We LOVE Chef Gustavo! This was our second CozyMeal experience with him and it was just as delightful as the first. He really teaches you a lot about cooking and life, you get to make and enjoy a delicious meal, and you can connect with others with similar interests from the DC area. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a class with Chef Gustavo! He really knows what he is doing and has a lot of heart while doing it.

Chef Tiffany was AWESOME! She has a pleasant personality and was very knowledgeable about her craft. The meal she prepared tasted great! We had a wonderful time with Chef Gustavo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and confident, but also funny, approachable, and full of great energy. He guided us through complex Latin American fusion dishes and made them accessible, enjoyable, and surprisingly easy to tackle. Not only were the recipes fun to prepare, but the results were absolutely delicious. Throughout the evening, we chatted, laughed, and shared stories—it felt less like a cooking class and more like spending time with family. Chef Gustavo created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that put everyone at ease. His kitchen was the perfect setting for the experience. He had aprons ready for us, a beautifully set table, and a space that was comfortable, inviting, and completely nonjudgmental. We even got to practice a little Spanish with him, which made the evening even more memorable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone—whether you're a complete beginner, an experienced home cook looking to improve your skills, or simply someone looking for a unique and fun night out. Chef Gustavo is fantastic!

My partner and I took the pasta making class with Chef Jordan and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The location was unconventional but the kitchen space was nice. Chef Jordan was knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating (my partner is vegetarian and I am not). We learned how to make 3 types of pasta, a vegetarian and meat version of a red sauce and a cream sauce. We were given tips to elevate the flavor and everything we learned we would be able to replicate at home. We ate our food after class. Honestly, it was better than some restaurants we've been to for dates AND there were leftovers to take home. We have already looked into other classes offered and hope to take friends and family next time.

Great experience for the Mommy & Me Tea Party. My son said it was the best day of his life, granted this is after a sweet drink and cupcake, but we both genuinely had a great time. The instructors, Chef Aaron and Chef Sean, were pleasant and paced the instructions well for the mostly 6-7 year olds. Parking was easy in the garage on G3/G4 and walked over to M3 to Cookology. Definitely returning for a date night with the hubs!

Disappointed in the customer service provided by this company. I booked two tickets to a cooking class via their website, with the classes set for June 2025. The class was cancelled day-of due to a family emergency, which I completely understood. The company offered to rebook me into a different class, but none of the available classes in July-September fit my schedule and there was nothing on the calendar at all from October 2025 on. Despite reaching in out in multiple emails over the last 10 months, I haven’t heard from the DC Cooking School team since August 2025 and never received a refund or any other offers to make the situation right.

I recently attended a cocktail-making class at The DC Cooking School with Sayeh, and it was absolutely fantastic! Sayeh kicked off the evening by crafting a quick yet incredibly delicious charcuterie board, which was not only inspiring but something I’ve now incorporated into my hosting routine. The guest mixologist was phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and exceeded all expectations. The class struck the perfect balance between fun and educational, and the cocktails we created were next-level delicious. Sayeh and her team made the entire experience enjoyable and approachable, regardless of your skill level. I left with new skills, great memories, and a lot of excitement to come back. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience. This was my third DC Cooking School event, and I can’t wait to return for another!

Chef Daniela and her assistant Sierra provided a wonderful dinner for our group of 7 women on a retreat at the Marriott Ranch. I love Daniela's approach to providing authentic in-house Italian cooking. Her menu selections are thoughtfully created and each one sounds so delicious that it's hard narrowing it down to just one! She prepared everything on site including the home-made pasta which she showed us all how to make. She also shared cooking tips and stories from the time she spends in Italy. I would definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone craving an authentic Italian cuisine in-house dining experience.

Booked for my bachelorette – could not have been better! Daniela was so kind and helped to share the history and info on everything she prepared. She was professional and her assistant was so nice as well. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! And she easily accommodated a friend who has a gluten allergy. She also provides the recipes after the meal. I only wish I lived in VA so I could hire Daniela for another event. HIGHLY recommend this experience – we had lots of leftovers too!!

Our experience with Cucinamore this weekend totally surpassed even my very high expectations. Chef Daniela and her team brought absolutely everything they needed, provided an incredible meal that was beautifully presented and fully explained (including a map of Italy where she showed where various things originated), then left the kitchen cleaner than they found it. The Chef's Board has amazing Italian meats, the homemade herbed oil was dream-about-it delicious, and the Pasta Amatriciana was the best I've ever had. It was such a luxury for the extended family (13 of us) to just relax and be comfortable in our home while the meal was prepared by professionals. Chef Daniela also did a wonderful and thoughtful job accommodating food allergies and sensitivities. I highly recommend Cucinamore and look forward to our next dinner with them!

Went to Elena’s sourdough class with my bestie and it was like Lessons in Chemistry was brought to life. Elena is super talented and explained everything in a simple but scientific fashion. We had a great time learning and actively trying out each phase of the sourdough process. Elena sent us home with our own starter (levain) and I’ve made 6 loaves already, all a success thanks to Elena’s guidance. I definitely want to go back for another class!

Highly recommend Elena! She is a fabulous teacher. We did a sourdough bread making class with a bunch of women for our friend’s birthday and we not only learned so much, we had a lot of fun! It was so interesting to learn about he science behind sourdough and especially to get hands on experience working with the dough. Her sourdough is the best I’ve ever had! Looking forward to trying her recipes on my own soon as we all went home with detailed instructions and our own sourdough starter. Thank you Elena!

I had such a delight taking Elena’s cooking class! I first took the one-off knife skills class and then the 4-session cooking with confidence course. The lessons were very comprehensive and I was impressed with how much attention, time, care, and thoroughness that Elena puts into each one. I had so much fun while also learning skills that I’ll use for a very long time. There were three other people in my course, and I really enjoyed learning alongside them. This experience is encouraging me put more effort and care into cooking while also having fun and learning. Very much recommend!

Elena is a great cook/teacher. Was never a cook, didn't need to be! Life changes and this was a life changer! I have taken the Cooking with Confidence Beginners class and the sourdough class. Both were amazing, learned so much, not just the recipes we cooked but the tips and tricks she taught us. Cooked a few dishes for friends and they were a success (they would honestly tell me otherwise!). All easy to follow recipes are provided to take home, including advice on supplies you may need, all inexpensive recommendations (I am sure you have in your kitchen but there might be that one thing you don’t have). Her sourdough class is amazing, now addicted to making sourdough bread (although had a few questions at the beginning!). If you take the cooking class you eat what is cooked and believe my you don’t leave hungry! For the sourdough class you leave with a warm sourdough loaf and sourdough starter to immediately start baking at home! I look forward to taking more classes in the future. Photo is my first attempt at the sourdough, success!
