Old, beautiful historic building with amazing staff. We were there for a wedding, and the team went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience. Notably, when one of our bridesmaids felt lightheaded and her insulin dropped, the girl behind the counter gave her a chocolate from her purse to help us. We cannot be thankful enough.

I come to DC a couple times per year and had a Wednesday afternoon to play a round. Despite the heat index today of 101, my request through Invited to play as a single any time in the afternoon was denied as they were "fully committed" because, as Doug said, "we have a large membership here". Okie dokie. My request said walk or ride, and happy to be paired with anyone, ie, fully flexible. Clubs in this network should not do this; it is just bad business and poor marketing. If your club is prosperous enough not to care about that (which no club should presume to be), then don’t be in the network. Do better Belmont and Invited.

I was a guest as a reciprocal playing today. While the course had some rain, it was in fantastic shape. The greens rolled perfect. Would like to see a hybrid tee set up between the blues and whites as that gap is nearly 500 yds. Every staff related to golf were friendly and showed me where to find everything. Only downside was service at bar was a little slow, but maybe it is better when busier. Highly recommend the course

2. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema One Loudoun

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema One Loudoun
Address
20575 Easthampton Plaza, Ashburn, VA 20147, United States
Rating
8.3 (+ 3556 reviews)

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema One Loudoun offers a distinctive movie-going experience with a retro-themed lobby that adds character to the venue. Known for its high-quality concessions, including well-crafted food and a variety of drinks, it caters to both casual snackers and those seeking a more substantial meal. The theater boasts an impressive screen and a lively atmosphere, though seating comfort could be refined for an even more immersive experience.

Service efficiency and attentiveness can vary, with some guests noting delays in drink delivery or limited staff interaction. While the thematic ambiance and bottomless popcorn (when functional) enhance the experience, minor adjustments—like improved lighting for order-taking and better-stocked facilities—could elevate the overall visit. A solid choice for film lovers balancing entertainment with comfort.

Pretty cool place to watch a movie and get some decent snacks and beverages. Apparently the theme in the lobby is from the shining movie which is pretty cool! I had the turkey wrap and it was really good. Seats could use a little updating but other than that the screen is great.

Nice theater and cool vibes with the retro media, but it definitely has room for improvement. The first time I came it took so long for my beer to be delivered that I ended up ordering a second one as I thought they hadn't got my first order. Also, the food is fine, albeit expensive, and there's not enough lighting, if any at times, in the theater to write down orders during the movie. Not to mention how loud it is in the theater during the previews.

Came here to see the new Spiderman movie. The food and drink were good, I do wish they offered reclining seats but it is clear when booking your tickets that they are normal seats. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the theater offers "bottomless" popcorn but we were unable to get a single refill throughout the entire duration of the film. Overall a good experience but wished we could have been able to flag down our server for more popcorn.

The Alamo used to be my favorite theatre growing up, but this specific one has definitely gone downhill. The staff almost never come back unless its to give you the check, theres never anyone at the bar area to speak to or answer questions if you need anything, bathrooms are frequently understocked, once the movie starts youre pretty much on ur own till it ends (like a normal theatre) and you can forget about ordering food, it wont come until the movie is nearly over and then you likely wont have time to finish. The staff is very neglectful, I feel they need a revamp and new employees. They also do NOT tell you about any after credit scenes, so Google it before going in to make sure you don't miss them.

What happened to this theater? We just went to see the Odyssey and we end up in dreaded theater 9. I wish the app would let you know which theater the movie is playing in. We would have chosen a different time. 1. As soon as we sat down, the armrest on one of our seats was completely broken. As in it came off. Dropped to the floor. It was unusable. Lovely. I felt like I was sitting in the middle seat on an airplane and lost the armrest war. 2. The ordering system. Everything is now ordered through an app. No one will take your order. It took an extremely long time to get our drinks and even longer for our food. The food was cold by the time we got it. Not great, especially for fries. 3. Of course you are still expected to tip your servers. If you’d do not close out your tab within 20 minutes of the movie being over, it is closed for you with an automatic 18% tip added. No one tells you this of course. Luckily I remembered to close it out before we left. I do not mind tipping. I get it. It’s part of our everyday life. I would like to have a real server take my order. 4. It really irks me we have to order online using their WiFi because regular signal will not work. I do not like using public WiFi. I try to avoid it at all cost. So not only do we need to use the WiFi, but we have to enter credit cards numbers as well as all our other info. A dishonest persons paradise. We used to love going to this theater, next time we will be going elsewhere. Maybe where the seats are not broken and they recline.

