I love this store. It has almost everything you need for your home, project, gardening, etc. They have such a large variety of items, you could be in this store forever just looking at everything. I do furniture refinishing and they always have what I need to complete my projects. The staff is so helpful when I have a question and eager to assist. There is a restroom in the back of the store that is large enough for wheel chair access.

I’ve been to many Home Depot stores over the years, but the Ashburn location is by far one of the best. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. When you ask a question, they don’t just point you in the right direction, they take the time to understand your project and make sure you’re choosing the right items. Today I went in to buy a refrigerator for our garage, which I thought would be a simple task. Debi, from the appliance section, who is also a U.S. veteran, assisted me and explained exactly what a garage-ready refrigerator is, which brands are reliable, and walked me through the warranty, delivery, and other important details. She made the whole experience easy and actually enjoyable. She also helped me find the other items I needed. I just wanted to give a big shout-out to Debi and the entire team at Home Depot in Ashburn. Keep up the great work! 👏

This Home Depot is clean, well-stocked, and organized, which makes shopping convenient and efficient since items are easy to locate. However, while I noticed associates greeting and assisting other shoppers nearby, I was not acknowledged at all, which left me feeling overlooked and less valued as a customer. Consistent customer service would make the experience much better.

Today I rented equipment from the Home Depot Tool Rental in Ashburn, and I had an excellent experience thanks to Aran. Even though he was clearly short-staffed and handling multiple customers, he still took the time to work with me one-on-one and made sure I fully understood everything. Aran was extremely patient and thorough in explaining how to use the equipment, especially when it came to safety. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure I was comfortable and confident before leaving. That level of attention and care is rare, especially when someone is busy. What really stood out was his professionalism and willingness to help despite the workload. He stayed calm, answered all my questions clearly, and made himself available if I needed help later. That kind of customer service makes a big difference. Overall, this was a 5-star experience. Aran is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond for customers. I would absolutely recommend renting from this location because of him.

This place has always been consistently good in the 15+ years I’ve lived in the area. Keep up the good work. I also had a good experience recently with their 3rd party storm door installer, RFI. I will give a review on that separately, but the arrangement for storm door setup and purchase went very well at this HD. Good job!

I am giving 3 stars for all the tools they have in inventory. However, I would have given à big 0 as the customer service is awful. The big white gut and the big lady at the cashier on 4/18 morning were hideous, no smile, no manners and no customer service at all. We showed the guy a picture of a tool that we found online and he didn’t even offered to look it up in his system by the name of the tool but sent us to look at the website and the lady at some point was on the floor and we asked her, she pointed at the box, we said thank you and she didn’t even acknowledge or responded but kept walking.. if you want your business either observe/train/coach or hire people with better customer service skills.

Harbor Freight Tools sold me a warranty three weeks ago, sent me nine emails confirming the purchase, and then claimed today that I "don’t exist" in their system. The staff attempted to resell me the same warranty instead of addressing the underlying issue. > > This raises serious concerns about Harbor Freight’s internal systems, data integrity, and the legitimacy of the warranties they promote. If customer information can be lost this easily, how can anyone trust that their warranty will be honored when it actually matters? > > This experience reflects a breakdown in reliability and accountability. Until Harbor Freight fixes its customer‑tracking and warranty‑verification processes, I cannot recommend them. I do not trust you after today.

If it's made in China, it's probably sold here. Well priced tools and equipment that gets the job done. I wish more Americans products were available at this place. But in crunch time, whenever you just need to fix things, you don't care where's made; you just need to find the right tool. Harbor Freight probably has what you need. The service, on the other hand, is always good.

I'm a DIY'r and Harbor offers a great value alternative to the local hardware store. Great variety of tools and other home improvement supplies. I just bought a tool chest that my family wanted to get me for Father's Day. Had to special order the green color. For once, I now have a single place for all the tools vs. across 2 tool boxes, and a bunch of plastic bins. Service is pretty good and the value you can't be beat. Such a variety of things, it's dangerous to browse b/c you find yourself filling your cart.

As a former manager of multiple restaurants, I always believed that the customer's satisfaction should come first. Unfortunately, my experience with Lowe's was the complete opposite. I purchased a pressure washer to clean my deck, but it isn't powerful enough to get the job done, even after an entire day of use. On top of that, it leaks badly, making it unusable for my needs. I bought the pressure washer less than two weeks ago. When I tried to return it, I was told it was outside of the store's two-day return policy. Like most retailers in the United States, I expected a standard 30-day return policy. The most frustrating part is that I purchased both a grill and the pressure washer during the same visit, and at least four employees assisted me. Not one of them mentioned that the pressure washer had a two-day return policy. Instead, I was told I had to deal directly with the vendor. I purchased the product from Lowe's, not from the vendor, so I expected Lowe's to stand behind the sale. This was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Customer service like this is how companies lose loyal customers. Manager Alexis showed very poor customer service and made no effort to resolve the issue. I expected much better from Lowe's. I'll do business with Home Depot!!!

