This is a great local and regional bike shop. Fabulous coffee, beer and food. Friendly staff. This shop has a great mix of bikes, with something for every interest, skill set and price point. Most importantly, there's no judgement about what you ride. Folks here want you to get out, have a good time, and have amazing experiences.

On a recent visit for both bike service and a retail purchase, at least three staff members interacted with me. All were helpful in identifying what I needed and steering me toward or providing it. All were friendly and not in a fake or inappropriate way. My sense was that they enjoy their subject matter and are glad to help others enjoy it as well.

Best customer service I have ever experienced in any store. As a new bike owner, I was unsure how to proceed about safely assembling my new bike. I called and was immediately greeted by a very friendly and helpful employee who told me exactly what to do to get my bike ready. Once I got to the store I was met at the door with someone helping to carry my bike and gear in and directed me where to go. Come to find out, what I was expecting to take a couple of weeks and a few hundred dollars could be done in about an hour for much less. And I could even have a pint while waiting! Several times while walking around the store I was asked if I needed help (in the friendly not "I'm trying to get you to buy something" way). This place is great. I'm new to the bike scene but The Bike Lane definitely makes it easier. Thanks!

I always have a great experience at Trek. Ethan is outstanding and immediately diagnosed a couple issues I’d missed. He fixed several issues for free (part could be bent back into place or brakes were just tightened up), and only charge me for new tires and tubes. He communicated well and was patient walking me through the issues and repairs. Great shop, outstanding service!

Service was excellent, they were very good and working with novice buyers. Not too pushy with upselling, you tell them your budget and they'll go over honestly what you're giving up with a cheaper model. Still is excellent quality merchandise.

I had a really good experience with Fix My Road Bike in Leesburg. They were professional, knowledgeable, and got my bike taken care of quickly. I appreciated that they explained the repair clearly and didn’t make me feel rushed. I would recommend this location to anyone needing bike repairs or service.

I’ve been to trek stores in Alexandria and Springfield and received better service from those places. The salesperson who seemed to be a college student or recent grad wasn’t too helpful and seemed to not want to spend much time with us. I read other low rated reviews and understand I may have not been the usual upper crust customer they are used to.

I've wanted a Trek bike for years and spent countless hours doing my own research before making a purchase. I just learned about this new bike place in Ashburn, and it was super timely because my son was due for a new bike! We walked in and immediately saw the perfect bike for him! He did a little test drive, and it was a winner. We also got a helmet that fit perfectly as well as a bike lock. The owner/manager was super helpful and very knowledgeable. I will be back for my own helmet! Love this place!

So incredibly impressed by this shop. I’ve wanted to get into road biking for the past year or so and had been exploring Facebook marketplace, but with limited knowledge, felt like going to a shop was a better move. Boy did that turn out to be the case! Tyler worked with me for a few hours this past Saturday and got me hooked up with my first road bike and I’m now hooked. So incredibly professional and an amazing demeanor. They’ve got a customer for life and I highly recommend checking them out!

My experience was actually 5 stars! First I called to ensure I could drop off and have my bike back soon. The technician could not make any promises but once I dropped off I was immediately given an assessment and cost estimate. I was able to get my bike back the following day and it was like riding a new bike. The work was expertly done and the estimate was on target.

Great shop! They fixed up my 30+ y.o. GT mountain bike and it rides so smooth now. I was worried they would push for an expensive overhaul given how old the bikes was, but they gave a very reasonable and sensible quote to fix up my bike. It was delicious—admittedly a bit sweet for my taste, but that’s likely just because I’m a naturally bitter person, at least when it comes to coffee. If you have a sweet tooth, it’s a total winner. The Gear: Warning to your wallet: it is nearly impossible to leave here without a "bike-related" impulse buy. Their selection of bike snacks, electrolytes, and replenishment gear is top-tier. It truly is a one-stop shop for any rider. The Vibe: • The Staff: Consistently lovely and helpful. • The Crowd: Even though I’m not always in the same demographic as the "regulars," I always find myself having a great chat once the caffeine kicks in and my social battery starts charging. • The Location: A beautiful spot in Herndon right along the trail. Had two bikes tuned up here, and they did an exceptional job. Both bikes ride smoothly and look nearly brand new despite both of them being several years old. The staff is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. I gave 4 starts because I noticed after leaving and reviewing the receipt that they replaced the handlebar wrapping on one of the bikes that I hadn't asked them to change and charged me for the wrapping. Not a huge upcharge, it just felt weird and a bit inconsiderate to not be contacted first and given the chance to at least pick the wrapping. I would have definitely picked something a bit nicer. Basically, great team and service but communication could use some work

