We hosted an event this past weekend at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dulles Airport, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The facilities are clean, modern, and very well maintained. Both the meeting room and the guest rooms were comfortable and provided a great environment for our group. The location was also perfect—very convenient to the main road and with plenty of parking available, which was a big plus since the parking is free. The service throughout the weekend was superb. The kitchen staff truly went above and beyond, and the food was above average compared to what we typically experience at other hotels. Everything was well prepared and served with great attention to detail. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience smooth from beginning to end. I would especially like to recognize SAMUEL BANKS, who was extremely helpful both days we were there. At the end of our event, he assisted us with checking out and settling the bill. Sam is an outstanding employee—professional, kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly host another event here in the future. Highly recommended.

A special thanks to Jennifer from the front desk and house ceeping who found and stored my sons beloved dino plushie. After an exhausting trip and flight cancellations we stayed here over night. Room was nice and clean, we slept really good and had a good breakfast. In the morning my son left his plushie covered by sheets in the room. House ceeping found it but we were already at the airport. Jennifer at the front desk was so helpfull and gave us options for shipping it to Europe. Having still plenty of time till departure I figured I would get an Uber and get there myself. I was so reliefed and so was my son. Thank you again. I really appreciate the help and the house ceeping being very attentive 🦖

We had a really great stay here. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the customer service was excellent. We checked in after midnight and the ladies at the front desk were so welcoming & friendly, which made a good first impression while we were very tired. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was a really pleasant experience and we would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed at Embassy Suites Dulles Aug 28–30 and were disappointed. While the hotel is close to the airport, the surrounding area is extremely unattractive. Unknown to us, this part of Virginia has the most data centers in the world, and the environment feels cold, industrial, and dystopian. One evening there was a car show nearby and the hotel parking lot was completely full. Police were everywhere and said they were waiting for tow trucks, and that this happens often when there is a show. We couldn’t get into the lot at first. When we finally found a spot, it was behind the building and not wheelchair accessible. My disabled mother had to be lifted in her wheelchair over steps and a curb just to get inside. The front desk staff was great, but the breakfast experience was not. The omelette cook was unfriendly, seemed irritated, and wore street clothes with no apron or gloves. I must say though the omelets were delicious. Other members of the kitchen area were extremely friendly and hospitable. The Omelette man just acted like he wanted to be home instead of making omelets for the guests. The hotel also felt worn and the beds were very uncomfortable. Overall, not the quality we expect from Embassy Suites. I have had better experiences at other Embassy Suites and very disappointed after this past weekend's stay.

The rooms, breakfast and happy hour was fine but the room ACs don’t drop below 68, and even at that temp, rooms didn’t feel too cold. The pool area is also decent. Minus the room temp, I don’t have any complaints. The breakfast was made to order and pretty decent. We got a king suite room and it was perfect for an active toddler and 2 adults. If you have a kid, I would recommend calling ahead to reserve a crib (if you need).

Another wonderful stay at the Double Tree Hotel in Sterling by Dulles Airport. We had a flight out in the morning and this location was perfect being so close. I had good experiences at the hotel for several past stays. However, I was very disappointed in the recent stay. The front desk lady told me the breakfast was from 6 to 10 am, but didn’t tell me it was not complimentary and needed to pay for it. I thought it was the encouragement for me as a longtime Hilton Honor customer. However, I was charged for $19.03 including taxes with very cheap food quality there. Very unsatisfied!

I'm not a fan of the room layout. There are two light controls, 1 that turns on both the sink/toilet areas and one that turns on the sleeping area. The problem is, if you have to use the toilet at night, you have to turn on the light for the sink area also which doesn't have a door. Therefore the entire sleeping area brightens up also. They need a separate light for just the toilet area. Secondly, its hard to to turn on the shower and adjust the temp without getting the floor all wet with the way the shower door opens. Now with service. On our first evening the fire alarm went off because they burnt popcorn. Then, each of the following two mornings the fire alarm went off for a few seconds in the 6am hour for some unknown reason. I'm guessing someone burnt toast. Then there's house keeping. There's a card in the room saying to leave towels you want changed out on the bathroon floor and if you want the sheets changed, to place this card on the bed which we did. We left the room at 10am and house keeping was cleaning the room across from us and saw us leave. We returned that night at 8pm to find the room as we left it. No new towels, beds untouched, and garbage can still filled. 1st and last time at Aloft

We stayed at this hotel due to a United flight cancellation on Sunday, and getting there was a whole journey. When we arrived, the kitchen was already closed and there was no food available. The best part of the experience was the front desk agent, Josep. He was very kind and helpful, giving us directions to get food and explaining transportation to the airport. He was also there the next morning and took the time to explain how the United meal card worked. We didn’t have cash to tip him, but we truly appreciate his great attitude, professionalism, and going above and beyond. Thank you, Josep!

