Brandon C. Is such a great tech and representative for PMSI! Generally most of the techs have had been great to do our services. He always makes sure he does what he can to address whatever we have going on. We are on quarterly service plan but if anything comes up, we can contact PMSI and they will send him out in a timely manner. No one can keep all bugs and critters gone but we can tell they do a great service, don't cheap out on product, and have some caring workers. Our pups even get some love from Brandon when he comes by.

We have been using PMSI for over a year and half now and cannot recommend their services enough. They are extremely accommodating to your schedule with their quarterly visits (even when you need to reschedule last minute). They send email reminders before visits and come out in between for FREE warranty visits if you notice any issues in the meantime. Greg has been our technician and he truly feels like a family friend at this point. He’s so kind and caring to our family and extremely diligent in his work. You can’t go wrong with PMSI!!

Megan has been servicing our home for almost 2 years. She is always timely, professional, and friendly. I love that PMSI sends the same person to our house every time so the technician knows the property and where things are located. We have had 3 different pest control companies over the years and PMSI is the best! They are also easy to schedule and customer service is great.

I appreciate the service, but the 4 red reflective posts on both sides of my driveway are not for you to run over. You are lucky you didn't puncture your tire because they are staked down with rod iron posts. You broke one of my posts and ran tracks into my yard, which is soft and wet. Posts are really there for a reason.

Ghosted after a call in to unsubscribe for subpar service. Called the tech support and it was an office in Asia somewhere that wanted to charge me anyway after calling to cancel. They couldn’t get dates right, servicing was bad, customer service was a joke. Steer clear. They give sob stories of protecting your home from bugs, but they’re truly just bugs as a company. If you must pick use EcoShield. Much better and honest. The Alpine company blocked me and tried to use my card anyway after subpar service and customer service! I can’t contact anyone in their entire network. Had to take up business with my credit card company to get things rectified!

I've used aptive for about a two years now, I truly enjoy that the pesticide is indeed effective. The way that it works isnt my favorite but I can understand why the need to bait the bugs to eat it to then take it to their nest, but during that first week HAVE MERCY I see so many before they disappear. What I do not enjoy is that the time window to come is so long and almost impossible to arrange it to get the inside sprayed, so if everyone works then take half the day off to make sure you can get the inside sprayed because its a 4 hour window. They do take pictures and videos while the spraying is happening and I LOVE that, plus the gentlemen are always nice and polite.

On June 2, Aptive technician James serviced both the inside and outside of my home, treating for mosquitoes, ticks, potential outdoor rats, ants, spiders, and a variety of other pests. He was by far the best technician I’ve experienced. James was incredibly thorough as he walked the entire perimeter of my property with me, discussing the necessary treatments, then carefully treated the interior while clearly explaining what he was doing and why. He also provided a detailed report with photographs of the areas he treated. James was not only highly professional and competent, but also personable and patient, answering all of my questions. I was on the fence about whether to continue with Aptive beyond my contract, but after this outstanding service, I’ve decided to stay with the company. I recommend James without any hesitation.

Overall good experience. The guys that do the treatments are great. They are professional and answer my concerns fully. Parker, who came Monday and all the techs who have come previously work quickly and thoroughly.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Communication I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication I have received from this company. Appointment have been changed without properly notifying me, and I have had to reach out multiple times just to get basic answers, often with no response. On August 21, I was told that a manager would contact me regarding my concerns. I was also reviewing my service contract and noticed that it did not clearly detail the specific services that would be included. I requested that the contract be corrected before I signed it. Instead of receiving a timely response, I had to follow up again on August 25, nearly a week later. At that time, I was told the manager was unavailable and that a supervisor would contact me instead. Today is September 2, and I still have not received a single call from either the manager or supervisor. The lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. If a customer is told that someone will call them, I expect that commitment to be honored. Having to repeatedly chase the company for answers is frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, my pest problem is now worse than it was before this company began servicing my property. I expected the issue to improve with professional treatment, not get worse while I am also struggling to get anyone to address my concerns. Overall, the customer service has been extremely poor, communication has been inconsistent, and there has been very little accountability or follow-through. I would strongly encourage management to improve their communication with customers and, more importantly, actually follow up when they promise that someone will call. 09/04 – UPDATE (responding to owner Alexis) – Honestly, why should I have to send an email with my address when I already have an account with your company under my name as it is shown here? You should be able to locate my account using my name and review the history of my requests, calls, and previous communications. I have already contacted your company multiple times regarding these concerns. I shouldn’t have to keep repeating myself or provide information that should already be associated with my account just to get someone to review an issue that has been ongoing since August 21. At this point, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication, follow-through, and customer service I have received. I have been told multiple times that someone would contact me, and no one has followed up. Meanwhile, my pest issue has gotten worse. Unfortunately, I would rather take my business elsewhere than continue trying to get a response from a company that has been this difficult to communicate with. I hope that future customers do not have to experience the same level of frustration, lack of communication, and lack of follow-through that I have experienced.

