I love this store. It has almost everything you need for your home, project, gardening, etc. They have such a large variety of items, you could be in this store forever just looking at everything. I do furniture refinishing and they always have what I need to complete my projects. The staff is so helpful when I have a question and eager to assist. There is a restroom in the back of the store that is large enough for wheel chair access.

I’ve been to many Home Depot stores over the years, but the Ashburn location is by far one of the best. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. When you ask a question, they don’t just point you in the right direction, they take the time to understand your project and make sure you’re choosing the right items. Today I went in to buy a refrigerator for our garage, which I thought would be a simple task. Debi, from the appliance section, who is also a U.S. veteran, assisted me and explained exactly what a garage-ready refrigerator is, which brands are reliable, and walked me through the warranty, delivery, and other important details. She made the whole experience easy and actually enjoyable. She also helped me find the other items I needed. I just wanted to give a big shout-out to Debi and the entire team at Home Depot in Ashburn. Keep up the great work! 👏

This Home Depot is clean, well-stocked, and organized, which makes shopping convenient and efficient since items are easy to locate. However, while I noticed associates greeting and assisting other shoppers nearby, I was not acknowledged at all, which left me feeling overlooked and less valued as a customer. Consistent customer service would make the experience much better.

Today I rented equipment from the Home Depot Tool Rental in Ashburn, and I had an excellent experience thanks to Aran. Even though he was clearly short-staffed and handling multiple customers, he still took the time to work with me one-on-one and made sure I fully understood everything. Aran was extremely patient and thorough in explaining how to use the equipment, especially when it came to safety. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure I was comfortable and confident before leaving. That level of attention and care is rare, especially when someone is busy. What really stood out was his professionalism and willingness to help despite the workload. He stayed calm, answered all my questions clearly, and made himself available if I needed help later. That kind of customer service makes a big difference. Overall, this was a 5-star experience. Aran is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond for customers. I would absolutely recommend renting from this location because of him.

This place has always been consistently good in the 15+ years I’ve lived in the area. Keep up the good work. I also had a good experience recently with their 3rd party storm door installer, RFI. I will give a review on that separately, but the arrangement for storm door setup and purchase went very well at this HD. Good job!

I was in on Saturday morning, 12/13/25. Tre was the only one working at the store with about 4 ppl in front of me. Tre was an amazing "army of one"! He took care of every single person so kindly and patiently that I was so amazed to find a young man like him these days. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Extremely impressed at Tre’s work ethic👍🏼

I visited this location because I needed to color match paint so I could do touchups on my walls. Kimberly was friendly and knowledgeable, and she was able to do the color match and then mix up a can of paint for me all in one visit. The process was very smooth and the paint matches my walls exactly!!

The manager was so friendly and helpful fixing the paint colors for me to match 15 year paint color in the house. He helped answer many of my questions. Great customer service.

I’m not going to say what I think about Sherwin-Williams quality of products because I would be stating the obvious. However, I’ll speak about my customer service experience here at this particular store and what wonderful and caring people work here, specifically Gandi (I apologize if I misspelled!). I screwed up and bought the wrong color in 5 gallons. Knowing they can’t take back the mixed paint I went back to store hoping I would get some help…. I gotta tell you this dude went above and beyond to help us. He tried everything he could and we finally left the store happily with a very fair situation. We need more people like Gandi in every business! PS: I know!! pictures have nothing to do with the review 😂

Excellent service and expert advice! We stopped in to grab some paint and noticed the young man Mario was working all alone on a Saturday. Nonetheless, he was efficient, pleasant and really helped us choose the right type of paint for our project. He even carried our purchases to our vehicle in 90 degree plus weather with a line of customers. Now that is excellent service. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much!

