Hyper Kidz is one of our favorite places to visit! My son absolutely loves coming here and always has the best time. There are so many fun activities to keep kids entertained, and it's a great place for them to run around, play, and burn off energy. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Every visit is a great experience, and my son never wants to leave. I highly recommend Hyper Kidz to any parent looking for a fun and safe indoor play place for their kids!

Such a great indoor play area. Weather it’s too cold or too hot outside. The place is kept clean and sanitized and shoes not allowed. They have an area where you can take a break and eat( they allow outside food). They also have great party rooms. It’s definitely Luna( my daughter) approved .

Hyper Kids is an amazing place for families! The facility is clean, spacious, and has so many fun activities to keep kids of all ages entertained. My children had an incredible time exploring, climbing, and playing, and they never wanted to leave. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. I also appreciated how well-maintained the play areas were and that there was plenty of seating for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their kids. It’s the perfect place for playdates, birthdays, or just a fun family outing. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hyper Kids to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and exciting indoor playground!

Spacious and clean. Nice friendly staff. Lots of engaging activities to keep your kids moving the entire time you're here. I love the colors and artwork on the walls, very whimsical.

An absolute lifesaver for parents! HyperKidz Ashburn is fantastic. The very first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean the entire facility is, and all the equipment feels brand new and incredibly well-maintained. There is loads of fun packed into this place for kids anywhere from 0 to 10 years old. They have great designated zones so the tiny babies/toddlers can play safely away from the older, more energetic kids. The vibe is wonderful too—it's a very friendly environment where both the kids and the parents feel welcome and comfortable. It’s the perfect go-to spot whether it’s a scorching hot summer day, a freezing winter afternoon, or any rainy day in between. Highly recommend!

Great park for ALL ages! Has a smaller toddler section on one side and a bigger taller structure on the other. Has 4 big kid swings, 3 baby swings, and 2 other swings. It's partially fenced in. There are some open paths so it's not completely closed off and you do have to keep a close eye on your kids. There are plenty of trash cans around the park and there are also some shaded picnic tables There are public restrooms up the path but they're not accessible unless you leave the park.

This park is really good. It has equipment for younger kids. It has a bunch of swings, picnic tables and benches all around. There's a larger equipment that is geared towards older kids but totally accessible even for my toddler. There's also fun climbing ropes. There's picnic tables both inside the play area and just outside and up the hill where there's restrooms easily accessible.

Awesome playground, lots of fun for kids of all ages. There are a bunch of benches around the playground area so the parents can sit there watching their kids and enjoy the sunshine. We went on a weekend afternoon and there's ample parking spots available. Will surely bring my kid to play here more often.

We visited this park for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was a huge hit with my son. It has the tallest slides that I know of in Loudoun county – they are three stories high!my favorite part is the swing that I can fit both of my children in the infant as well as the toddler. It is so cute to see them swinging together. 🙂 There is a lot more shade and most of the playgrounds around and the benches are appropriately placed in the more shaded areas.

This community park is a real treat! 🌳 The recent upgrade gives it a fresh, clean look, and it’s packed with fun for kids and adults alike—swings, slides, and a wide-open space to run wild. 🛝 I had a blast walking my dog along the paved paths, perfect for biking too. The picnic tables near the entrance were great for chilling with some snacks. 🍽️ My only gripe? They got rid of the beloved spaceship play structure—such a bummer for those nostalgic kid memories! 😢 Would love if future upgrades kept a couple of fan-favorite pieces. Still, it’s a fantastic spot for family fun, even if it gets a bit crowded in the evening!

Nice spacious park. Great for toddlers. Had picnic area and swings and also a trail However the restrooms were locked which was huge trouble as our little one had to go bathroom after 20 minutes. Not sure if we will go back because of the restroom issue.

Love this park. Perfect to bring little ones that enjoy playing in the water.

4 playground structures all right next to each other for just walking all the way up to 12 years old. 2 Bathroom stalls (though one wasn't opening when we were there) and picnic pavilion. Very popular on a nice day. Kids loved it

This place was so much fun for all three of my kids, ages two four and six. I had so much fun I didn't even take any pictures. Several little playgrounds scattered the park, restrooms, benches, and plenty of space to park. Lots and lots of room to run. Very safe and set far back from any main roads

Very nice clean park. Bigger than I thought it would be. Nice. Get place to walk you dog or yourself. Big playground for kids.