I had an excellent experience with PestNow, especially thanks to Mahmoud. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what he was doing, answered all of my questions, and made sure the treatment was done carefully and effectively. Morgan from Petti Pest Control didn’t just spray my basement… he answered a call to battle. For weeks, a tiny but absolutely vicious spider queen had claimed dominion over the depths of my basement. Now, to be fair, she wasn’t very big — but what she lacked in size, she made up for in pure evil. This tiny orange menace had apparently been ambushing and devouring wolf spiders THREE TIMES her size like some kind of eight-legged serial killer. Her web looked less like a spiderweb and more like a warning to others. Enter Morgan. Calm. Professional. Unshaken by the nightmare scene unfolding before him. While I was mentally preparing to surrender the entire basement and list the house "as-is," Morgan stepped into the arachnid thunderdome armed only with pest control supplies and courage. He sprayed the basement, eliminated the spider tyrant with precision, and restored balance to the ecosystem. Somewhere out there, the wolf spider community is finally at peace. 10/10 experience with Petti Pest Control. If Morgan shows up at your house, just know the forces of darkness picked the wrong basement.

For a first time customer I'm thoroughly impressed. Not to mention i called 3 places before them and they had the best deal. The yearly plan cannot be beat. They removed a hornets nest from the second floor window. Chris did. He was super prepared and professional. We're truly grateful to be journey free now. Not just there but the entire yard had an issue. I cut bushes later in the day and no hornets. Yay!!!! I'm now an active customer. Thank you Chris!!

I've been with Aptive since 2019, and for the first few years they were great: professional, responsive, honest, and always on time. Unfortunately, since last year the service has gone downhill dramatically. They now provide a ridiculous 12-hour service window (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), rarely call ahead, and regularly cancel appointments. My last three scheduled treatments were canceled the morning of the appointment after I had already taken time off work and stayed home waiting for them. Three times in a row. The billing issues have been just as frustrating. Last year Aptive mistakenly charged my account every two months instead of quarterly. When I noticed, they acknowledged the mistake, refunded the overcharges, and apologized. This year, the exact same thing happened again. After years as a customer, I've lost confidence in this company. Poor scheduling, repeated cancellations, and recurring billing errors have made the service unreliable and frustrating. I can no longer recommend Aptive to anyone considering a pest control provider

I would not recommend Aptive based on my experience. I was almost pressured into signing up at my door for what I believed was a one-time mosquito treatment. It later turned out that I had been enrolled in a premium service plan instead. The problems started immediately. No one showed up for the secpnd scheduled service, and I had to make multiple phone calls to find out what happened. I was also charged more than the amount I had originally agreed to. Several appointments had to be rescheduled, which was frustrating. When the technician finally came for the second service, he spent less than 15 minutes on my property, yet I was charged $115 instead of the agreed $85. Which for the time spend is ridiculous. He did not even touch the mosquito traps in the back. To make matters worse, I later discovered there is a $200 early cancellation fee if you want to end the service before the contract expires. Overall, the experience felt misleading from the initial sales process through billing and service quality. I expected much better communication, transparency, and value for the price.

Excellent service! Wonderful proactive communication and follow-through. The service technician was a pro and very personable. I felt absolutely comfortable with him in my home to treat all of my windows, and he identified issues with wasps outside and took care of them so quickly. I loved the follow-up with pictures of services that were provided that day. I highly recommend this company. They are total professionals, incredibly knowledgeable, and lots of value for the money. Bill was kind and professional. He does good detailed work and doesn’t miss anything even down to cleaning up the area worked on to look better than it did before he got there. I was afraid that areas drilled would remain and be unsightly, but the work sites are very clean and neat. You can barely tell anything was done after the sealed areas dried.

