It is incredibly hard to find a contractor who is honest, reliable, reasonably priced, and does excellent work. When you do, they deserve a great review. I had a large second-floor picture window with moisture between the glass. The window itself was replaced under warranty, but I needed someone to install it. I received estimates from two local window contractors that seemed outrageous — around $2,000 for labor only. Both companies made the job sound far more complicated than it actually was in order to justify the price. Complete SCAM, I should post their company’s name here. My realtor (Charlotte Savoy– also a 5-Star Review) told me she had a “window guy,” so I contacted Quality Window & Glass Repair LLC. They were outstanding. Their quote was less than 25% of the other estimates — more than 75% less expensive. They got me on the schedule within two days, showed up early, and completed the job in a little over an hour. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and fairly priced. It really does not get better than that. I highly recommend them. Wow– 5-Star Average in Google Reviews with 408 reviews. I do not think I ever saw that before!!!

Fantastic service. I called this morning concerning a side door window that shattered. After confirming the glass kit was available, the company set up a time for same day replacement, arrived when expected, took care to ensure that removing the window did not spread glass in the house, removed the shattered window and replaced it with the kit, did a wonderful job cleaning up, and was pleasant and professional the entire time. I just made my umpteenth referral for Collins. At this point I should probably get a referral fee. 😉 For the record, I don’t. Many times when people come to my home and see my garage, they ask me who did the work. It’s been FIVE YEARS now and I’m still very happy with the work that Collins did. Admittedly, I keep the floor clean by pressure washing it frequently and treat it well but after yet another referral to Collins just a few minutes ago I realized that they weren’t getting the review from me that they deserved. DO NOT HESITATE. You might find cheaper pricing but the prep work is key to a long lasting floor. Buck and his crew do quality work.

Our contractor recommended Duley & Associates for getting us a site plan and we are really glad he did. They are very responsive and quick! They got us on the schedule for the business day after we called and we had our drawing the day after the survey. The gentlemen who came out were very nice and super professional, too.

This team is amazing. A surveyor came out to my property within a couple of days of me reaching out, submitted the drawing shortly after the visit and made revisions when asked. The company is also really affordable compared to some others in the area. I would definitely hire them again. Also, shout out to Emily for answering all of my many questions!

I personally, haven’t gotten a survey myself, but when I do I will make sure to get one done with Duley. I work in the home improvement field, and I am always recommending clients to go with Duley & Associates for all their survey needs. They have always been fast and responsive, and my clients have always had good things to say. Their surveys are incredibly easy to work with when marking proposed work locations; its very easy for draftsmen or architects to mark.

Brandon C. Is such a great tech and representative for PMSI! Generally most of the techs have had been great to do our services. He always makes sure he does what he can to address whatever we have going on. We are on quarterly service plan but if anything comes up, we can contact PMSI and they will send him out in a timely manner. No one can keep all bugs and critters gone but we can tell they do a great service, don’t cheap out on product, and have some caring workers. Our pups even get some love from Brandon when he comes by.

We have been using PMSI for over a year and half now and cannot recommend their services enough. They are extremely accommodating to your schedule with their quarterly visits (even when you need to reschedule last minute). They send email reminders before visits and come out in between for FREE warranty visits if you notice any issues in the meantime. Greg has been our technician and he truly feels like a family friend at this point. He’s so kind and caring to our family and extremely diligent in his work. You can’t go wrong with PMSI!!

Megan has been servicing our home for almost 2 years. She is always timely, professional, and friendly. I love that PMSI sends the same person to our house every time so the technician knows the property and where things are located. We have had 3 different pest control companies over the years and PMSI is the best! They are also easy to schedule and customer service is great.

Loudoun Valley Floors completed a phenomenal flooring job for me. I had ancient carpeting in most of the house that desperately needed replacing. Melanie Stone provided all the information I needed to find an LVP flooring that was an extremely close match to the older wood flooring in the house. Once chosen, the measuring, estimate, and setting of installation dates followed swiftly. Melanie, Kiley, and Nicole answered all of my questions as I prepared for the installation with four cats in the house. Oscar and team actually started early so that he could assess the basement floor concrete, and they provided much needed self-leveling before the basement installation. Oscar and his team were very helpful in helping us stage where to corral the cats as they worked to install the LVP in 3 bedrooms, an upstairs hallway, and the basement as well as install good pine on two flights of stairs. Everything went so smoothly and they did an outstanding job! William and his helper came the following week to stain and finish the stairs in a beautiful English Chestnut. They too, did an outstanding job. I love my new floors and I really love those stairs. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Loudoun Valley Floors.