We had our daughter's birthday party here last weekend and can't speak highly enough of the support and care taken by Mia on the day to ensure that the event ran smoothly. Mia is a problem solver, helping make sure we could get the audio connection resolved in time and addressing any concerns and questions throughout the event. All with a smile on her face and a first class attitude. Thank you Mia 🙏 Brad and Elysia were instrumental in making sure we were set up for success from the booking to the event itself. Thank you both for all the pre-event prep needed to make this a success!! Thank you Ashburn Ice House Team for making this an unforgettable event for our family 🙌

International adult figure skating competition. The facility is incredible. Thank you very much for hosting this event. Would be great to have a snack bar/ coffee shop. We spend 8 hours during the day between morning practice and afternoon competition

This has been our ice skating home since being referred by friends and neighbors. I know there are other rinks in nearby counties, but this one has all we need. The public skate was not too crowded and enjoyable for all levels of skaters. There are plenty of benches for getting your skates on or taking a break from the ice. We also enjoy the pizzeria with the view of the hockey rink. The food was good and service was quick. Skate rental was easy. I left 15min for checking in and getting skates – that was more than enough time. I also learned that though the default is figure skates, you can also request hockey skates for your rental, which made my son very happy. I've also visited the rink store in the past and appreciate the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff. Our group had a great time and we look forward to returning, soon!

Patrick is the best!! I was having such a difficult time finding figure skates that fit well due to my foot size and width but Patrick was super patient and understanding in trying on multiple brands and sizes with me. He was also super knowledgable and really took the time to evaluate the issues I was having and come up with a solution.

Two rinks, and very busy there for the competition weekend. Clean and easy facilities. Upstairs for seating and viewing, both sides have seating inside the rinks, too. Vendors popped in for the Potomac Memorial NQS competition. They also have a Slice Theory pizza shop attached that opens up a bit later in the day. Inside, also a Memorial to the lost AA5342 flight skating team members from the rink. May they rest in peace.

My daughter has always wanted to fly! We signed her up for 2 sessions for her 10th birthday and she was so very happy. Our instructor was Libby and she was so nice and patient! The session time goes very quickly but they do say time flies when you're having fun!

First time visiting. We liked it but probably wouldn't do it again. The staff was nice and helpful. The space was clean and had a small arcade. Each ride is a minute long. Not bad!

I had a phenomenal experience with all the staff members. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. My only issue is the actual flight time. If each flight is only about 60 seconds, it’s hard to justify driving all the way there and paying that price for only 1–2 minutes of actual flying. I really wish the packages included more flight time because everything else about the experience was great.

All in all, a great experience, however, I feel that over $100+ for 2 minutes is crazy considering I can do real skydiving for $100 and about 10min total time. But my daughter liked it so I can't complain too much

This is definitely a "do it at least once" kind of experience. I’ve driven past iFLY so many times and always wondered what it would be like, so I’m glad I finally tried it. That said, I probably wouldn’t do it again. I’m also not sure the video package was worth it. At least for me the footage didn’t turn out nearly as cute as I was hoping. 😆

This is the coolest, cleanest kids place I’ve ever been to. Everything is cleaned between the 90 min sessions and reset for kids to play. So many activities for them to explore. The recycling truck and Lego table was a huge hit with my almost 2 year old and 5.5 year old. It’s getting harder to find places that can entertain them both and it was FANTASTIC. The token you get at the front desk for a snack at the end is the cherry on the top! The kids get to pick their snack and everyone leaves at the same time so it makes the transition flawless. Only thing I was expecting was maybe a 5-10 min warning from the staff and to kindly ask if items could find their way back to the original location. Cleaning up after ourselves is a part of learning so I wouldn’t have been offended to have everyone doing it! Thanks so much for a great time!