We had our daughter's birthday party here last weekend and can't speak highly enough of the support and care taken by Mia on the day to ensure that the event ran smoothly. Mia is a problem solver, helping make sure we could get the audio connection resolved in time and addressing any concerns and questions throughout the event. All with a smile on her face and a first class attitude. Thank you Mia 🙏 Brad and Elysia were instrumental in making sure we were set up for success from the booking to the event itself. Thank you both for all the pre-event prep needed to make this a success!! Thank you Ashburn Ice House Team for making this an unforgettable event for our family 🙌

This has been our ice skating home since being referred by friends and neighbors. I know there are other rinks in nearby counties, but this one has all we need. The public skate was not too crowded and enjoyable for all levels of skaters. There are plenty of benches for getting your skates on or taking a break from the ice. We also enjoy the pizzeria with the view of the hockey rink. The food was good and service was quick. Skate rental was easy. I left 15min for checking in and getting skates – that was more than enough time. I also learned that though the default is figure skates, you can also request hockey skates for your rental, which made my son very happy. I've also visited the rink store in the past and appreciate the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff. Our group had a great time and we look forward to returning, soon!

Patrick is the best!! I was having such a difficult time finding figure skates that fit well due to my foot size and width but Patrick was super patient and understanding in trying on multiple brands and sizes with me. Two rinks, and very busy there for the competition weekend. Clean and easy facilities. Upstairs for seating and viewing, both sides have seating inside the rinks, too. Vendors popped in for the Potomac Memorial NQS competition. They also have a Slice Theory pizza shop attached that opens up a bit later in the day. Inside, also a Memorial to the lost AA5342 flight skating team members from the rink. May they rest in peace.

I had a phenomenal experience with all the staff members. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. My only issue is the actual flight time. If each flight is only about 60 seconds, it’s hard to justify driving all the way there and paying that price for only 1–2 minutes of actual flying. I really wish the packages included more flight time because everything else about the experience was great.

All in all, a great experience, however, I feel that over $100+ for 2 minutes is crazy considering I can do real skydiving for $100 and about 10min total time. But my daughter liked it so I can't complain too much

This is definitely a "do it at least once" kind of experience. I’ve driven past iFLY so many times and always wondered what it would be like, so I’m glad I finally tried it. That said, I probably wouldn’t do it again. I’m also not sure the video package was worth it. At least for me the footage didn’t turn out nearly as cute as I was hoping. 😆

I ate here with my wife for Valentine's Day. The food was good, nothing spectacular, although I did think the French dip was excellent. The service was slow, even given that it was a holiday. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. If you go during a busy time, plan on possibly parking in a garage as this shopping center is a nightmare.

My favorite spot in One Loudoun. The burger is known as one of the best in the area, they have great cocktail options and a varied selection of beer. The inside bar gets busy on nights that have live music but the outdoor terrace is great to catch a sunset with a drink in hand

Service was outstanding, had a good time hanging out however the food was not good. The tuna was very bland not much flavor and so was the farro bowl. I did enjoy my hot mocktail though it was very good. This might be a good place for drinks and bar food I just was not a fan of lunch.

