Such a great indoor play area. Weather it’s too cold or too hot outside. The place is kept clean and sanitized and shoes not allowed. They have an area where you can take a break and eat( they allow outside food). They also have great party rooms. It’s definitely Luna( my daughter) approved .

My children had an incredible time exploring, climbing, and playing, and they never wanted to leave. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. I also appreciated how well-maintained the play areas were and that there was plenty of seating for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their kids. It’s the perfect place for playdates, birthdays, or just a fun family outing. An absolute lifesaver for parents! HyperKidz Ashburn is fantastic. The very first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean the entire facility is, and all the equipment feels brand new and incredibly well-maintained. There is loads of fun packed into this place for kids anywhere from 0 to 10 years old. They have great designated zones so the tiny babies/toddlers can play safely away from the older, more energetic kids. The vibe is wonderful too—it's a very friendly environment where both the kids and the parents feel welcome and comfortable. It’s the perfect go-to spot whether it’s a scorching hot summer day, a freezing winter afternoon, or any rainy day in between. Highly recommend!

Timeless Nights, Global Legends & the Perfect Picnic Wolf Trap has always been one of those venues for me — refined, relaxed, and effortlessly iconic. Over the years, I’ve seen an incredible range of performances here, from pop nostalgia and world rhythms to pure musical mastery: ABBA, Gypsy Kings, Lionel Richie, the legendary A. R. Rahman, and the breathtaking vocals of Shreya Ghoshal. Truly global. Truly special. This past August, though, was a first: Back to the Future with a LIVE orchestra — and it was magical. Watching a beloved classic while a full orchestra performed the score in real time made every scene feel richer and more immersive. Familiar moments hit differently, in the best way. We made a whole evening of it — packed dinner, a bottle of wine, lots of fresh fruit, and cheese, spread out picnic-style on the lawn with friends. Warm air, good conversation, clinking glasses, and that unmistakable Wolf Trap feeling where culture meets comfort. Wolf Trap remains unmatched for summer nights done right: concerts, cinema, orchestras, picnics, and memories that linger long after the final note. Classic venue. Cultured crowd. Effortlessly place to be.

Wolf trap has free and ample parking, you can bring in your own alcoholic beverages and food, and the park rangers will give you a free ride in their golf cart from the parking lot to the admission line….You can't beat it. Everything in the park (including the parking lots) were well labeled and marked. There were plenty of stalls in the bathroom and all were super clean. The acoustics were fabulous and the lawn seating is sloped so you have great view of the stage and no one blocks you. Someone rings a loud bell letting you know the next performance is about to begin. Leaving the parking lot was super quick as well. They have plenty of friendly staff and park rangers to guide you and direct parking like the pros they are. We were out of the lot and on the highway in 5 minutes flat. They have this down to a science. Hands down the best concert experience I've had in a very long time. Amazing!!! Thanks for a wonderful night.

Amazing venue and so grateful for the accessibility. I was able to take my grandmother and with the ADA parking, shuttle, and seating, we were able to have a great time. The food and drinks are pricy but that’s expected since you’re allowed to bring in your own! Bathrooms and all areas we experienced were very clean.

This review is for Michael Johns and his delivery crew for Liberty Safe & XCAL. Michael had fantastic communication, even while he was traveling out of the country for vacation. The process was simple and straightforward. It was really nice being able to walk into XCAL to view the comprehensive lineup from Liberty. A wide range for every budget. The delivery guys were professional, efficient and clean. They installed the dehumidifier and lights here at my house and it looks great. I was speaking to a couple other safe distributors/resellers and Michael/XCAL was by far the best value. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed myself at XCAL in Ashburn. They have a nice, modern facility that is very organized and well kept. The staff there was professional, friendly, and very patient when answering all of my questions, taking their time rather than rushing me. I thought it was especially impressive how safe and detailed-oriented they are; they take your comfort into account regardless of whether or not you are experienced with it. Their equipment is top-notch, and they have a very positive environment. Absolutely one of the best spots around.

I recently joined Xcal as a member. Having had memberships at other shooting ranges, all I can say is Xcal beats them hands down. The facility is extremely modern, clean, and completely on point for a 21st century indoor shooting range. In my opinion though the staff definitely makes the difference. Everyone is polite, professional, and welcoming. No attitudes, just geniune gun enthusiasts enjoying what they do. I'm glad I joined and look forward to many years as a member. Cheers!

Took my son for his first time at a range. Every staff member from the front desk to registration to RSO’s were polite and informative. The entire facility is clean and inviting so don’t worry about brass building up around you; without being intrusive it was swept away when needed by the staff. We are already planning a return trip next week and I appreciate the option to shoot everything from a 22 to a 50cal. Prices are reasonable, especially for the amenities and we definitely will be looking into a membership.

