Very good hobby store. Only complaint is they need more board games. Didn't use it but the gaming space looked nice and big. Plenty of room for different games to be played at once. Friendly staff.

I was excited to go to a hobby shop for the first time in two years. Went in with my kid and was having a good time until a shorter cashier with brown hair says "I only like kids who aren’t whining and all kids whine" while we are next to the checkout line. This happened on April 26 2026. I am extremely disappointed that being in the store with my kid made my family feel unwelcome.

Came to this small little comic shop with my friend. Some nice back issue selections and also new release books are well organized. They even have cheap old comic bins. Their graphic comic storage boxes are also cheaper than other stores in the area. Def check them out if you love comics and you’re in the area.

It was fun seeing the new and the old sit next to each other and humans of all ages enjoying the selection and friendly staffs assistance. Definitely going back there. This place is honestly really cute. There’s a pretty decent selection and the layout is kinda charming with different Little rooms for different categories. They have everything from Transformers and Masters Of The Universe to Retro video games to Barbie dolls to plastic Dinosaurs. I even saw a shogun in Warriors Mazinger (that was sadly out of my price range). The guy running the place also seemed really nice. If you’re realy into the Toy collecting Hobby or if you’re a parent wanting to get your kids into it, this is definitely a great place to check out.

They have everything from funko pops, to comic books, to action figures, to Barbie’s, to trading cards, and the biggest collection of hot wheels I’ve ever seen. Plus so much more, I barely scratched the surface on the amount of collectible vintage products they have! They’ve help me add so much to my personal collection. Not to mention they have also excellent customer service, they greet everyone with a warm smile and they love to chat about anything and everything. Highly recommend if you’re a collector, a kid, or someone that just loves toys definitely check this place out. It’s a friendly small business that loves to meet new faces!

My son and I stopped by the store to pick up some unique LEGO parts we weren’t sure if we will find there. But the store was like a treasure chest with lots of new, used and loose LEGO pieces. This place is great! Lost a star because of slightly inflated pricing on mini figs; but they have a very, very large selection! Several assembled sets; but I was impressed with the amount of NIB and rare items they have. Was able to complete Series 26 since they had way more boxes than any other retail store too! All they need is a couple play tables with block trains for the 5 & under crowd to entertain themselves while the older kids browse. Our 10yo (and my wife and I) loved it!

We had a fantastic birthday party here! It really was easy – come with food and paper supplies, and everything else was taken care of. There were lots of organized activities that kept the kids fully engaged the entire time. A couple kids had to leave early and things were flexible enough to ensure they had time to make their own minifigs before the rest of the group was at that point. All the employees were super friendly Eveyone (kids and even parents who waited and watched) had a blast. Highly recommend!

This is the coolest, cleanest kids place I’ve ever been to. Everything is cleaned between the 90 min sessions and reset for kids to play. So many activities for them to explore. The recycling truck and Lego table was a huge hit with my almost 2 year old and 5.5 year old. It’s getting harder to find places that can entertain them both and it was FANTASTIC. The token you get at the front desk for a snack at the end is the cherry on the top! The kids get to pick their snack and everyone leaves at the same time so it makes the transition flawless. Only thing I was expecting was maybe a 5-10 min warning from the staff and to kindly ask if items could find their way back to the original location. Cleaning up after ourselves is a part of learning so I wouldn’t have been offended to have everyone doing it! Thanks so much for a great time!

We had our son's 3rd birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing. From the communication leading up to the party, to the flow of the party the day of, everything was perfect! The party hosts the day of the party were so attentive and on top of everything, making sure to keep us on schedule without having us feel rushed at all. You can tell they know what they are doing here, even with their simple suggestion of doing happy birthday before serving the food to make sure there were no messy clothes or faces in the pictures! On top of the stellar sevice the facility was so clean and the workers made sure to tidy up throughout the party as needed! As someone who used to host and plan birthday parties my expectations can be pretty high, I can honestly say Playstreet Museum far exceeded my expectations!! This was a lovely bookstore! Very clean and well stocked with so many items. It’s not as big as some other stores, but they have just what you’re looking for! Great place to browse and find a good book to read 📚 They have books, magazines, manga, Legos, toys, puzzles, stationery, agenda books, collectibles and more. The Starbucks area is quite large and has ample seating. They have all the holiday drinks available, but no merchandise for sale.

This is a nicely laid out, two-story B&N. Comfortable seats in the "reading area." It is rare that we don't find the books or other items carried in these stores we are looking for, and today was no exception. Good tailored local selection. Indoor the store was both busy with each of my now 2 visits— and generally a bit warm on the climate control. (Spring evening, was about 4-6*F warmer than normal comfort level— so I’d say it would have been 75-78F with the temperature outside cooler.)

The toilets are in a terrible state every time I've been there. I understand that the staff is not to blame for the customers' behavior, but there can't be paper everywhere on the floor all day and it smells terrible. Just hire someone to help this people there with this. This place is always full and they hardly have time for it. Also, some of the staff members a few times automatically leaves a tip when I order coffee without giving me a choice as to whether to do so or how much. It's not about the money because I always leave more than I should, but it's just unprofessional.

This place is a sweet pokemon/Funko shop for all ages! My 4yo loves it there. Great inventory with binder cards, multiple display cases of singles, slabs, and full shelves of sealed. Great place to trade in/cash out a collection. I took in my larger collection and prior to taking it in they respected its value and were transparent on pricing/expectations with no pressure for me to sell. Received a respectable offer and cashing out was no issue. Don’t forget to check them out on Discord to receive the extra trade in benefits and see shop hits come through. Check them out!