I had a solo dinner at this restaurant since I am out of town for business and I will say service was AMAZING. Josh was excellent and very helpful. I had the Aloha martini and Pear cocktail. They both were delicious. For appetizer I had the nothing but crab dip. I was so good. I tried not to eat it all so I could have room for dinner and dessert. For dinner I enjoy the lamb chops. They were cooked and seasoned with perfection. I was stuck between the apple dessert and sweet potato flan. I went with the flan and it was so good. I couldnt eat it all because by this time I was stuffed. The manager throughout my time stopped by a few times to check in and I really appreciated that. He even gave his recommendations for dessert. If I am ever in town again I will definitely come here. The atmosphere was nice and conversational. The decor was very modern and chic. The menu had alot of great options which made decisions a little tough and I loved that. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wife and I split the ribeye french dip and the hideaway burger, a bougie big mac, and both were melt in your mouth delicious! The fries were flavorful without being overly seasoned. and very good as well. We had reservations at 7pm on a busy Saturday and the food came out in five minutes! We sat inside the bar area at the high tables and our server Noah moved us one table over so that we had a better view of the patio. He was also prompt and personable. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite breweries in Northern Virginia. Lived down the street from Lost Rhino for a few years and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite for me. Beer options are diverse and really good (love the New River and Faceplant) – typically carry 8-10 beers at a time, and there’s always something for everyone. Have some great seasonal brews too – always a fan of a Two a Daze during football season. Staff is also kind and welcoming to everyone and service is really good. Highly recommend stopping by for Music Bingo or Bring Your Own Vinyl (BYOV) night!

This place makes their own in-house root beer, and it is amazing! But what really stole the show was the wings and the service! These are probably the BEST wings I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and they had Halal as an option! Kudos to Fawwaz! His service, friendliness, and humility. Mike's wings! The place is clean, well run, and the staff puts a smile on your face! Throughly enjoyed our visit to this vibrant and popular brewery. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The decor is bright and colorful. The main room where you order beer and food has mostly community bar height tables of wood slabs. It was a great way to meet other people and on this visit we landed up having a fun and engaging conversation with a lovely couple across from us. Next to the main room is a arcade room with a broad selection of games and some tables. Several kids were there as their parents enjoyed a cold brew. The third room was blocked for a event but was spacious and would also be a good choice. There appeared to be a bit more smaller tables. The outdoor area is big with many tables. The parking is ample as it is in a business park. There is no cost for parking. The beer was excellent with our favorite being Dark Horse. The food menu was diverse. You order at the counter and it is delivered to where you are seated. We ordered the pretzel and chicken wings which were very good. The ambiance was bustling and welcoming wit guests of all ages. Dogs are welcome. They do have tasting flights. Great brewery, we highly recommend.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Aura Indian Food Paradise in Ashburn with my friends! What made the evening special was that even though I’m vegetarian and my friends are non-vegetarian, every one of us found dishes we absolutely loved. The food was rich in flavor, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. From flavorful curries and biryanis to perfectly made vegetarian dishes, everything tasted authentic with a modern touch. The ambiance was elegant, vibrant, and welcoming — perfect for family dinners, celebrations, and gatherings of both small and large groups. They even have a dedicated party room which makes it a great venue for special occasions and events. The lively atmosphere, beautiful interiors, and unique dining experience really make this place stand out. Another highlight was the bakery, café, and full bar setup, which gives the restaurant a complete modern dining feel. The hospitality was exceptional as well — the owner personally came to our table, spoke with us, and humbly asked how the food was. That warm and personal interaction made the experience even more memorable. Aura Indian Food Paradise truly offers more than just food — it delivers a complete dining experience with great taste, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We recently visited Aura Indian Food Paradise in Ashburn, Virginia, and even though we tried just one dish, it left a really great impression. We ordered the Vegetable Paneer Biryani in bucket size, and it was absolutely superb. The biryani was full of rich flavors, well-spiced, and cooked perfectly. The aroma and taste were exactly what you expect from a really good biryani, and we truly enjoyed every bite. Even though we didn’t try many items this time, the quality of this one dish already makes us want to come back. Next time we will definitely try their chicken biryani. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was great. Definitely worth a visit if you’re a biryani lover.