Among other companies’ inspectors, Orkin’s Danyul showed the most professional and detailed inspection, and he is the only one who found the cause of the problem. He was very responsive and addressed all our questions satisfactorily. The installation schedule was quick and professionally executed by Bill. Overall Orkin was the most professional and skilled out of all the other companies that we dealt with. Thank you, Danyul and Bill.

Orkin used to be good. Now, they refuse to provide ant traps. They want to just leave puddles of pesticides open and exposed in a house that has a toddler. That’s not okay. After over a year of issues getting traps, this year they completely refuse to provide any traps at all claiming it’s a supply chain issue. They additionally will not credit me with the cost of me having to buy my own traps. After 5 months of actively complaining to Orkin about having ants in my house, Justin , the branch manager who has only spoken to me a couple times though he said he would follow up, will not talk to me AND still refuses to provide any traps or credits for sucky service and a complete inability to get rid of our indoor ants when we have never had an issue as long as we have the traps. I have used orkin for over 20 years in multiple states. This is the first time I’ve ever had an experience like this. I am severely disappointed and will likely finally give up and cancel services soon. They also haven’t been sending our normal guy Shaun Harris who is fantastic and the only reason why we have stayed so long. Getting rid of pests is the ONLY REASON we pay Orkin for services, and they are failing miserably. Thumbs down 😕. Zero stars.

A young black guy was my inspector. His name started with a D. I had a terrible experience. The technician showed up late, barely explained anything, and the treatment didn’t even solve the problem. I’m still seeing the same pests days later. For the price they charge, I expected way better results and professionalism. Definitely not worth it.

The Orkin Ashburn VA Branch has an awesome team! One phone call and a short amount of time on the same day is all it took for an Orkin Pro to arrive to my property to exterminate a rather large hornet nest, a couple of wasp nests, and some spider webs. Charlie, from Veteran Pest and Wildlife, took great care of us. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough, and took extra measures, not only checking my roof for any new squirrel activity (damage to our roof from squirrel nesting last year), but also checking my Tesla Solar panel critter guards and taking pictures, taking steps to prevent any potential bird nesting under one of the soffits, and walking around my house to explain several other things regarding my cedar wood and carpenter bees, among other things. From the phone experience of setting up the initial appointment to the actual visit, their service was on point. As a retired Army family, we especially appreciate supporting a veteran-owned business, and we love that they deliver that hometown feel alongside genuine expertise. I also didn't realize they offer regular pest control services too, so we'll be canceling our current one and switching over to them once our contract ends this fall.

Charlie is the MOST knowledgeable guy ever when it comes to any animal or bug topic. He stopped our mouse issues and he even correctly identified the fact that we had wasps and NOT yellow jackets. two other companies, that we got for 2nd and 3rd opinions, before Charlie got to have his say so, said they were yellow jackets but Charlie clarified they are only a similar looking wasp! I went on line and verified his information with pictures and details. Great job, this man is honest and truly cares.

I was headed into work traveling south on Fairfax County Parkway when one of their employees cut me off in the construction zone just south of I-66. He came up on the left as the lane was collapsing and proceeded to drive erratically cutting me off and causing me to slam on my brakes to avoid a rear end collision. The driver then proceeded to speed up in excess of 70 MPH to avoid me passing him. He continued to block my traveling as I switched between lanes. Then he exited at Braddock Road and proceeded to give me the lone middle finger from his left hand. The driver is a middle-aged, bald, heavy set white male with a goatee wearing sunglasses. I did call his work and spoke to Chrissy (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and explained to her the situation. She was professional and courteous. I sincerely expect management to address this issue as I myself, am a veteran. I wasn't in the wrong, he was.

I had a great experience with Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services. Enrique was the technician who handled the service, and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. The job involved removing squirrels from the attic, and he handled it exceptionally well. He took the time to explain every detail clearly, which I really appreciated, and made sure I understood exactly what was going on and how everything would be handled. His work was extremely thorough and professional, and you can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right. He also showed great care for the wildlife, focusing on safe removal without harming the animals.