We had our son's 3rd birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing. From the communication leading up to the party, to the flow of the party the day of, everything was perfect! The party hosts the day of the party were so attentive and on top of everything, making sure to keep us on schedule without having us feel rushed at all. You can tell they know what they are doing here, even with their simple suggestion of doing happy birthday before serving the food to make sure there were no messy clothes or faces in the pictures! On top of the stellar sevice the facility was so clean and the workers made sure to tidy up throughout the party as needed! As someone who used to host and plan birthday parties my expectations can be pretty high, I can honestly say Playstreet Museum far exceeded my expectations!! To this day I have other parents still talking about my son's birthday here, and even booking their own children's parties here as well!

We love the PSM Ashburn branch! The staff are so nice and the toys are quality! The staff work hard to put the toys back in order. I can tell that the space was created to facilitate children’s creativity and exploration. Great activity!!

I hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Play Street Museum, and it was a wonderful experience! She and all of her friends had an amazing time playing together and exploring the different activities. The party host was fantastic very attentive and helpful with serving the food and cupcakes, which made everything run smoothly. I also appreciated how they continuously cleaned up throughout the party, making it easy for the kids to keep playing while ensuring the toys stayed organized and ready for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it was a stress-free experience, and I would highly recommend Play Street Museum for anyone looking to host a fun and well-organized children’s birthday party!

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Play Street Museum, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely amazing! Everything was communicated clearly leading up to the party, which made the planning process completely stress-free. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating the entire time. They truly made us feel taken care of and ensured everything ran smoothly. The space was beautifully decorated and so clean. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the environment. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the celebration — they handled everything! That alone made it so worth it. The kids had the best time, and as a parent, it meant so much to be able to actually enjoy the party instead of worrying about details. I highly recommend Play Street Museum for birthday parties. It was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely be back!

Even though it was super cold, the park was great and it was nice to get out and walk and see the river and viewing the birds as I walked the trails was great as well. Spite the cold there were several people at the park playing, with their children and others were on the trail as well, I'm sure this is a beautiful part during the spring in summer and I can't wait to return to be able to view it for myself. Highly recommend for anyone that loves nature walking or just being outdoors.

This is a nice, newer park with plenty of space for families to enjoy. It has a great playground with slides for the kids, an open field that’s perfect for playing soccer, and clean restrooms available, which is always a plus. Overall, it’s a great neighborhood park for letting kids play and burn off some energy. A nice place to spend an hour or two outdoors.

Nice little 1 mile walking path through the woods and next to a stream. Nothing fancy, but did see birds and squirrels. The park has a great playground for the kids.

Very well maintained park, I walk the path almost every day with a dog sitting client. Easy access to the Potomac Heritage trail, lots of soccer pitches, and a lovely playground that always has kids and families at it.

Beautiful park but seriously who decided it was a good idea to put multiple giant rocks in the middle of a children’s park? Didn’t even photograph all of them, here’s just two.

This is an amazing, scenic park with beautiful lush green views. The entire park is very well maintained, and we really enjoyed exploring the trails. The Yellow Trail is about 8 miles long, while the Blue Trail is just a couple of miles and stays mostly within the smaller area of the park. There is plenty of parking right across from the Welcome Center, with additional parking available near the playgrounds. They also offer kayak rentals and provide life jackets. The park has a few pavilions with plenty of seating, and they can also be rented for parties or gatherings. The reservoir is large, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. It's a wonderful place to enjoy nature, go for a walk, or simply unwind. We had a great time and would definitely recommend visiting!

Amazing peaceful park, fill of life and life diversity, the trails are amazing, the park let you release your stress, animals and birds are the owners, we just visitors, respect animals

Very beautiful lots of parking and amenities. We went fishing and it didn't help that it was 101 degrees. Very nice will definitely return.

Brand new park, very clean, some pretty cool info about the relationship of the park to the local water ecosystem. Nice little trails and kayaks (though no canoes).

Great park! Very well maintained, clean and has great trails and view points.

This was our first time at the trail and we did not get to complete the loop. We completed at least 3 miles and I would say the difficulty level is beginner to intermediate. This trail offers stunning lake views, fun rocks to explore, and beautiful wooded scenery! My only suggestion would be a map of the trails. Plus, there are kayak rentals and other water activities available. We loved our first visit and can't wait to come back!