Our stay was a 100/100! The staff absolutely goes above and beyond and we had the best stay! The rooms were clean and they supplied everything we needed. I stayed here for a couple weeks, for business in town. The rooms were reasonably clean and well kept. But the hosekeeping staff would skip days I scheduled for them to come. It was a bit doissapointing. Also just be aware that there are no complementary breakfast options at the hotel (understandable, given this is a Garden Inn, it's just something you have to be aware of). One of their elevators also needs its door position sensors replaced because it kept slamming open, every time. Not too inconvenient but just lound to deal with, if you have an early morning or late night. Also be aware that they only exchange $5 per person per day for quarters, for laundry. So if you have multiple loades to do, bring your own quarters.

The lobby was really nice. The check-in was very easy. The gentleman that checked us in on April 27th was so friendly and professional. The coffee set up in the lobby was very nice. The room was extremely clean and set up so nicely. After I got in bed, I fell fast asleep. Slept well all night. The breakfast was a lot more gourmet than most Hotels, we loved it. One of the worst starting experiences at a hotel, EVER! When I went to check in (around 10PM), the host said she didn't have a room for me booked yet (I was already booked for a first floor room via the Hilton APP). I showed her the app, and she gave me the key for that room. I walk to the room, open the door, and immediately see a half-drank water bottle on the table. Thought that was odd, so I walked around the room and found another bottle of water, a pack of Dude Wipes in the bathroom, along with beer and food in the refrigerator! Either someone was already staying in that room or housekeeping did not clean it. I got my stuff and went back to the desk to inform the host. She did apologize, but then tried to book me in a 2nd floor room on the side without an elevator! That absolutely will not work for me. She then put me in a 2nd floor suite on the side with a functioning elevator. The TV in the living room did not work, maintenance personnel (he was a great guy by the way) had to come fix the issue. The stay was decent enough after that, but I WILL NOT be booking here again and DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Oh my. Let’s start with the non working doors to get into the hotel. They swing open and the handicap button doesn’t work. They often start to shut on you. Waited at reception desk for 5 minutes waiting to check in with not one soul to be found. First floor ice machine didn’t work so I had to hunt down the second floor ice machine. You are next to a data center so you are forced to use the slow WiFi. TV’s kept freezing. Beds are comfy though! Showers can be updated. My shower made a "eeeeeeeeee" noise the whole time. Water pressure was no where to be found. Not a lot of towels provided. Toilet was very low to the ground and was leaning. The breakfast was bland, and hard to chew. You can use the indoor pool but have to go over to embassy suites for a pass. No seating outside for smokers or for those who want to watch the planes come in. Fire alarms went off and elevators didn’t work for another hour. Good thing there’s only 3 floors.

Absolutely horrible. AC would not cool room below 74 degrees. They sent maintenance up to my room and said that is the coolest it will get in the room and brought me a fan. That night the AC went completely out and I woke up to a room at 79 degrees. Received the automated text message asking me how my room was. I responded with the same and no answer/no resolution. I went to the front desk in the morning and no one was there for the 30 min ~ish I was down waiting. I had to leave for work and then received another automated text message asking me how my stay was. I responded the same. Still when I tried to call the front desk to ask if my issue was resolved or if they could move me to another room, no one answered the several times I called over 20 minutes. I called the main Hilton number and asked for their help in resolving my issue with my stay. They said they were able to speak to the front desk who confirmed they were completely sold out but they would send someone up to my room to fix the fact that it was TOO COLD. I reminded them the room was TOO HOT and there was already someone who went up to the room to fix it the night before and told me the room cant get any colder. I asked her if she could have them move me to a room in the sister property literally next door. She said because it is work travel booked through AMEX she can not and then asked me if I wanted her to cancel my room . This is insane.

