Brandon C. Is such a great tech and representative for PMSI! Generally most of the techs have had been great to do our services. He always makes sure he does what he can to address whatever we have going on. We are on quarterly service plan but if anything comes up, we can contact PMSI and they will send him out in a timely manner. No one can keep all bugs and critters gone but we can tell they do a great service, don’t cheap out on product, and have some caring workers. Our pups even get some love from Brandon when he comes by.

We have been using PMSI for over a year and half now and cannot recommend their services enough. They are extremely accommodating to your schedule with their quarterly visits (even when you need to reschedule last minute). They send email reminders before visits and come out in between for FREE warranty visits if you notice any issues in the meantime. Greg has been our technician and he truly feels like a family friend at this point. He’s so kind and caring to our family and extremely diligent in his work. You can’t go wrong with PMSI!!

Megan has been servicing our home for almost 2 years. She is always timely, professional, and friendly. I love that PMSI sends the same person to our house every time so the technician knows the property and where things are located. We have had 3 different pest control companies over the years and PMSI is the best! They are also easy to schedule and customer service is great.

Our original HVAC company gave us a an estimate to replace our entire HVAC system because of a problem we were having. I called Modern Mechanical and they sent out a tech within 2 hours. He ran his test on our air handler and heat pump and determined we really DID NOT require a complete HVAC replacement. All he did was to add some additional refrigerant into the heat pump to bring it up the required amount. Did some additional upgrades and all is well . Jamie was the tech and did a GREAT job explaining what he felt the problem was and DID NOT require a new HVAC SYSTEM. He is a great representative for Modern Mechanical and I will now use them for all our future HVAC REQUIREMENTS. 👍👍👍

We were very pleased with the work that they did at our home for a move out cleaning service. The work was exceptional. Their price was excellent. They were also extremely accommodating when we had to move the scheduled cleaning date because of the movers timeline to an earlier date. I would highly recommend them.

I reached out to Patricia because I went to the apartment to look at the job after the move out clean. The floors were still dirty and the carpets looked like they were vacuumed quickly and poorly. I am quite disappointed mostly with the response given by Patricia. Instead of her understanding my disappointment she simply replied with “You don’t appreciate it”.. This is not about appreciation. It’s about a standard for a move out clean. When I asked for the direct supervisors number 2x, instead continued to argue with me. I didn’t reach out to her for an argument but to express my frustration and disappointment and instead of being understanding she wanted to go back and forth. I tried to reach out to discuss this between her and I first because I didn’t want to leave a bad review. Had the conversation been just that instead of an argument with her, this review would have been better. Sorry but this was a terrible experience, mostly due to the conversation after I reached out.

I hired Patricia and her team to perform a “Move out” cleaning at a townhouse. Patricia called me the morning of our scheduled cleaning to inform me that her team would be running late. They arrived a couple of hours later and performed the cleaning in a couple of hours. I’m happy with the job that they’ve done – and I would recommend them for similar cleaning services.

I was searching for a cleaning service for our move out. Came across this company and APS home cleaning services went ABOVE & BEYOND. She worked with me and gave me advice on what service I should get and ultimately what service would benefit me the most financially. She had my best interest in mind and didn’t want me overpaying for a service I didn’t need. Extremely accommodating and excellent with communication. If I could rate 5+ stars I would!

UPDATE 5/11 @ 5:22 PM Their reply is exactly why I am posting photos. This was not a “small number of touch-up concerns.” Multiple areas of the home were still visibly dirty after the cleaning, and I have added photos showing the condition the home was left in. They also broke the handle on our refrigerator and scratched our brand new flooring. Those are not touch-ups. That is property damage. The company’s position seems to be that because they offered to come back, that should resolve the issue. When a company leaves a home dirty, damages property, refuses a refund, and then minimizes the complaint publicly, I am not going to invite them back into the home for round two. I stand by my review. The service was not completed to a professional standard, the home was damaged, and the refund request was refused. I posted photos so other customers can judge the work for themselves. ORIGINAL 5/11 @ 3PM We hired APS Home Cleaning Services to clean our home, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The team arrived unprepared, large sections of the home were still visibly dirty after they left, and the service was nowhere near the standard we expected from a professional cleaning company. Even worse, during the appointment our refrigerator door handle was broken and our brand new flooring was scratched. When I contacted the company to request a refund, they refused and repeatedly pushed to come back into the home, even though trust had already been broken. At one point, the response was essentially to take them to court. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. The home was left dirty, damaged, and we were refused a refund.

Loudon Carpet Care was very responsive and quick. We just bought a new house and needed the carpets cleaned before we moved in. They were able to come within a week and the job was handled quick and easy. I’m looking at replacing the carpets eventually as well and I will be going with them to do the job. Highly recommend.

The team came just before Christmas and had called me on the way to let me know they were hitting some traffic from Purcellville to me in Sterling. Not a problem, I appreciated their call more than they knew; nothing worse than being left wondering. Once they arrived – and still well within their estimated arrival window by the way – they got to work immediately upon arrival. I had to take my daughter to school not long after they arrived and comfortably left them to do their work. When I returned about 25 minutes later, their machines had broken! Well the office made it right and had a second team out to me in about an hour. I was so impressed. I can’t imagine it was ideal for them, but I really appreciated how they all worked together to complete the job. This was our second time using Loudoun Carpet Care and I don’t think we’ll go anywhere else. Always happy with their professionalism, pricing, friendly demeanor (in person and over the phone), and efficiency.