Mine was a 3-yr long project. Nova Stone at Belmont, fulfilled all of my stone requirements. Each and every customer representative has been very helpful and knowledgeable. I especially engaged with Ximena and Alexi. She was always prompt with texting, sending attachments of sample stones, explaining about the difference between the varieties available and educating on what stone to be used for which area of the house; fireplace, patio, pathway or ramps. I bought over 50 palettes of stone/pavers. During my multiple visits, each one has been very patient, and absolutely professional. They never make you feel "Oh there’s she again". In fact, I was running late on my stones and the earliest delivery from New Jersey was 7-10 days; Ximena worked diligently and ensured it was delivered within three days. I would highly recommend Nova Stone especially for Northern Virginia; it’s easy access, with a plethora of choices for your stone needs, right in your backyard.

I have been working with Alexi at the Ashburn, VA branch. He has been exceptional and continues to provide excellent customer service. The entire team at this company has been nothing but awesome to work with. Victor, from the Manassas branch, was great to work with when Alexi was on vacation. The managers are quick to respond and address issues when they arise, and the delivery gentleman is so great! I highly highly recommend this company. Tart Lumber renovated our bathrooms and kitchen and did a spectacular job! We worked with Matt and Jason and they gave us such great advice from the original design plan through completion. We could not be happier with the end result! I have included some before and afters to highlight the great work that was done. Highly reccommend.

I spent a lot of time looking for an extremely specific door. I received quotes from some major distributers but none of them were quite right and I would have had to settle. Tart Lumber was recommended by a friend and they were worth every penny spent. Not only did Aimee Kitchen take the time to find my 8 foot double-sliding French doors, she found it at 1/3 of the expected price. I was so shocked by the price, I wanted to see images of the door. Since the door was special order, Aimee was able to get a drawing (to specs). My door arrived three week early and my project is now complete. Mind you….Tart Lumbar is 40 miles from my home, and all of this was done over the phone and via email during a pandemic. Aimee communicated with me and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Tart Lumber is now my vendor of choice and I will drive the 40 miles to continue to do business with them.

I have been a Tart customer for over three decades. I always find what I need here and get great advice. More recently, I have used the custom shop and they provide precise and outstanding quality woodworking and materials. I would not go anywhere else, plus the staff like Shannon, are extremely friendly and competent–using tools such as computer-aided cutting plans. As many places like these have faded and been replaced by big box stores, I am glad they are still going strong and provide a great service to homeowners and commercial customers.

Looking to replace deck floor with Trex and went to the "big" stores and wasn’t able to get help. Walked into Tart and Debbie was able to help pick out style in their newly renovated deck showroom and get material ordered same day. Tart delivered materials 2 days later. Delivery charge was reasonable and deck came together well. Highly recommend Debbie Gibson and the Tart Lumber team.

In January we needed to replace the solid door to our laundry/AC utility room in order to pass inspection. The requirement was to have a door with ventilation slots so the system can properly breathe. We first tried Lowe’s and Home Depot, but those types of doors aren’t readily available and usually need to be customized, so we were referred to TART. My husband went to the store and explained exactly what we needed. Shannon Mundy was the associate assisting him. She provided a brochure, my husband brought it home, and after reviewing the options together we quickly decided which door we wanted and placed the order. Unfortunately, the communication throughout the process was very frustrating. My husband had to email and call multiple times just to try to confirm whether the order had been processed. It was extremely difficult to get a response, and we rarely received calls or emails back. As time went on, we had no clear updates on the status of the order. Now it’s March 9, and we still hadn’t heard anything. My husband called again yesterday and only then were we told that the door had already arrived. The timeline was also much longer than what was originally suggested, so the lack of communication made the entire process unnecessarily stressful. That said, when I personally went to pick up the door today, the experience was very different. Linda (I believe, sitting all the way to the right) greeted me right away and was extremely friendly, positive, and helpful. She helped me find what I was looking for, then found the order, provided the receipt, and helped coordinate everything. Another gentleman also helped fully load the door into my car, which I truly appreciated. This place clearly has a great team and offers products that are difficult to find elsewhere. Because of the helpful staff during pickup and the fact that they had exactly what we needed, I’m giving four stars. However, the communication during the ordering process could definitely be improved, as it made what should have been a simple purchase much more frustrating than necessary.

