Visited the store earlier this week to increase the laptop storage which got full after phone data copy. During the appointment the AZ Tech technician was able to figure out the folder that occupied most of the storage. Deleting that folder made lots of space on the laptop. BUYER BEWARE — Galaxy Construction also does business as Galaxy Restoration. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions. I initially dealt directly with Galaxy’s owner/president following damage to my home and relied in good faith on his representations and expertise. He directed me to a separate mitigation company doing business as Flood Doctor/Restoration Doctor. Based on my interactions with Galaxy, I understood that company to be functioning as Galaxy’s mitigation subcontractor. I later learned that I had actually entered a separate contract directly with the mitigation company. That distinction became important when the mitigation billing became disputed. The first mitigation invoice was $11,773.16, later increased to $13,643.16, and was subsequently corrected to $12,363.36 after billing issues were challenged. My insurance company valued the mitigation substantially lower. For complete accuracy, that dispute was ultimately resolved through credits and adjustments, resulting in an agreed final payment of $8,143.16 to the mitigation company with a zero balance. My concern with Galaxy is the gray zone surrounding its role in this arrangement. Galaxy’s involvement went beyond simply providing a referral. Its owner performed supervisory functions associated with the project, and Galaxy required me to pay it a $2,500 deposit. That deposit was subsequently credited dollar-for-dollar toward the separate mitigation company’s invoice. I am not alleging that this transfer was improper; the credit ultimately reduced what I owed. My concern is transparency. As a consumer, I believe I should have clearly understood from the beginning that I was dealing with separate companies and separate contractual relationships, what role Galaxy would continue to perform, and how money paid to Galaxy could ultimately be applied to another company’s account. That is the gray zone I wish I had understood beforehand: rely on one restoration contractor → get directed to another company you understand to be its subcontractor → discover you actually contracted independently with that company → original contractor remains involved in the project and accepts your deposit → deposit is ultimately applied to the other company’s invoice. Consumers should not rely on informal understandings about who is working for whom. Before doing business with Galaxy Construction/Galaxy Restoration, get the relationships in writing. Ask whether any recommended mitigation company is actually Galaxy’s subcontractor or an independent contractor. Understand exactly what Galaxy is supervising, which company you are contracting with, who will bill you, and where any deposit you pay can ultimately be applied. Have your insurance company review the contracts before work begins. My criticism is about transparency and the process I experienced—not an allegation that the $2,500 credit itself was improper.

Brandon C. Is such a great tech and representative for PMSI! Generally most of the techs have had been great to do our services. He always makes sure he does what he can to address whatever we have going on. We are on quarterly service plan but if anything comes up, we can contact PMSI and they will send him out in a timely manner. No one can keep all bugs and critters gone but we can tell they do a great service, don’t cheap out on product, and have some caring workers. Our pups even get some love from Brandon when he comes by.

We have been using PMSI for over a year and half now and cannot recommend their services enough. They are extremely accommodating to your schedule with their quarterly visits (even when you need to reschedule last minute). They send email reminders before visits and come out in between for FREE warranty visits if you notice any issues in the meantime. Greg has been our technician and he truly feels like a family friend at this point. He’s so kind and caring to our family and extremely diligent in his work. You can’t go wrong with PMSI!!

I love that PMSI sends the same person to our house every time so the technician knows the property and where things are located. We had such a wonderful experience at iCode Ashburn! The space is bright, welcoming, and perfect for kids to learn and explore coding. There’s a greay waiting area out front for parents to get some work done or just hang out while waiting for their kids. My kids loved the programs! From robotics to Minecraft and age-appropriate coding challenges, there was something fun and engaging for every age. The instructors/staff were friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made even tricky concepts fun and accessible. The location is great and super convenient too. We can’t wait to come back! My laptop was stuck in a re-start loop after it was inadvertantly sat-upon. I looked up reviews for Q Computers and gave Shah a call. True reviews! He had it fixed, replaced a board and it was back running smoothly in a few days. After a week or so, it seemed to have a relapse and I took it back, Shah was happy to take a look. Turns out it was just a needed windows update. Like a lot of other businesses, he could have taken advantage of a no-nothing dinosaur like me, but he did not. It is back home and I will defintely give Q Computers my return business.

Went there for a car inspection. Bil was incredibly helpful and took his time to clearly explain the issues found. The mechanics were also really helpful. They even went to research something further about my car model's history in order to be able to answer my question specifically. Very high quality shop. I've previously visited the Fairfax Craftsman Auto Care and had great experiences there. Happy to see the ashburn location has the same level of trustworthiness, reliability, and skill. Drop my car off for basic oil change in safety inspection and I received a full workup of the car's health as well as recommended service items. When I drop the car off? Bill was very friendly and helpful letting me know what to expect as to when the work would be completed. This location also offers after hours drop off which is helpful if you are unable to get the car in between the posted business hours. Got a call later the same day from Steve and he outlined in clear, simple to understand language exactly what service he would recommend on the car while remaining objective and not pushing me to get unnecessary work. When I declined some of the recommended work, I was not met with resistance, guilt, tripping, or fear-mongering. It is very difficult in this country to find a mechanic shop that trustworthy, transparent, and reliable. Craftsman Auto Care manages to hit all three of these traits. This is the only mechanic shop in the state that I would be comfortable sending people who are not familiar with car maintenance or trades. My only complain is that the folks that run this shop do not also have a plumbing, locksmith, HVAC, and electrical business. They exemplify the professional and trustworthy nature that is so lacking in the automotive repair industry.