From start to finish the experience was easy, pleasant, and very cost effective. We thought we may have to replace a portion of our carpet but they were able to clean it and save us a ton of money. This company did an excellent job cleaning the carpets, couch and persian rug. They even did pick up and delivery for my persian rug to be cleaned at their shop. I will definitely be using them for my carpet care needs in the future. The persian rug is all fresh and clean! The technician did a great job and he was so nice, friendly and thorough.

DO NOT use this company, complete scam! I paid for full cleaning move out service. Two people showed up I confirmed if they would clean bathroom. She looked me right in my face and said yes, then they did not even touch the bathroom. The tub was untouched and dirty, floors not swept nor mopped, was dirt on the mirror, toilet not touched. I didnt get a pic of that since I had a flight out of DMV area and I had to clean it all myself, and was unable to drop off packages for shipping and had to throw it away since I spent my morning cleaning up after them! Also did not clean the freezer though I paid for refrigerator cleaning. I have contacted them about this and they havent replied and have completely ignored me! I also read other reviews afterwards saying the same they dont touch the bathroom and people have to clean up after them though they are supposed to! They looked very young too so be aware and save your money-they are SCAMMERS!

Our water heater stopped working and we ordered a new one from Modern Mechanical. Technician plumber Brett Knox arrived at out home at 9:30 this morning as promised in a text sent 45 minutes earlier. He scoped things out and went to work. He wrestled the old bulky 75 gallon tank out of the utility closet and installed a new 50 gallon tank in about 3.5 hours. He did a beautiful job with the copper piping and put in a new expansion tank. He also realigned the overflow pipe from the new overflow pan so it didn’t conflict with the access to our HVAC filter as before. Brett was extremely courteous, professional and trustworthy. Brett is a thoughtful, kind individual with a positive vibe about him. We enjoyed having him in our home. I would highly recommend Brett for any of your plumbing needs.

We recently had our HVAC replaced by Modern Mechanical and George was the most honest salesperson I’ve ever met. He was upfront with the costs, pros/cons of various units and took the time to walk us through the entire process to make an informed decision. The installers were great and didn’t leave a mess behind and took the time to show us some of the features of the furnace, humidifier, AC and thermostat.

We ended up needing a new hot water heater unexpectedly. Omar, with Modern Mechanical, showed up within the scheduled time frame and went right to work . He diagnosed the situation to determine if he could salvage the existing hot water heater with a repair or if replacing it was the best option. The 20 year old unit needed replacing so Omar began the job. He worked non stop until the new water heater was installed and functioning properly. His work is very clean, neat and professional. Would / will definitely recommend him and Modern Mechanical to others.

I have used Modern Mechanical for the past 3 years and have been repeatedly disappointed by their shoddy workmanship and poor customer service. Modern Mechanical installed a new heat pump and condenser at my home 3 years ago. A week later, I needed a breaker replacement due to the new system overloading the breaker. Despite having signed up for the Home Guard membership and having a one-year warranty in place, I did not receive the advertised discount or any other adjustment. Last year, I required a repair for a refrigerant leak. I again did not receive the Home Guard discount. Moreover, the technician explained that the leak was due to improper installation of the condenser by Modern Mechanical two years earlier. The technician was incredibly rude, chatting with a friend he brought along, and the company took no corrective action to fix the improper installation after his visit. I had yet another leak this year, from the heat pump this time. The technician didn’t address the leak, but he reiterated that our condenser was improperly installed by Modern Mechanical. When I called the company to explain the situation, I was told that management would respond shortly. I received a call back moments later from the customer service agent I had spoken to, only to be yelled at and berated for bringing up an issue which the company’s own technicians had repeatedly raised. I later received an email from management which refused to address the technicians’ concerns about the improper installation, as well as the overcharged service visits. If you are looking for peace of mind and an HVAC system that works, do not choose Modern Mechanical.

The process was smooth, and they took the time to understand exactly what I needed for my items. I requested a specific service for a few pieces that needed extra care, and they handled it very well. They listened, gave me clear expectations, and delivered just as promised. I really appreciate that level of attention and communication. The quality of the cleaning was great, everything came back fresh, neat, and well cared for. You can tell they pay attention to details, which makes a big difference. Pricing felt fair for the service, and the location is convenient for quick drop-off and pick-up. Overall, a reliable place that I would definitely come back to and recommend to others.

I gave them two dresses for drywash. None of them were cleaned properly. Stains are still on them. It looks dirty as it was before. Paid for 47$. I’m very disappointed on their service.

I have no complaints about this place, the staff members are attentive and very friendly. I don’t use them often b/c as others have said, they can be on the pricey end when compared to other cleaners in the area but they are in Loudoun/cAshburn where everything is overpriced. Can’t rate their tailoring yet, will be able to in a couple of days after getting them to modify the numbers on my hockey jersey – which was pricey to have them fix.

They charged me $60 to get a king comforter cleaned, no stains, nothing special done to it. Dry cleaning place not even 5 minutes from there charged $23 for the same thing. Needless to say, I feel like I’ve been robbed and I will never be returning.

I have come to this dry cleaners once because it was near me. They really did a good job at cleaning my suit. It is a little pricey though and they are closed on Sundays.