Parents need to parent their children. Kids taking rocks and throwing them creates significant drain run off and erosion which is not okay . Facility is great offering trails, fishing hiking

If you love hiking and paddle boarding, you need to check this area out! Even though a section of the trail is under construction right now (so no full loop around the reservoir), what is open is totally worth the trip. Hit it early on the weekend to beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful morning on the water—the small entry fee is 100% worth it. Pro tip: The Mt. Hope Rd. lot fills up fast, but don't panic if it's full, as there’s tons of parking right on the road.

Such a nice area for hiking & paddle boarding! A portion of the trail/area is under construction still (so you can't hike around the entire reservoir) but what is open is worth visiting. I've only been on weekends and it's not too busy early mornings. Paddling on the water is peaceful – worth the small fee to enter the water. The Mt Hope Rd parking lot can fill up fast but there is ample parking on the road in.

🌊 Review of Water and Trail Access to Beaverdam Reservoir 🏞 Introduction Beaverdam Reservoir (often called "The Rez") is a fast-growing outdoor destination in Loudoun County. With the addition of Reservoir Park under NOVA Parks management, visitors now find a balance of water recreation, hiking, and family amenities. Reviews point out the improvements in facilities, while still noting the natural challenges—mud, ticks, and parking pressure. 🚣 Water Access & Activities Kayaking & Paddleboarding: Rentals available seasonally (March–November). Calm waters make it ideal for beginners and families. Fishing: Temporarily restricted during park construction; check current status. Docks & Launch Points: New boat ramps and docks; a small fee for rentals or launching personal craft. 🥾 Trail System Length & Layout: Main loop ~7.5–8 miles, mostly dirt, flat with light elevation. Trail Conditions: Muddy after rain; overgrowth in summer. Long pants highly recommended. Suggested Direction: Go counterclockwise from the church to the dam for better footing. Wildlife & Hazards: Expect ticks, snakes, and poison ivy; but also birdwatching, turtles, and deer sightings. 🛶 Facilities Restrooms: Modern restrooms are now in place (a huge upgrade). Picnic Areas: Tables and shaded lawns make it family-friendly. Visitor Center: Includes water conservation exhibits and educational features. 🚗 Parking & Access Points Main Lot (Reservoir Park): Fills quickly on weekends; early arrival is best. Alternate Parking: Smaller access points at Mt. Hope Rd, Reservoir Rd, and NRPA building. Overflow Options: Tillett Field has been used when sections were under construction. 🌅 Scenery & Experience Combination of wooded trails, shoreline views, and rocky outcrops. Peak moments: fall foliage reflecting in the reservoir; calm sunrise paddles. Atmosphere: "peaceful and family-friendly," but can get crowded during weekends. 📅 Best Times to Visit – Morning: Cooler, less crowded, and fewer bugs. – Spring & Fall: Moderate weather and ideal trail conditions. – Weekdays: Quieter and better for paddling. ✅ Key Pros – Modern facilities (restrooms, docks, visitor center). – Scenic and moderately challenging loop trail. – Great paddling and water access. – Family-friendly and educational. ⚠️ Key Cons – Trails muddy after rainfall. – Ticks and poison ivy in warmer months. – Parking congestion on weekends. – Occasional construction closures. 🌟 Final Take Beaverdam Reservoir has evolved into one of Northern Virginia’s most versatile outdoor spaces. Hikers get a full loop with water views, paddlers enjoy easy access, and families benefit from shaded picnic grounds and restrooms. Bottom line: Arrive early, dress prepared, and check access updates. If you do, you’ll enjoy a spot that combines nature, recreation, and community space—right in Loudoun’s backyad.

Well kept private park. Most residents don't keep their dogs on leashes though, so keep an eye out if you have issues with (probably friendly) dogs off leash. It was a great place to get my kid to stretch her legs.

We went for their light show. It was pretty nice but reallly really small. The show afterwards was fun. Very talented kids. Over all it was fun

This is a great park! Nice wide walking trails through the trees and grass, as well as park equipment for kids to play on. It is dog friendly with trash cans and doggie bags, and it is in a nice location with parking along the perimeter.

I went there to see the light show. It's very cool. I didn't get the chance to visit the stores there but I can tell there are lots of them. It's very nice and clean. I will do some shopping there if I ever in that area again.

Great park for kids and dog walkers!