So to start… my reservation disappeared magically when I booked it at $179 a night. They tried to tell it was over $300 a night but they would help me out by getting me down to $210… My coworker didn’t have any issues so oh well. Not the biggest concern but just very weird never had a reservation for a hotel vanish from the system. The real concern was honestly the quality of the hotel, I have never stayed at a Hilton property of any kind that rain causes the TV’s to go out. It was the entire night… If I had known this was going to be an issue it would have been the last place I planned to stay. Moving to the next I’ve also never stayed at a single Hilton property across the board where they won’t let you get an extra water from the two you get upon check in. The fact the AGM had to look in the system to see if I was given a water when I checked in and then being told oh no it will be $x.xx is crazy. I get that they offer a "complimentary breakfast" so they don’t have the food and beverage credit but I just needed a single water to take medication and instead was welcome with a rude oh you already had your complimentary I can charge the next to your room. What a joke… With that said a company email went out and we will absolutely stay elsewhere when traveling to the area in the future… Literally would not recommend this place at all…

Loud, noisy, no closets or dressers to hang your clothes they are exposed to the room. No microwave. Parties on the patio that go until midnight or later, with loud guests. Some people have to work in the mornings and want to sleep. Can't believe this is a Hilton property, what an embarrassment. Guest laundry machines not being service, this place is a disaster. If you're a college kid in your 20s, this is the place for you. For people who work and want sleep- stay elsewhere.

I stayed at Tru by Hilton Ashburn for work and had originally planned to stay for three nights, particularly because the hotel was within walking distance of my client. I arrived late at night after a long day of travelling from the UK and went straight to bed. At around 3am, I woke up itching and was horrified to discover that my bed was crawling with bed bugs. I immediately informed reception at around 3:15am. I was told the hotel was fully booked for the entire week and that there was nothing they could do for me at that time. The options presented were either to have my room "cleaned" and potentially return the following night, or wait until the manager arrived at 9am so they could look into finding me a room at another Hilton property — which would require a drive. As a result, I was left sitting in the hotel reception in the early hours of the morning, having had very little sleep, after an already exhausting day of international travel, with nowhere to go before work. I ultimately had to arrange alternative accommodation myself. Because there was nothing available within walking distance, I also incurred additional taxi costs getting to and from my client each day, as well as losing considerable time dealing with the situation. I subsequently contacted Hilton to request reimbursement for these additional costs, compensation for the significantly higher cost of last-minute accommodation, and appropriate compensation for the distress and bites I suffered as a result of the bed bug infestation. What has been particularly disappointing is the response from management — or lack thereof. Despite repeatedly contacting them by email, I have received no meaningful response and have had to continually chase them for updates. For a hotel to have such a serious cleanliness issue and then provide such poor follow-up customer service is simply unacceptable. Cleanliness and basic hygiene should be the absolute minimum expected from any hotel, particularly a major international hotel brand. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, compounded by extremely poor management and customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

We ended up booking this hotel at the last minute due to flight delays and our other plans falling through. It was our first time visiting Virginia and this area was excellent. The hotel itself was new, very spacious and well appointed and the best part were the people who made you feel welcome . Upon check-in, Denise was so kind to us even though it was almost 3AM in the morning and she provided us extra pillows and escorted me up to my room. Upon check out, Hashmatullah was so kind as to give us a little extra time to pray before we left for the Airport. The included breakfast was also convenient and the rooms came with all our basic needs including a microwave and a dishwasher. Couldn't be happier we booked this property and the price we got this property at was perfectly appropriate and worth the money.

The best thing about this hotel was and is Massiel. She treated me like a King and she treats everyone the same way. Amazing person and she deserves the highest pay and The heights title for this company. She's the only reason I'm give this Hotel branch 5 stars. Very blessed to have meet her thank you. This hotel was good 👍🏻. I stayed 4 months here. The only issue I have was the pool not being opened on at least memorial day. Would be nicer if it was year around indoor especially the price you pay and the gym could have more than one flat bench. Other then that service was amazing. Food is good. And the vibe was friendly and relaxing 😎😌👍🏻✌🏻

Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for USA Softball Eastern Nationals. Close to fields and walkable to Chick‑fil‑A. Very convenient for team events. Lobby & Common Areas: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Spacious and useful for team gatherings, but consistently hot. One evening was uncomfortable enough that we returned to our rooms. Room Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large rooms with full‑size refrigerators, kitchen utensils, sleeper sofa, desk, and plenty of towels. Very comfortable for a family stay. Amenities: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Breakfast buffet was good, but no early grab‑and‑go option. Outdoor pool was closed most of the week due to maintenance issues, though the hotel compensated the team and had it fixed by the last night. Parking: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ample parking. Normally paid, but the hotel provided free validation for the tournament. Service & Hilton Honors Experience: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Staff was helpful, but digital key pickup required an in‑person ID check, which is inconvenient for Hilton Honors members who typically bypass the front desk. Elevators & Building Operations: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ One of two elevators was out of service, causing delays during check‑in and check‑out. Overall Stay: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4 Stars) A satisfactory stay with great location and spacious rooms, but several operational issues. We would consider staying again for future tournaments.