This restaurant is absolutely at the top of our list. Not sure where to start but here we go. When my wife and I walked in and were greeted by Aubrey she was very delightful she spoke was very pleasant showed us to our table. This restaurant is very well decorated , very clean , absolutely beautiful and bright inside for a Restaurant. Simon was our waiter and from jump street he was the very best we have ever seen, the 30 years of experience showed in everything he did down to the smallest details. He went through every aspect and detail of the menu. He made his recommendations we tried his and some of ours. We started with Filet mignon potstickers and sweet and spicy shrimp both were amazing the shrimp with the fresh slaw was ridiculous. Then for drinks to start I started with an old fashioned my wife the Barry white and it was delicious. We moved on to salads I did the Caesar / she did the Classic Wedge all dressing were house made and once again amazing even for a dam salad. Let’s move on to the entree’s I did the 32 oz Wagyu Tomahawk ribeye with 6 oz lobster tail the 1 lb baked potato and the sweet potato casserole, my wife did the 16 oz prime bourbon ribeye with 6 oz lobster tail , lobster Mac and cheese , Eddies Brussels sprouts w bacon then the house made carrot cake to go it was at least a serving large enough for 4 . Everything is house made absolutely the best meal we’ve ever had . During all of this Simon was there every step of the way we had the absolute best service ever imaginable. During our meal The big boss man himself Patrick took time to stop by and check on us and have a conversation asking us about the food / service / our experience . Then Tommy the second big boss man did the same as well this type of service from anywhere else is unheard of. I do think I have covered everything if not I will update later. Thank very much for a great experience

This place is such a gem. I came in by myself just before Halloween to see the del Toro Frankenstein and then ended up buying a ticket to go in for the original as well. The two theaters were very different but both had comfortable seats and great sound and screens. From what I gather, the latter showing was in the "main" theater which was a very neat space. There were not many people there at all but it also was midday midweek. Good value on tickets and concessions.

This place is underrated. After viewing The Odyssey in 70mm here, I definitely want to support this theater more. It’s the equivalent of going to a small coffee shop where the barista actually is passionate and knowledgeable about coffee beans vs going to Starbucks. The staff here are passionate about film and the projectionist we had that night (shout out to Emily) was incredibly knowledgeable. We appreciated her coming down before the showing to do an impromptu Q&A session. The theater itself was so clean and the retro design made it extra nostalgic. I miss not having assigned seatings and being able to just sit anywhere on a first-come-first-served basis. The audio quality was great and the crisp 70mm made The Odyssey that much better. Overall a great place to enjoy a movie, highly recommend supporting this theater.

The #1 theatre is a stunning room. This is one of the only places to catch the most exclusive international titles and limited run films. The curated programming, film festivals, retrospectives and reel full screenings are top notch. This theatre lacks most of the amenities of a modern Multi-Plex and I would not recommend it to a mainstream consumer but any cinephile in the District or Maryland will know this location well.

Alexandre Monnard

This theater is an institution in DT Silver Spring, even if it's not the most modern or has the fanciest seats (they're absolutely fine and have good legroom, for the record). AFI organize annual film festivals for each region, often showing several US premiers. Many of these films are even hard to find online so these showings are rare opportunities. They also sometimes have events where film directors or others do Q&As, which is cool. The selection of food and drinks (incl. alcohol) is good for theater context and so is their quality and price.

i do not like writing poor reviews… I actually hate doing it, but in this case it is warranted. The first time i tried this Diner was for a quick bite while on break with my co works… that turned into an hour waiting for his food, my food, lack luster, no butter on pancakes, cold eggs. The waitress tried her best, and a patreon privately paid for our meal… this Extremely kind gesture was certainly not expected and we were given cards to return to give them a second chance. So we left our kind waitress a $30 tip and returned to work. Today was the final day for my card so i figured i would try the meal my co worker suggested. He said it was great…. I asked for the Hanger steak as my co worker got, and asked for it to be prepared medium. When i returned to my hotel and cut into it, it was raw. Not med rare, not rare, Raw. Flash cooked at high heat to sear and removed… I put it in my air fryer for 12 more min at 350…. this is the Edge of the meat…..I do not live in this state so my not returning is null and void, but please do better for you patrons.

This place has such a welcoming atmosphere! The service was outstanding from start to finish, with a team that was attentive and made us feel right at home. I really appreciated the menu, especially the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and healthy choices available. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for delicious food in a relaxed setting. I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit!

My future wife and I had a great time at this location. It was our first time at any Silver Diner and our server was amazing and so was our food. I really wanted a waffle to eat that weekend and theirs was very full'n and tasty.