I would like to recognize Justin at Lowe's for the exceptional customer service he provided while helping me purchase a storm door for my home. After a previous order had to be canceled because the door arrived with the wrong dimensions, I was understandably concerned about making the same mistake again. Justin went above and beyond to make sure I selected the correct storm door with the proper measurements and specifications. He took the time to carefully review the dimensions, answer all of my questions, and ensure that everything was accurate before placing the order. His patience, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me confidence that I was getting exactly what I needed. It's rare to find someone who is so dedicated to helping customers, and Justin truly made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Because of his outstanding service, I left Lowe's feeling valued and confident in my purchase. Thank you, Justin, for going the extra mile and providing such excellent Service.

I recently visited Lowe’s to purchase Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring and to explore carpet options, and I had a very positive experience. From the moment I arrived, the sales associates in the flooring department were friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the differences between various LVP styles, wear layers, and installation options, and helped me compare products without any pressure to upsell. While browsing carpet selections, the associates were equally knowledgeable and patient, offering useful guidance on materials, durability, and maintenance based on my needs. I appreciated how organized and well-stocked the flooring section was, which made it easy to view samples and visualize how the products would look in a home setting. Overall, Lowe’s provided excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience. I would confidently recommend this location to anyone looking for quality flooring and helpful, professional assistance.

I am a star customer, I am remodeling my kitchen and my all my appliances arrived on Saturday, my contractor noted that I paid for a dishwasher water line and it wasn't with the appliances. Since my counter tops are being delivered the next day, I really needed that part. Peaches, was called to help me and noted from the pictures of the delivery, that they didn't give me the part, she immediately called appliances and someone brought it to me. GREAT MANAGER! On the down side, a female associate gave me a warehouse #, and told me that I needed to call them, she was patronizing and rude. That's when she called Peaches out to help me, didn't like my attitude.

Miserable experience purchasing a $450 grille and a $75 grille cover ($550.00 total purchase) for a birthday gift for my husband. Assembled and delivered first grill arrived damaged (cover was dented, knob scratched. Called Warehouse for a replacement delivery. Second grill arrived 2 days later with multiple chips, scratches, and loose parts. No quality control at Warehouse?Shameful! Obviously did not accept second delivery. Called Leesburg store and talked to Manager. She agreed to a grille cover exchange and a knob replacement and offered a discount for the headache. Came to exchange parts and get my discount and the grille cover did not have the handle attached. An employee got his screwdriver out and put it on. Customer service ladies snickered, whispered, laughed (older red head, young chin length blonde hair). I asked for the Manager to get my discount. After waiting almost an hour, a helpful employee finally was able to get a hold of the Manager and explain to me the Manager would offer a 10% discount lol, but didn't have time to deal with it today. The manager is supposed to deal with it tomorrow and give me a call. Seriously, what an ordeal. I dont think I will ever patron Leesburg Lowes in the future. Buyer Beware if you buy a large item to be assembled and delivered for free. JUST DON'T. Leesburg employees at Customer Service rudely give you the run around. Imagine that….Customer Service (who clearly does not care). Go figure. Let's hope I get my 10% discount.🙄 Wow! $45 off for literally a 4 day headache.

I’m sharing today’s experience in a positive sense, as this store is doing a great job overall and I’ve consistently received very good customer service in all areas. That said, I want to mention an issue for customer awareness and improvement. During a return today (about +$400, mostly larger items), the store was not busy, and before leaving the counter when I checked the receipt, I realized 4 items (worth just over $30) had not been scanned. I’m not naming the associate, as I’m not sure if this was an oversight. I’ve seen a few reviews mentioning return concerns, so I just want to encourage the store manager to pay attention to the return process and recommend customers double-check their return receipts. ———————— I always have a good experience at Lowe’s, but this time the customer service was truly extraordinary. David went above and beyond to help us when we were trying to buy items we didn’t have much experience with. He patiently guided us in choosing a backsplash that fit perfectly within our budget and also helped us select the right solar lights. Because of this experience, I honestly regret wasting money at Home Depot in the past—their customer service doesn’t compare at all. The Lowe’s store in Leesburg stands out for its excellent service. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful, the store was clean and well-organized, and the overall experience was outstanding. Special thanks to David for his exceptional help. I highly recommend this Lowe’s store over Home Depot. Best customer service all around! ————————— Old review I’ve had several disappointing experiences at other home improvement stores, particularly Home Depot, where getting assistance often feels like an uphill battle. So when I walked into Lowe’s, I honestly didn’t expect anything different — in fact, I didn’t even bother asking for help. To my surprise, Tim approached me proactively and offered his assistance without me saying a word. I was in a rush and left the store without purchasing anything that day. But what truly impressed me was when I returned — Tim remembered me, had taken the time to jot down what I was looking for in his notebook, and was ready to help right away. That level of attentiveness, initiative, and care is rare these days. Tim went above and beyond, and it made all the difference. He truly represents the gold standard of customer service. Lowe’s is lucky to have him, and I’ll definitely be returning because of this experience. Thank you, Tim!

