We booked two appointments a week ago and arranged our work schedules and daycare accordingly. When we arrived, we were simply told that the provider was not available today. I understand that people can become sick, that’s human nature but I don’t understand why there is a policy of not notifying patients by email if services cannot be provided. They mentioned that a voicemail was left, but I have checked twice and did not receive any message. Additionally, one of the front desk staff members was quite rude and stated that we don’t send emails. However, when it comes to check-in and billing, emails are sent without issue.

I only give 1 star because thats the lowest I'm able to give. Provider Ivey was very rude. Even snapped at her student. Horrible experience. I've been in nursing for 27 years 21+ for family practice. I would have never treated my patients this way. For a physical didn't touch me student touch abdomen and neck. Ivey got mad that I asked for a labcorp order. Also she does not understand referral process. It needs to be written for particular provider of patients choice. Asked why do I think I have htn which I've had for 24 years. It was controlled in office because Im on medication. Told me so many wrong things. I should have done research she barely has experience and not functional certified. I would nor my work treat patients like she did to me.

I recently had my physical checkup with a doctor at this clinic, and I want to say she was absolutely wonderful. Even though I don’t remember her name, she treated me with so much kindness and respect. She was patient, professional, and made me feel very comfortable during the whole visit. She explained everything clearly and listened to my concerns. I really appreciate her care and the way she handled everything. Thank you so much for the great service!

Kimberly "Kimmy" Olodun

Dr. James Lee had me in and out with such precision, care, and compassion. The way he was able to thoroughly explain my condition and how to provide holistic care, not just giving me a prescription for something and writing me off, just made me feel so valued and seen. His positive yet realistic, professional demeanor was refreshing. I look forward to my next appointment with him. I feel confident in the care that I received and my treatment plan. If you are looking for a doctor that can help you get to the ROOT cause of your condition, schedule an appointment with him. You’ll be glad you did.

Review regarding Dr. James J. Lee: I was in here for less than five minutes and felt very dismissed. I was experiencing vertigo and dizziness that was confirmed benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, and with that diagnosis the symptoms come and go. I told him I was experiencing serious symptoms two weeks ago, but can only schedule with him two weeks out. He said next time it comes up to try and ‘get lucky’ with scheduling and see him when the symptoms are there. I showed him a video of my eyes flicking while experiencing the dizziness, and only then did he seem to understand a bit, but repeated the same. I had been experiencing bppv for years and let him know I had been managing successfully at home with the epley maneuver — the only treatment for this — but due to how bad it was affecting my functionality, I decided to come in after being referred by my primary care doctor. Again, two weeks ago. I figured I would see him knowing there is not much for treatment, but to receive more information or to learn more. But I was dismissed, it was heavily implied I was doing the manuver the wrong way, and made to feel like I was wasting time. Dr. Lee does not have bedside manners, is condescending, and I feel scammed a little bit. Don’t go here, there’s other ENTs that will provide better care.

Dr. Lee made me feel very uncomfortable during my visit. When I asked questions about my condition, I felt dismissed and spoken to in a way that made me feel unintelligent rather than informed. The appointment felt extremely rushed — he spent most of the time typing, spoke only briefly, and left the room within a few minutes. I wasn’t given a real opportunity to ask follow-up questions or fully understand my situation. I left the office feeling confused, unsupported, and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and bedside manner.

I recently traveled over an hour from West Virginia to see Dr. Lee at ENT and Allergy Specialists of Virginia after reading the outstanding reviews online—and I can confidently say the trip was absolutely worth it. From the very first consultation, I knew I had found the right ENT specialist. During my initial visit for a deviated septum evaluation (septoplasty), I mentioned to Dr. Lee that I had been dealing with frequent nosebleeds. Without hesitation, he identified a problematic blood vessel and was able to cauterize it right there during the same appointment. The procedure was quick, precise, and immediately gave me confidence in his skill and expertise. We moved forward with scheduling a septoplasty combined with a bilateral turbinate reduction. On the day of surgery, Dr. Lee met us at the surgery center, walked me through everything, and before I knew it, I was waking up from anesthesia with both procedures successfully completed. The first few days of recovery weren’t exactly pleasant—as expected—but on day three, Dr. Lee removed the splints and packing, and the relief was incredible. Now, almost a week post-op, I can finally breathe properly through my nose for the first time in decades. After years of sinusitis, rhinitis, and countless disappointing experiences with ENT doctors in Maryland and West Virginia, the difference Dr. Lee has made is truly life‑changing. My experience with Dr. Lee was nothing short of exceptional. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care set a new standard for what an ENT experience should be. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you, Dr. Lee—outstanding job!