From the minute I walked in the door everyone was so welcoming and friendly. They explained how everything works and how to use the bike and They even decorated my locker for my first ride! Kailee was my instructor and she was amazing. So friendly and upbeat. I will definitely be coming regularly!

I rode for the first time and everyone was so nice and took care of everything I needed. Lauren, Lana, and Ayah were very kind and supportive! My daughter Erica, was my instructor, so my review of her will always be positive. But she had great energy, she made everyone feel welcome, and like they were a part of the ride. She will push you! The riders were also so kind! I highly recommend Cyclebar. I can’t wait to come back when I visit Northern Va!

I went for a cycling class at Cyclebar in Ashburn and it was great! To start, the staff made it easy to schedule and they were incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way. They helped adjust my bike and made sure I was all set before class began. I am trying to get into exercising and the instructor, Morgan, was really fantastic. The music was fun and had just the right beats to power us through. Morgan was also encouraging and gave clear instructions (great for a newbie like me). I just went at my own pace while others kept up with the instructor, and that was totally fine. I didn't feel rushed or like I had to go beyond my skill level, but still motivated to push myself and get a good workout. They provided the shoes needed along with towels and a cold, lemon-scented towel at the end. Cyclebar was very detail oriented and welcoming and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a spin class or just a good cardio workout.

Love this place and love the owners. I bought a mountain bike from specialized and got delivered here and when I picked it up, the owner took care of me and gave me tips on best places to go. He never tried to upsell me anything, rather told me the pedals it came with were good enough even though I was thinking of getting a new one at the shop. Will be taking my bike for repair over there every time.

Love this bike shop. Honest, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. I've dealt with them A number of times. There have been times where I thought I needed to replace something on the bike only to Be told the bike was in good condition. Today I accidentally broke the connection for the hand brakes. Tom explained to me how I managed to break it and informed me how to handle a bike in the future when putting it in the back of my car. he repaired the bike very quickly for an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this bike shop.

They have consistently solved and repaired complicated problems with my bikes at fair prices. I appreciate the value of talented and committed people especially when they commit themselves to worthy causes…Mike and Tom clearly fit these criteria. Came in off the trail with a flat, and they fixed it quickly and right before closing time which was much appreciated! They have a great little shop and I can see why they’ve been in business for so long. Just a couple guys who love what they do! Definitely would recommend to any cycling enthusiasts.

They were very kind to me when the e-brake fix didn't go according to plan. The brake levers are still a bit finicky and the ebrake often catches — I just make sure it's fully disengaged when I need to otherwise it shuts down the power to the scooter (A Nami Super Stellar). They didn't do the other things they said they were going to do like tighten up the stem and put a cable management sleeves over the cables — I had brought in some spare silicone sleeves just in case but the young fella who took the order said they would take care of it. However, I commend them for making up for it, monetarily. I hope they can improve/be more consistent given the other reviews — I have a feeling I hit them at the wrong time — and/or they didn't take the proper notes when I came in). For me they are the only official game in town since they are the only official Nami supplier in the area. Alas, I live over 50 minutes drive away which they knew coming in.

Took my son’s electric scooter her because it was making a loud squeak. They fixed it while waiting. We have another scooter with worse problem and we discussed it while we were there. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and his honesty will save me money, as i know more about our e-scooters. Highly recommend!
