The best place to park for a run. Can run five miles in either direction on crushed gravel trails before crossing a major intersection.
There are plenty of parking spaces, lots of tree coverage and many picnic tables. The long line of backed up cars to get to the lot is caused by the toll booth, not from lack of spaces. Be patient - 20 or so min inching forward and you'll make it.
Since 2015 the trail users have become a combo of decent people and narcissistic AHs...
Amazing cycling path. It's my favorite trail to bicycle, has good greenery for the entire path.