Dr. Vickie Lee was the most comforting kind hearted doctor I have ever met! After going through significant testing with my seven-year-old son through another allergist doctor in Lansdowne. I felt very uneasy with the way this practice ran, so I wanted to get a second opinion before further testing. I am so grateful that I listened to my gut instinct and so happy that we found Dr. Lee! She spent a lot of time with me and my son and explained it more In depth, not just to a grown-up, but also to a seven-year-old. He felt so much ease after this appointment and I greatly appreciate her for that!

Dr. Vickie K. Lee is an outstanding allergist! I took my little one to check for environmental allergies, just as I did with my older child, and the experience was exceptional from the start. Dr. Lee began our conversation by asking about my older child, who had tested positive for a mild dust allergy. This personal touch showed how much she genuinely cares about her patients and their families. She listened attentively to all my concerns—something every parent has—and asked specific, thoughtful questions that made me feel truly heard and reassured. The practice itself is amazing! It's inviting, and with beautiful artwork that makes the atmosphere calm and welcoming. The building has ample parking, and is conveniently located by Ashburn Village, which is full of restaurants, shops, and great places to explore. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and her practice to anyone seeking expert allergy care. She goes above and beyond, and I couldn't be happier with our experience.

My wife saw Dr. Lee for severe dizziness. He listened to her and then performed some maneuvers on her head. For the rest of the day, she felt terrible, but following that, she got better with every passing day. We liked his directness. We were able to speak frankly. We felt he was very competent. In 5 days, she was completely better. Everyone in the office was nice. Minimum wait to see the doctor.

Saw Dr Lee today for my septum. I had a surgery on my septum from another Dr office in the past in the area which went horrid. Their office was very rude and unprofessional. But Dr Lee was very nice listened to any concerns I had and broke down my options to be on the path of breathing. I saw a bit of negative reviews but I don't think it matches the Dr who I met. He was actually my second opinion because another office wanted me to do a 9/12k nose job. I have my surgery booked now. I think more grace needs to be given. He was extremely helpful, has so much knowledge and really got down to the point 10/10 recommend. ..will give update after surgery

I booked an appointment to see James lee because of sinus issues I was having. To say I will never go back is an understatement. During the course of the examination. He roughly pulled me back in the chair and then proceeded to tell me I had neck problems and snapped my neck to the right so hard I yelled at him. Instead of apologizing or stopping he did the same thing to the other side. He is not a chiropractor. I have been in pain ever since and now have to go to ER for help. I have no idea why he would do this. It was completely inappropriate and dangerous. I called his office and talked to the manager before writing this but no response. I am reporting him to the Virginia Medical Board. I will warn anyone I know to stay away from him and this practice. If I could have given less than one star I would have.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. James J. Lee, Otolaryngologist. My husband was extremely sick when we came to the appointment, yet the visit lasted no more than five minutes. About three of those minutes were spent searching for the CT scan results on the computer. My husband showed the doctor the medications he was currently taking, but Dr. Lee barely reviewed them and simply said everything was "okay." The appointment ended without any prescription, recommendations, or clear guidance on how to proceed with his care. We left feeling unheard, rushed, and concerned about the lack of attention given to my husband’s condition. A medical visit should provide reassurance, evaluation, and a plan for treatment — unfortunately, this was not our experience. Because of this, I cannot recommend Dr. Lee.