Our building contractor used this supplier, and we had a terrible experience on multiple occasions. First, we had a picture window that, when it arrived, was so poorly constructed the frame covered almost as much area as the glass. The next time, our contractor used them for double patio doors. It took them four attempts to deliver the doors we asked for, and when the doors with the correct specs finally arrived, the quality was so poor that our contractor struggled to install them. Currently, I’m sure a stiff breeze will blow them down. During this entire time, communication with Lansing was very poor, and they still owe us money because they charged more for a door they measured wrong, then just delivered the smaller door with no refund. I would steer clear because they themselves are just reselling, and I doubt they even know how poor the quality of their products actually is.

Tim Bailey provided not only professional and prompt delivery of six windows, he also was kind to help me push my car (with a dead battery) out of the garage to make room for the delivery! Savannah, the manager was gracious in listening to my detailed appreciation for the great customer service.

A very good distributor I've been dealing with for many years. Fast, reliable, and we'll priced for windows, doors, siding, gutters and trim. Also decking. One key feature is custom windows in less than 2 weeks, measured to the 1/8". Update: Things have changed. New personnel. My go-to for everything left. Newbies are spotty and pandemic supply chain issues has changed window availability from less than 2 weeks to about 4 months. Update 9/24/22. Things getting back to normal. The "new guy" is now responsive with correct answers. Windows are down to about a month. I can live with that.

Lansing offers timely responses, an ability to import products from other branches, and organizational professionalism has made me a fan to stay away from other suppliers, as long as we can keep winning with Lansing at the highest honors. I have a lot on my plate as the director of soon to be two states MD and VA, but this squad at Lansing has really helped to ease the work load by making me feel happy about who and where I do business with! All of the staff is great to work with and the wait times for rush orders or missing parts is less time than other places that claim it is as easy as "abc" Dan Hardy is running one heck of an operation & I am proud to work on becoming one of the top producers of 2025 by learning about more products to create even more volume in the years to come. Here comes the boom! 🍿

I had the front door, porch, and exterior trim repainted. They were careful around the hardware and landscaping and kept the area tidy. The new paint really improved the look of the entrance.

Earl and Caden were incredibly helpful in the rental section! They went above and beyond in helping me and I genuinely appreciate their help!

I went to the Home Depot Garden Center on 8/25/25, wow, I couldn’t believe how many plants and shrubs they had. I took a lot of photos to show others the variety. The employee was very helpful. The employee said that they have items year round.

Very little variety in terms of trees and shrubs. Most of these are invasive, few to no native species.

It's exactly what you'd expect. Great prices on huge tropical plants that have been abused from the moment they left the greenhouse. Overwatered, damaged, possible pests. I've gotten good stuff here but I didn't feel good about it.

I am a contractor in NOVA, I would not recommend this company to anyone! We are now in week 12 of issues with a very simple cabinet order. We received the replacement order and to our surprise there were NO doors and NO drawers on the replacements but yet they were shipped separately…. guess they expect their clients to build all in the field, just like Ikea cabinets but paying 3x's as much. Oh, but here is the best part… they didn't send any hardware! No MidSouth I will not be using you again and I will definitely not refer any clients your way as our headache through this process is enough for a lifetime.

I have renovated a few kitchens and bathrooms over the past couple years and Mid South Building supply has become my cabinet source of choice. I have also referred several customers and they have been very satisfied. The design skills and product line knowledge of Emily Preisendanz – Ashburn Showroom Manager & Kitchen Designer has been critical to customer satisfaction. I’m sure I’ll return for my next project.

Worst contractor experience we’ve had. Low quality. No attention to detail. They damaged our furniture, floors and counters when coming to fix their countless cabinet issues

Really should be 1.5 stars or less. Rude, idiotic, reckless drivers on the road, and the people are inside are ignorant and disrespectful. Do not deal with these people, they have no concept of professionalism in business.