I am extremely pleased with the finished result and craftsmanship delivered by Loudoun Valley Floors, particularly the hardwood floors. On one level of my home, existing hardwoods were sanded and refinished, and new hardwoods were installed where there had previously been carpet. Everything was stained and sealed for a uniform look, and the result is beautiful and a major upgrade. I am also very pleased with the new carpet and its installation. On the front end, the estimate and sales process were handled quickly and thoroughly. I appreciated the clear communication, efficiency, and personal approach. I also appreciated the detailed terms and contract. With three separate teams working on the project, there was some lack of continuity around home access, securing the home afterward, and clarity on what each team was handling. The home was vacant at the time, so this mattered to me. I communicated the concern and respected how it was handled.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience was outstanding from start to finish. We had our main floor replaced with engineered hardwood. Loudoun valley floors had a large selection that was price competitive. The sales person Nicole was excellent, she was quick to answer all our questions and provided all the details needed for a smooth process. The installers removed tile, carpet and hardwood in 1/2 a day and installed the hardwood very quickly while doing an amazing job. The job only took 2 total days and the team was excellent keeping the rest of our home with as little dust as possible. I highly recommend Loudoun Valley flooring, we had a great experience and love our new floors!!!

I had my old wood windows replaced by Washington on Windows. Brandon, the salesman, was very clear and informative about the products they offered and the timeline from purchase to completed install. The status of the order was regularly communicated and when the windows arrived locally, I was able to choose an install date that fit my schedule. Joon was the team lead for the install for the day and the results look great! Before leaving for the day, he led a walk through of the finished project and ensured I understood the functionality of the new types of windows that I purchased. The project was completed on schedule with no apparent defects at first glance. The job site was left clean with no noticeable debris from the work. I’m writing and posting this initial review within an hour of completed install, meaning the product I purchased has not had time to deal with weather, nor have I had to use my warranty for any reason.

Young and his crew did a phenomenal job at replacing and installing our new windows! They took time and care to place tarps down to prevent less dust on our floors, respected our place by taking off their shoes indoors, cleaning the windows, and triple checking that the windows are fully insulated! They were very quick and efficient, but made sure everything was done correctly. They also took the time to clean up after themselves as if nothing happened. Lastly they explained to us how to clean and use our windows! I highly recommend them if your need new window replacements!

Joon and his team installed a bathroom window today. They were wonderful…in by 9:00 done by 12:15. Very efficient, neat and professional. Joon always checked in with me to get my feedback on things. Always making sure that we were on the same page before he did anything. I really appreciated that. All in all, an outstanding job done.

Robert Mace of Absolute Electric was very professional and helpful in providing a quote. He went over substantial information and answered all of my questions, and provided 3 quotes for different versions of the job I need done based on budget needs. He also completed fantastic work, being honest and upfront all the way around the work, answering questions, and providing courteous service. He upgraded my 60+ year old box (left) to a new box (right), moving it to a better location, adding ground and arc fault protection, and rewiring significant portions of the house.

We are preparing for Solar Panel installation and Net Storage Metering. Absolute Electric did an outstanding job with our GFI circuits, outdoor circuits, electrical maintenance panel, and energy monitoring per-circuit breaker as well as installed a whole-home surge protector. We used Five Star Painting to prepare our home to sell and I have to say it was the BEST experience. He explained all of the electrical work in a way that was easy to understand, including the importance of GFCI protection, current electrical codes, and the rules and regulations that help keep a home safe. What I appreciated most was that he never pressured me. Instead, he gave me several repair options, clearly explained the pros and cons of each, and helped me make an informed decision. His professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail gave me confidence that my home is properly protected. I had Matt in today, with Jonathan shadowing him, and they did great work! Every part of the process was explained to me – what was wrong, what that meant, what it was supposed to look like, and how to fix it. They originally came in for the yearly free maintenance check you get with a membership, but they found an issue with our water pressure system. They fixed it within a couple hours, and were out of my house by noon with a full comprehensive list of what they had done, how long it should last, and an easy expectation that if *anything* was wrong later, they would fix it (for free, up to a year later). Both young men were very helpful, friendly, and professional.

Gustavo Hernandez was excellent! Fh furr has always given us excellent service from plumbing to HVAC. The technicians are respectful of my home. They are very knowledgeable. I have been having issues with my sump for a while with three floods to deal with. No one seemed to know what the issue was and my last sump pump failed in less than a year. But today, Mr Hernandez was able to solve the problem and we are forever grateful. We have the home service plan and it has really paid off. They have a lot of availability and are great with communicating on the day of service.