Dr Azad is amazing! By referral, desperately needing help as I was losing my hearing (already had hearing aids but was losing more ability, fast) and constantly on antibiotics for ear and sinus infections, I ended up one of her lucky patients. I probably ran her late for one of her other appointments. I was in pretty bad shape. My head hurt all the time and I was tired and kind of hopeless. I could barely hear her at my first visit. I cried. She cared. I’d seen 3 other specialists in the area and was just getting more antibiotics, then sick again when they were gone and repeat…It took a minute to get an appointment here, but it took 1 appointment for her to see my issues and make a plan. One year and 3 surgeries later, (sinus- left ear and right ear)I’ve not been sick since I met Dr Azad, I no longer need hearing aids, and I feel good. I’d do it again. Thank you Dr. A

I initially liked this place and thought it was well worth the hour plus wait for each appointment. It all changed fairly quickly. In one visit, she was scraping at something near my ruptured ear drum and after several yelps and sobbing uncontrollably, she stopped after multiple requests. I had to ask THREE times for her to stop. I never went back to her without a family member present after that. Few months later, I have surgery. Surgery didn’t go as expected and I’m deaf now. Any time I came to her with issues, questions, or concerns after surgery, she became dismissive and told me to get a psychiatrist. She would not even let me finish sentences at this point. She truly made an already miserable time, even worse somehow. It got to the point where my body started unconsciously trembling once I hit the elevator to go up to the office. How she treated me after surgery will forever stay with me. What a disgusting human being.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your office. Earlier this year, I had nose surgery, and later came in for my follow-up appointment. I arrived about 10 minutes early, but waited for over an hour with no update. When I asked the receptionist about the delay, she said she didn’t know. Since I had to return to work, I eventually had to leave. Recently, I called to schedule another appointment with the same doctor because I’ve been having heavy bleeding from my nose again. I was told that I could not be seen because I was upset and left during my previous visit. I explained my medical situation and requested an appointment, but my request was still denied. This experience was very upsetting — not only because it involved a post-surgery issue, but because it showed a lack of compassion toward a patient genuinely in need of care. There is no shortage of doctors around; I can always go elsewhere. But what truly hurts is seeing how humanity and empathy seem to be fading in healthcare. It may not matter to your office to lose one patient, but it has deeply affected my trust, and I will not return or recommend this clinic to others. I hope this feedback encourages reflection on how patients are treated — because sometimes, kindness and understanding mean more than

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Azad saved my life. I drove 8 hours to see her and arrived at her office as an utterly broken person who could not find a doctor to help me. She treated me with nothing but respect and believed in me and my many hours of research and interpretation of my symptoms, when so many other ENTs dismissed me as having "anxiety" and thought that I was being overly dramatic/crazy." She walked with me through literal hell, across two years and two surgeries, the second of which truly gave me my life back. A life I thought I had lost forever. It took a long time to physically recover and even longer to emotionally recover from the injury I sustained, but I made it by the grace of God, the support of family and friends, and the talent, knowledge, and empathy of this amazing surgeon and human being. I would not be here writing this review today writing this long-overdue review had she not helped me, and I remember what she did for me with such gratitude every day. The world needs more people like Roya Azadarmaki. A lot of reviewers take issue with the wait time. I’d set up camp and wait 3 days in the office if I needed to. Seriously. Her staff has always treated me with kindness and I felt valued and heard as a patient. She even met my kiddos and helped my son who developed an ear infection during one of my visits. On behalf of myself, my husband who has his wife back and my sons who have their mom back too, THANK YOU for everything you do. We are forever grateful!!

Dr. Azadarmaky is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. Only 3 stars due to wait time beyond appointment time. The two appointments I've had I've waited an hour to an hour and 15 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen. While I understand there may be circumstances causing this, this should be communicated to patients when scheduling appointments so the expectation is set. Felt very rushed. Did not listen to my concerns about my 3 year old. He kept telling me my son did not have a rash as though I (his mother) would not know what a full body rash looks like on my child. Family has been going here for a few years for their allergy shots. Just walking into the door after your 2nd or 3rd visit, the team automatically checks you in without needing your name. Which is a feat in itself since they are always PACKED with people. Great team – would highly recommend.

The best in the area!! Dr.Yoon and his staff are wonderful. My first visit was in January, my son was very sick, they gave me an argument appointment, once I arrived they let me in right away, the doctor spent so much time with my son, he had so much patience, respect, and love . I came from the previous practice who diagnosed him wrong, and let my son take so much antibiotic and amoxicillin with no need. Dr. Yoon let me stoped all these medications and started the right thing. Easy to reach out to the doctor and the staff always welcome you. Thanks!!