Great field for Airsoft. The staff are nice and interactive and happy to answer questions and take lots of input and feedback, very happy with safety standards. The first time I went I was renting one of their airsoft rifles. It barely worked but they've since switched to higher quality guns that seem to work much better for everyone I see use them because I got my own gun. I haven't played paintball at pevs but their airsoft experience is amazing and great for milsim and the site has a welcoming community. They have multiple areas they rotate through and structures to clear and hide in. The airsoft instructor Jack is very helpful and the guy at the front desk Dylan is very helpful and nice as well. Airsoft isn't as popular as paintball so it's less crowded and you can really have fun in the woods and fort guerilla style without being constantly shot. Every ref keeps it different by changing up the gameplay frequently. Overall Pevs is a great facility and I reccomend it to anyone looking for a fun time. Admission is rather pricey but 100% worth the cost. You won't regret playing at pevs

Really enjoyable experience. For a party of 8 the gold pack is more than enough to enjoy some outdoors paintballing for 2 hours. Kyle went out of his way to take some pictures for us and genuinely he's a very understanding and great Ref. Definitely became a spot for us to come back to

I usually do not write reviews but I would like to share my experience at Pevs. I have a few boys who wanted to play paintball, I figured that it would be a fun outing for them and Pevs was nearby so we decided to go. Check in was pleasant and quick. The boys were then safety briefed and sent up to play. I later decided to go up to see them. This is when the "game guide?" named Dylan met me, he politely told me that I needed to go back down to fill out a waiver and get a mask. I explained to him that I was not playing. He then explained that in order to be on the fields in a safe manner, everyone including him must wear a mask regardless of whether or not they are playing because paintballs can fly out of bounds and strike others. He seemed to be younger, around 22 or 23 but was very polite and understanding even through my frustrations of having to walk back down the large hill just to take a few pictures. I ended up not going back up as the boys were finishing up shortly after. Once the boys came back, our checkout of returning the equipment was very easy. I asked about their games and they said that originally, they weren’t on the same team but later Dylan along with another guide named Seamus had made sure to adjust the teams so that they could play together which is something they asked at the beginning but unfortunately it wasn’t able to work out at the time. Overall, the staff from check in to rentals and even on the fields were very pleasant. They were all young but still very respectful throughout the entire process.

10. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema One Loudoun

Rating
8.3 (+ 3556 reviews)

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema One Loudoun offers a distinctive movie-going experience with a retro-themed lobby that adds character to the venue. Known for its high-quality concessions, including well-crafted food and a variety of drinks, it caters to both casual snackers and those seeking a more substantial meal. The theater boasts an impressive screen and a lively atmosphere, though seating comfort could be refined for an even more immersive experience.

Service efficiency and attentiveness can vary, with some guests noting delays in drink delivery or limited staff interaction. While the thematic ambiance and bottomless popcorn (when functional) enhance the experience, minor adjustments—like improved lighting for order-taking and better-stocked facilities—could elevate the overall visit. A solid choice for film lovers balancing entertainment with comfort.

Pretty cool place to watch a movie and get some decent snacks and beverages. Apparently the theme in the lobby is from the shining movie which is pretty cool! I had the turkey wrap and it was really good. Seats could use a little updating but other than that the screen is great.

Nice theater and cool vibes with the retro media, but it definitely has room for improvement. The first time I came it took so long for my beer to be delivered that I ended up ordering a second one as I thought they hadn't got my first order. Also, the food is fine, albeit expensive, and there's not enough lighting, if any at times, in the theater to write down orders during the movie. Not to mention how loud it is in the theater during the previews.

Came here to see the new Spiderman movie. The food and drink were good, I do wish they offered reclining seats but it is clear when booking your tickets that they are normal seats. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the theater offers "bottomless" popcorn but we were unable to get a single refill throughout the entire duration of the film. Overall a good experience but wished we could have been able to flag down our server for more popcorn.

The Alamo used to be my favorite theatre growing up, but this specific one has definitely gone downhill. The staff almost never come back unless its to give you the check, theres never anyone at the bar area to speak to or answer questions if you need anything, bathrooms are frequently understocked, once the movie starts youre pretty much on ur own till it ends (like a normal theatre) and you can forget about ordering food, it wont come until the movie is nearly over and then you likely wont have time to finish. The staff is very neglectful, I feel they need a revamp and new employees. They also do NOT tell you about any after credit scenes, so Google it before going in to make sure you don't miss them.

What happened to this theater? We just went to see the Odyssey and we end up in dreaded theater 9. I wish the app would let you know which theater the movie is playing in. We would have chosen a different time. 1. As soon as we sat down, the armrest on one of our seats was completely broken. As in it came off. Dropped to the floor. It was unusable. Lovely. I felt like I was sitting in the middle seat on an airplane and lost the armrest war. 2. The ordering system. Everything is now ordered through an app. No one will take your order. It took an extremely long time to get our drinks and even longer for our food. The food was cold by the time we got it. Not great, especially for fries. 3. Of course you are still expected to tip your servers. If you’d do not close out your tab within 20 minutes of the movie being over, it is closed for you with an automatic 18% tip added. No one tells you this of course. Luckily I remembered to close it out before we left. I do not mind tipping. I get it. It’s part of our everyday life. I would like to have a real server take my order. 4. It really irks me we have to order online using their WiFi because regular signal will not work. I do not like using public WiFi. I try to avoid it at all cost. So not only do we need to use the WiFi, but we have to enter credit cards numbers as well as all our other info. A dishonest persons paradise. We used to love going to this theater, next time we will be going elsewhere. Maybe where the seats are not broken and they recline.