Had an excellent experience selling Pokémon cards at The Eternal Forge recently after being a previous buyer of singles and packs. Location is out of our way but we always make a trip here on the way to see family in Virginia. Love the Funko pop wall, the great selection of Pokémon cards (in multiple languages too!), and their associated gaming items. We worked with Yahya and even though the store was extremely busy on a Saturday, he was super attentive and helpful as he went through multiple stacks of our cards to determine what we should sell and keep. It took about an hour to go through all of our cards, but Yahya was great to work with and kept us updated throughout the hour. Staff was busy, but they were doing their best and checking in on everyone as folks came in to buy/sell their items. We ended up selling a good amount of cards, splitting between cash and store credit to get some single cards we wanted to purchase. We will definitely be back to The Eternal Forge the next time we want to buy or sell Pokémon cards. 10/10 experience!

I got $360 + $50 (I complained) trade in value for my cards and a day later a few seasoned Pokemon traders at the shop told me I had gotten scammed. The manager told me the value of my cards were so low due to the damage on them but this was way over exaggerated. Just 3 of the cards listed here are selling for over $300+ in the condition I brought them in on Ebay. The 2004 leaf green and fire red gengar EX damaged sells for $500+. I told the manager I was not experienced in pokemon and he took advantage of this. Beware when trading your cards in. These guys do not pay 80% value.. More like 50%. Now I’m on eBay trying to buy a PSA 1 gengar ex for $1000+. Sellers beware. And always ask for them to give you the value of each card separately. AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE THE DEAL IS MADE!

If I can give this store a negative star I would. The guy with glasses sold me a damage card. He didnt even mention it before my purchase. I paid already but I wanted sell it back where I would loose money or was asking for a single pack that is worth $6. He has an attitude and bad customer service. If you want to avoid this do not go to this store. Specially with the guy with glasses.

In this day and age of online shopping fueled by technology, convenience and price wars, it is a rarity to see a mom and pop toy store brave it out in the midst of a community where probably 80% of the residents are Amazon Prime members. Not only do they exist, but they also excel. There is a certain charm in walking around a physical store where not only can you touch and feel the merchandise, but also realize the thought that has gone into the arrangement of the same. When that gets amplified by excellent salespeople who are knowledgeable about their products, the experience is memorable. We buy birthday gifts here and this time the experience was as sweet as always. Highly recommend!

The cutest kids’ play place! 🥰 Everything was so clean and well-maintained, with lots of cute toys and fun activities for the kids. We had such a great time and will definitely come back! 💕

Very clean and safe place to have your kiddos play at! I'm used to places where you book a 1.5/2hr slot so staff has time to sanitize and organize toys. I didn't see this here, and toys were laying all over, so it kiddo couldn't really enjoy them fully cuz parts were in another section. I really didn't appreciate they have toy police batons and guns, I don't think violence should be taught as a game. Kids really enjoy the place, but depending how young they are, you have to constantly follow them around to make sure they don't fall, trip, etc. Since no shoes are allowed in the whole area, it's very nice they have slippers to wear in the bathroom. There is a changing table right outside of the restrooms, but no privacy, so babies are exposed when changing diapers.

We had a wonderful experience at this indoor playground! The facility was clean, safe, and well maintained. There were plenty of fun activities for children of different ages, and the play equipment kept the kids entertained for hours. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. It was a great place for the kids to play, explore, and burn off energy. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to other families!

If I could rate this place more I would. Chris is a wonderful and super honest guy. If anyone is looking for Sonny Angels or anything of the sorts Senpai’s Corner is the place you need to do your business. They have a wonderful selection, it’s very nice and clean and in a good area, and most importantly the employees are fantastic. If you want to buy Sonny Angels, go here not online.

I have become a regular at senpai’s corner! I’ve gone multiple times and have traveled from Virginia Beach to DC just to enjoy the experience, I’ve found my slice of blindbox heaven! The people are so friendly and kind. Every time I go I always find something new! I ordered online and the shipping was quick, and packed amazing. I love Senpai’s Corner and I wish Virginia Beach had a shop as amazing as this! But I’m willing to take a trip to visit as well as go to their meet ups!!!!

This is the CUTEST place ever. I came here on a mission as soon as I discovered it on Facebook. It’s not hard to find, there’s a good amount of street parking and as soon as you walk in, it’s toy heaven! Self control out the window. I really liked the collection they had here, some things that are out of stock on Popmart could be available here, without having to wait two weeks for shipping! 😆 They also have Labubu outfits and a variety of Monchichi, I don’t collect simski’s or Sonny Angels -yet?- but they had quite the collection of that too. There’s also a second floor with other products too! Lots of fun stuff if you’re a collector, highly recommend. (I was also told they do trade as well!)

I had no idea this place existed in Herndon until after I decided to pick up my AwesomeCon badge. It's a tiny place but has a lot of anime-related stuff on the first floor and Warhammer, Gundam, Pokémon cards on the second floor. I think the first floor is designed for girls and the second floor for guys. You can also buy paint for your Warhammer figures here. The staff on both floors were friendly and helpful, and easy to talk to. The prices are neither expensive nor cheap. It's on par with other shops in the DMV. The place is kind of small, and the stuff they have is limited. However, I don't think I should dock one star for that, given it's a small business. There isn't much else I can write about because the pictures will give you a better idea. Go check the pics!