Dr. Naomi Will provided exceptional care for my child. She demonstrated kindness and patience, ensuring my child felt at ease throughout the visit. All necessary tests were completed promptly and comprehensively, and the results were explained immediately. She graciously addressed all of our inquiries without any sense of haste. Her professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate approach were truly remarkable. We had a wonderful experience and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a dedicated and expert ENT specialist. We are very grateful for the excellent care provided to my child.

I had a scheduled appointment on March 5, 2026 after experiencing a head trauma with Dr. Naomi Will at Virginia Head and Neck Surgeons in Sterling. From a patient-care perspective, the visit itself was pleasant. Dr. Will was kind, friendly, and welcoming, and the office staff made the check-in process smooth and comfortable. The overall interaction felt professional and efficient. However, I was surprised and disappointed when I later received a bill for $194 for what was approximately a 10-minute visit. The appointment mainly involved reviewing what had already been evaluated in the emergency room and confirming that my nose was not broken. Given that I have insurance with strong coverage, I did not expect such a high out-of-pocket cost for a very brief consultation. While the medical staff were courteous and the visit was handled promptly, the billing aspect left me feeling frustrated. Transparency around expected costs for short specialist visits would be very helpful for patients in similar situations. Overall, the experience was positive in terms of care and professionalism, but the unexpected expense is the reason I am adjusting my review to three stars.

I brought my son in today, Friday (4/25) for an appointment with Ambrosia Santana, PA regarding his recurring ear infection, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Throughout the visit, she spoke to us in a manner that felt dismissive and unnecessarily condescending. Her tone was consistently negative, creating an environment that felt more adversarial than supportive. It was an off‑putting encounter, especially in a moment when compassion and clarity were needed most. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to seek care from a different provider if possible. The entire experience made me question the medical advice given.

This practice is highly unprofessional. We were given the wrong offices information on an appt card and instead of apologizing or clearing the confusion, they brushed off the concern. Later on, when we went to the office that was on the card they gave us, that other practice told us we share an office with this practice but they gave you our card. Highly highly unacceptable. It created so much confusion and we are lucky we were still able to be seen for my mom’s hearing test. It made us look like we were irresponsible where in reality this practice does not know what they are doing. For future ENT needs, we will not be coming here again.

Dr. Will is great, she was the 2nd ENT Doctor we saw after having an bad experience at an office in Fairfax. Dr. Will was kind and addressed all the concerns my wife had and was great through the entire process of our son and getting the ear tubes.

I truly appreciate the help I received from Jaster Francis, PA and Dr Parasaran and the team of nurses and support staff. Erin was the first voice of love and support I received and I am so grateful and thankful. They all gave such kindness and concern to me. When I called for follow up, Erin took the time to listen and offered the support and help that I needed. The treatment plan changed and they explained everything and got back to me promptly. I am so glad grateful that a great care medical team is here and available.

I am not sure why many say the front desk staff in this office are rude. I have seen Dr. Para a few times with me seeing him last year, however, I have also seen him years ago and so have my husband and children. My father recently saw Dr. Para as well and I don't ever recall having a bad experience with the doctor or front desk. The front desk have always been pleasant. The last time I went, it was a bit of wait, longer than expected, but Dr. Para is a good doctor, so it does not surprise me with the wait time and the amount of people that do come to this office.

I found the front desk staff and doctors to be friendly and caring. Jasper Francis, PA was especially helpful and took the time to answer all my many questions. Unfortunately my medical issue caused me to cut a long planned vacation short. Jasper kindly took the time to write a letter for me in hopes of obtaining a refund for the canceled portion of my trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Advanced ENT Specialists.

I have trouble with one ear’s wax buildup & it causes so many problems especially when flying. I made an appointment to get my ears checked and cleaned before a flight I have in 2 days – and I showed up late! The staff was able to squeeze me in to see Jasper – who can do the wax removal procedure without pain. I’m so impressed with this group. I haven’t left the parking lot – because this review is so important to me and I hope it is to you.