A modern, eclectic Indian restaurant serving up North and South Indian favorites along with some unique specialties. This is a fresh restaurant with a bright, glitzy interior paired with a bar and a pastry shop. A comfortable, celebratory vibe where you can relax while being served by friendly staff assisted by robots that bring the dishes out to the tables. A fun experience for the kids as well. They have a decent spread of interesting cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, mocktails, and juices. We got their Mango Martini and a Taj Mahal. A decent martini but can't wait to try some of their other cocktails next time. For the appetizers we ordered Drums of Heaven and Chicken Lollipop. Both tasted great. The Drums of Heaven is a bit on the spicy side. So much variety! Can't wait to try their Lahsuni chicken next time and the Gobi 65. Based on the two dishes we got today, I must say I'm looking forward to the next set of appetizers on my list. The classic Butter Chicken is what we opted for along with Paneer Tikka Masala. A bit of a cop out but also allows us to gauge the quality of a restaurant. These two are signature Indian preparations that can define the overall food quality of a restaurant. And, I'm pleased to say that we loved it. The Butter Chicken had a bit of texture to the sauce which is atypical but I think it enhanced it. The Paneer Tikka Masala didn't look color-wise as a Tikka Masala but it delivered. We paired it with garlic naan which was soft and tasty but not as fluffy as in other restaurants. The dishes came with basmati rice on side. We capped off our meal with a couple of desserts. The Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. I preferred the Gulab Jamun. The Rasmalai was a little underwhelming though. Our friendly server, Nish, offered us a complimentary slice of Pineapple cake. A nice gesture and it allowed us to sample their pastry. They have an assortment of pastries; worth a try. My only minor comment is that the large screen playing Bollywood songs in the restaurant detracts from the modern, classy vibe. It's somewhat distracting too. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing time at Aura and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back and try more of their drinks and dishes.

Kids aged 11 and 8 loved it. I think it about $35 for 2 hours or $50 for the whole day for each kid which i wouldn't pay, but we got a good deal on a summer pass for 2 hours a day for 3 months for $80. There are 4 or 5 good slides. 2 with minor jump at the end into a soft mat. The high ropes course is great but a little small and limited for all summer, but for 1 day or 2 to 3 hours it is plenty. They have cool video games spread around to make more money – $8 for the smallest photo booth i e ever seen. They also have about 20+ very unique climbing walls with varying degrees of difficulty. Adults can pay $20 for an hour in a massage chair or/and buy a can of beer or sit and relax or get some work done in several different areas of the "Park." Go at least 1 time if you got the $$ to spend.

We went to Up! Ultimate Adventure Park for a birthday party. Check-in took a little longer than expected, but it worked out. It was quite busy since it was a Sunday afternoon. It took about 10 minutes to get harnesses fitted for rock climbing. There were many activity options, including 36 themed climbing walls with various shapes and difficulty levels. They also had a ropes course & zipline about 15 feet high with different obstacles to walk across. The kids were secured to the safety rope the entire time. One of our kids tried it, got a little scared, and decided to come down, which was handled well by the staff. Our kids especially loved the suspended cargo net jungle gym and slick slides. We felt safe to let the kids run around without too much supervision. The birthday party room was small but workable. Adult guests had to stay outside due to limited space. The second floor had additional seating with sofas where adults could relax. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained overall.

Up! Has been our favorite new destination for our summer camps! The kids love all the clean and well maintained climbing walls, high ropes course, and slides! Also has fun activities for kids that don’t do great with heights. The staff is also very active, kind, and attentive, which is hard to find nowadays. Easy to book and set up, the party rooms are very clean and spacious too. Highly recommended if you’ve never been before!

This is one my kids favorite places. They spend hours exploring all of the different climbing walls. Each wall has a creative theme which keeps the kids interested in what they see as different challenges. The auto belay system means my kids can climb each wall safely on their own.

The Ashburn Recreation & Community Center stands out as a modern and well-designed facility, offering a comprehensive range of amenities for fitness and recreation. Its spacious basketball court and fully equipped fitness center, located on the second floor, cater to diverse athletic needs, while the adult pool provides a refreshing and well-maintained aquatic experience. The center also features a bright walking track, though its proximity to active courts may occasionally create noise.

While the family-friendly pool area includes engaging features like a splashpad and shallow play zone, the children’s pool remains limited in size and interactivity. The inclusion of a birthday party room and additional family-oriented spaces would further enhance its appeal. Overall, the center delivers a polished and functional environment, though some refinements could elevate its family-centric offerings to match its high standards.

The management is excellent – they truly work like a beehive, organized and dedicated. The basketball court is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped. The fitness center is also modern and complete, though its location on the second floor is not ideal; in case of injury or emergency, safe and quick assistance could be difficult. The adult pool is wonderful and fully equipped. However, the children’s pool is very small and lacks interactive features. The seating for parents is also uncomfortable – the benches are hard with wooden backs, which feels more like a penalty than a place to relax 😅. There is only one birthday party room, which feels limited for such a center. Overall, while the design inside and out is modern and impressive, the overall scale does not match the level of Loudoun County, which should be among the very best. I truly wish the children’s pool here could take inspiration from the Chantilly branch, which offers great activities and an engaging environment for kids. That would make this center not only modern in design but also more family-friendly and complete.

