Current status of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, fixing the stain and damage to the ceiling and walls will take 1 to a few days. There is no ETA for a repair. The maintenance team proposed a fix of just painting over the stained and damaged ceiling and walls. Disappointing! Issue #2: Since day one of living in the apartment, we have noticed a foul odor coming from the dishwasher. This started on the first day we moved in. At the time, we hadn’t used it. Since then, we have made several requests regarding these issues, and each time I was told to drain the dirty water and use bleach to clean the dishwasher. Even with the temporary solution that was provided to me, the issue persisted. I have fallen terribly ill multiple times after using the dishwasher, so I had to stop washing my dishes and resort to handwashing them and placing them on a dish rack. Root cause of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, the issue was caused by the pipe hose under the kitchen sink being placed incorrectly. Due to that, the water from the sink gets suck into the dishwasher. It took maintenance “one year” to figure out this problem! Prior to this, I spoke with the current community manager about replacing the dishwasher, as cleaning it would not solve the problem. The dishwasher has mold in it. According to the community manager, he said, “I have to talk to the maintenance manager about replacing it. I told him I had done that in the past, and his response was that I had to discuss it with the maintenance manager. I can understand that your work today may be extremely busy, but giving me a solution that you can provide and have fast access to shows that you really do not care if we fall sick or not. The current community Manager don’t care whether the issue is fixed or not, even though I mentioned it has been an ongoing issue for 1 year. For the record, I have cleaned it several times with bleach, removed the filter to clean it, and tried my best to do a job I am not being paid for. This is beyond changing the pipe hose (which has been changed in the past, lol); it’s now about replacing the dishwasher. I am writing to request that the issues be fixed. We have established that these issues are not my fault but the apartment’s fault, so why am I being punished for them? Waiting for a response.

This place is great. Erika was super helpful. I bought a mini dv cam that had a glitch with the cassette and she was so helpful in helping me find a replacement camcorder. She is also very knowledgeable in film cameras, and assisted me in finding one that fit my needs. The whole experience was very seamless and her customer service and patience was outstanding. Stopped by Ace Photo today for a couple of small fixes to my Nikon Z8 and 70-200 lens foot. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was happy to pay but they fixed both items at no cost. They were knowledgeable, patient, and very willing to help. They are also well-stocked with the newest equipment and used items too. Highly recommend to check them out.

I was truly touched by the service I received. I brought in two rolls of film, with some recent photos from a family member’s birthday who shortly after the photos were taken, had passed away. I was hoping to develop this film and share the photos with family in time for the memorial service. I was anxious when I saw a sign on the door that film development was on a slight, but planned, delay. It meant my photos may not be ready in time. When I asked to confirm when the film may be ready, and shared the reason why I asked, the gentleman who was helping me immediately made a note. I was simply requesting for the rolls could be developed in a few days time – an uncertainty based on the sign on the door – but due to his kind service I received my developed film the very next day – not only in time but sooner than expected. I did not catch his name, but it was a lovely exchange. I am so very grateful for this act of kindness. Thank you!

Visiting from out of town and was really excited to visit a store that looked like it would have a ton of used goodies and was ready to buy anything that piqued my interest. While they did have a good variety of options, not a single soul asked if we needed help until we were about to disappointedly leave. They joked with a customer asking them to send more people in because they weren’t busy but even though we visited the Leica case multiple times and other various cases discussing what we were interested in looking at, no one asked how we were doing or if we wanted to take a look at anything. Just tells me they weren’t eager to make a sale. We were in there for over 30 minutes and I should’ve walked out with nothing but unfortunately needed a few essentials for my trip. Easily missed out on a $700+ sale but at least they got my $150 I guess.

Old, beautiful historic building with amazing staff. We were there for a wedding, and the team went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience. Notably, when one of our bridesmaids felt lightheaded and her insulin dropped, the girl behind the counter gave her a chocolate from her purse to help us. We cannot be thankful enough.

I come to DC a couple times per year and had a Wednesday afternoon to play a round. Despite the heat index today of 101, my request through Invited to play as a single any time in the afternoon was denied as they were “fully committed” because, as Doug said, “we have a large membership here”. Okie dokie. My request said walk or ride, and happy to be paired with anyone, ie, fully flexible. Clubs in this network should not do this; it is just bad business and poor marketing. If your club is prosperous enough not to care about that (which no club should presume to be), then don’t be in the network. Do better Belmont and Invited.

I was a guest as a reciprocal playing today. While the course had some rain, it was in fantastic shape. The greens rolled perfect. Would like to see a hybrid tee set up between the blues and whites as that gap is nearly 500 yds. Every staff related to golf were friendly and showed me where to find everything. Only downside was service at bar was a little slow, but maybe it is better when busier. Highly recommend the course

We hosted one of our recent family private events at the Belmont Country Club, and we were very happy with the planning coordination, service, and overall atmosphere during our event. All our guests were very pleased and had a wonderful time as well.

Nice mix of shops and services all around a Harris Teeter grocery anchor. Especially like the Goose creek Veterinary, but also a surprisingly good mix of eateries.

Harris Teeter. Always good. Big store. Well stocked. Clean. Good help & service from staff. Especially in the Deli. Store is pretty well managed. Only issue is if you have too many items for self check then sometimes checkout can be challenging … A bit slow … because too few stations open with staff pending customer surges. Nonetheless a great place to shop. Convenient & high quality.
