We can’t recommend Pack Place K9 enough! Our Border Collie puppy, Linkin, has endless energy and a very strong personality. Before training, he was definitely running the house, and we knew we needed someone with real experience who could help us understand how to properly train such an intelligent, high-energy breed. From the moment we met Jimmy, we knew Linkin was in great hands. Jimmy is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. Linkin absolutely loved going to training, and it was obvious he enjoyed every session. One thing we especially appreciated was the communication. Jimmy kept us updated every step of the way with videos, photos, and even personal phone calls to explain Linkin’s progress and what we needed to continue working on at home. It gave us so much confidence and made us feel like we were truly part of the training process. The progress Linkin has made has been amazing, and we now have the tools and confidence to continue building on everything he learned. The lead trainer, Jimmy, is a miracle worker. But not only that, he teaches you step by step through instructional videos that he makes every day he spends with your dog, how to get the same great positive results in your own home. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, hard working, and reliable. He took a reactive dog and inspired her to feel calm around other dogs. Jimmy understands dogs and is able to earn their trust and cooperation quickly. You can trust him to deliver exceptionally well!

I would like to start with do not hesitate to trust them in the process and have Jimmy trained your dog!. I remember the first day I walked with my dog having no control over him. Jimmy really listen to my needs and the dog as well. I think the price! Is great and he has giving my dog such a great foundation of commands where I can continue with his training and fulfillment. He gave me the tools to continue where he has giving my dog and our family a chance to enjoy our dog at home and walks!. He will trained you as well and make sure you are prepared to take over!. I wish I could give Pack Place K9 1,000 gold stars!!! My husband and I were referred to Jimmy at Pack Place K9 and we cannot say enough good things about this place and Jimmy!!! We were on the fence about taking our 4 month old aussiepoo puppy to petco or spending thousands of dollars on police-like training(which she really doesnt need), we couldnt find a middle ground until our friend told us about Jimmy at Pack Place K9! Jimmy walks you through the psychology of dogs and trains YOU so you can continue to see growth even after the program. We enrolled her in to the puppy training program which was 3 weeks(2 full days/week), we dropped her off according to her morning routine and were able to pick her up after our work day. Jimmy is super thorough and communicates everything he does. I loved that he checked in every day while she was there to send pics/videos of her progress/socializing with other dogs. She is much more comfortable/confident around other dogs since she gets neutral supervised hangout time with other dogs in the program/passed the program. Which is much better than the experiences she’s had at dog parks with misbehaved dogs/inattentive owners. We have seen a huge improvement in not only her behavior (no nipping, less reactivity, obedience) but our relationship with our pup since Jimmy taught us the proper dynamic between human and dog. Our pup respects us and wants to be with us and learn. Jimmy taught us how to make training fun for our pup and how to fulfill her so she’s not acting out of boredom. We plan on continuing her training here and using their daycare services because all the staff here is amazing!! We had a really amazing experience with Pack Place K9 and the owner Jimmy for our dog Toby! We got Toby as a puppy during COVID so he was definitely under socialized and struggled with reactivity. We decided to look into a training program and found Pack Place. During our first meeting, Jimmy immediately impressed us with his professionalism, expertise, and experience. Right off the bat, he had really great insights for what we could be doing differently as owners to help manage Toby’s behavior, and we felt really confident signing him up for the orientation program with training. Jimmy’s training philosophy really emphasizes building a genuine and trustworthy relationship with your dog, which was definitely apparent with Toby! He was definitely nervous at first but by the end of the program we could tell he really enjoyed going to day camp and having new experiences, like trying agility exercises and meeting new dogs. Throughout the process, Jimmy sent us many video and photo updates personally and even took Toby to different environments in the area to help with his socialization. He really went above and beyond, providing us with tools and knowledge we needed to be better owners. I really felt like he genuinely cared about Toby and our needs. We now know how to manage Toby’s reactivity a lot better; Toby is a lot less reactive on walks and the socialization he’s gotten with other dogs has been a complete game changer. I cannot recommend Pack Place and Jimmy enough for anyone looking for any type of support with their dogs!! It has been worth every penny. We’ll be continuing to send Toby for day care since we can tell it is a really great addition to his life 🙂