The Ashburn Rec Ctr is nice because it is new, however it has some issues that the other PRCS Rec Ctrs don’t. I love that the walking track is so light and bright but surrounding the basketball courts means it is VERY noisy and chaotic. My friend almost got hit by a volleyball while we were walking the track! Not cool. I prefer the quiet of Claude Moore Rec Center track and their more private showering facilities.

Brand new Aug 2025. This place is huge and amazing! Plenty of room to swim laps, play court sports like basketball and pickleball. Take the family at least 1 time to enjoy the pool area that has splashpad type fun and a large area that is only about 9 inches deep, a basketball hoop for shooting while in the water, and a lazy river. 3 sizes of life jackets are available for non swimmers to use. There is a large hot tub right next to the pool for 16 years and older. The locker rooms are very nice and there is a large family locker room with a dozen or so changing rooms and the same number of private bathrooms. The upper viewing areas are very to nice also. They have a huge selection of workout machines and free weights. There is a 3 lane track on the top level also. Parking is usually plentiful but might be tight on a swim meet day.

The New Ashburn Recreation Center is truly a world-class facility! From the moment you walk in, you can tell a tremendous amount of thought went into creating a space that’s clean, modern, and welcoming for all ages. The amenities are outstanding—spacious fitness areas, top-tier equipment, bright studios, and plenty of room even during peak hours. The highlight for me is the aquatic center. The pool is immaculate, beautifully designed, and perfect whether you’re swimming laps, relaxing, or bringing the family for some fun. Temperature, cleanliness, and lifeguard presence are all consistently excellent. The water play features and separate lanes make it easy for everyone to enjoy the space without feeling crowded. Staff members are friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there. The entire facility feels safe, organized, and extremely well-maintained. Whether you’re into fitness, recreation, or simply looking for a great community hub, the New Ashburn Rec Center exceeds expectations on every level. Highly recommend—Ashburn knocked it out of the park with this one!

ARCC is a wonderful gym. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, especially Angela, Rick, Taha and Caroline. Miss Kerin in Kid Kare is the absolute best. My kids would beg to go to the gym every morning. There is plenty of equipment upstairs and the massage room is a nice break after a workout. I loved attending the fitness classes, especially with Doreen and Juju! I definitely recommend this spot to moms who need a break and a great workout.

One of my favorite courses. The course itself is in great shape, considering the unprecedented cold, rough winter we’ve had, combined with the scorching heat we’ve experienced this summer. Love the variety of the different holes—perfect for golfers of all levels. And I cannot say enough about the helpful, friendly staff members, who truly treat you as if they’re glad that you’re playing there. An added bonus is the beautiful wildlife.

Great course. Very flat so easy to walk. That said, I’m a terrible golfer but there are some very forgiving holes to help out but several more that are challenging to help me get better. I hope.

Course is good. I do have some complaints. My SO joined me to ride along. I had to pay a cart fee just for her to in the cart with me. This was in addition to the one I had to pay to actually play. Got to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen at a course in all my years of playing. Other complaint is that we couldn't use the cart to pickup and drop off our clubs. Not the worst thing but also not a normal thing. I'll probably play here again to mix things up but will NOT be at the top of my list to choose from.

I start this review saying it has nothing to do with the course. Conditions are sub-par, not worth the price but I've seen worse. I had a bad experience with rude and disrespectful staff, constantly hounding to see ID to age verify to simply get a cart out. Complete joke and a disgrace, especially as somebody pinching time to try and get a round in. The starter was quick to accuse my twosome of trying to pay for nine and play eighteen, also a complete joke. Don't go here! I recommend South Riding for a better price, great staff and food, and superb conditions. Bad on this course, what used to be one of my favorites locally. Don't mind the 15 minute walk from the parking lot to the club.

Course was in good condition and fun. Staff was nice. Driving range is close to the clubhouse and has a separate pitching range. Would give 5 stars but no drink cart. For sure will be playing here more in the future.