I spent a lot of time looking for an extremely specific door. I received quotes from some major distributers but none of them were quite right and I would have had to settle. Tart Lumber was recommended by a friend and they were worth every penny spent. Not only did Aimee Kitchen take the time to find my 8 foot double-sliding French doors, she found it at 1/3 of the expected price. I was so shocked by the price, I wanted to see images of the door. Since the door was special order, Aimee was able to get a drawing (to specs). My door arrived three week early and my project is now complete. Mind you….Tart Lumbar is 40 miles from my home, and all of this was done over the phone and via email during a pandemic. Aimee communicated with me and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Tart Lumber is now my vendor of choice and I will drive the 40 miles to continue to do business with them.

I have been a Tart customer for over three decades. I always find what I need here and get great advice. More recently, I have used the custom shop and they provide precise and outstanding quality woodworking and materials. I would not go anywhere else, plus the staff like Shannon, are extremely friendly and competent–using tools such as computer-aided cutting plans. In January we needed to replace the solid door to our laundry/AC utility room in order to pass inspection. The requirement was to have a door with ventilation slots so the system can properly breathe. We first tried Lowe’s and Home Depot, but those types of doors aren’t readily available and usually need to be customized, so we were referred to TART. My husband went to the store and explained exactly what we needed. Shannon Mundy was the associate assisting him. She provided a brochure, my husband brought it home, and after reviewing the options together we quickly decided which door we wanted and placed the order. Unfortunately, the communication throughout the process was very frustrating. My husband had to email and call multiple times just to try to confirm whether the order had been processed. It was extremely difficult to get a response, and we rarely received calls or emails back. As time went on, we had no clear updates on the status of the order. Now it’s March 9, and we still hadn’t heard anything. My husband called again yesterday and only then were we told that the door had already arrived. The timeline was also much longer than what was originally suggested, so the lack of communication made the entire process unnecessarily stressful. That said, when I personally went to pick up the door today, the experience was very different. Linda (I believe, sitting all the way to the right) greeted me right away and was extremely friendly, positive, and helpful. She helped me find what I was looking for, then found the order, provided the receipt, and helped coordinate everything. Another gentleman also helped fully load the door into my car, which I truly appreciated. This place clearly has a great team and offers products that are difficult to find elsewhere. Because of the helpful staff during pickup and the fact that they had exactly what we needed, I’m giving four stars. However, the communication during the ordering process could definitely be improved, as it made what should have been a simple purchase much more frustrating than necessary.

Outstanding Service at Home Depot – Highly Recommend! I want to give a huge thank you to the incredible team at the Home Depot in Sterling, VA. I’ve been shopping at this store multiple times, and every single visit has been a great experience. The staff is consistently helpful, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. On our most recent visit, we were in a time crunch and needed help picking and loading a large quantity of tiles. The team once again delivered exceptional service in a very short amount of time with professionalism and kindness. Special thanks to Assistant Manager Ms. Mina, who took charge and made everything run smoothly. Her leadership and positive attitude turned a potentially stressful errand into a pleasant experience. I also want to recognize Ms. Floor, who was attentive, friendly, and worked hard to help us find exactly what we needed. Her great service truly stood out. Big appreciation to Christian, who helped load the heavy tiles into our truck quickly and carefully. I also want to thank the team member (whose name I unfortunately forgot) who previously helped me order vanities and flooring that were not available in the store at the time. She was very helpful and made the process easy. This level of consistent customer service is rare these days. Home Depot in Sterling, VA is lucky to have such an outstanding team. We will definitely keep coming back and will recommend this store to everyone! Thank you again to Ms. Mina, Ms. Floor, Christian, the team member who helped with the vanities, and everyone else who has helped us over multiple visits! Update: I went back to pick up more items and was happy to be helped again by the wonderful young lady who assisted with my floor and bathroom project. Her name is Melany (I forgot to mention her last time). She did fantastic work as always — many thanks, Melany!

If you go to the grocery store, you buy ingredients and you cook food at home. If you want someone to cook it for you, you go to a restaurant. You don't go to the grocery store and see if they can send someone to your house to cook for you. The same should be true here. Don't waste your money with any of the Home Depot install programs. I used to think they were expensive because they came with some level of guaranteed competency and brand name accountability on the part of Home Depot. That you were paying extra for some added value even though the same job was getting done by the same third party contractors – somehow it would go better simply because Home Depot was willing to put their name on the line. The problem is Home Depot is not a person. It's a big faceless entity. It costs more simply so they can get a chunk off the top, so they can upsell you on every optional accessory while still forgetting to account for things like door knobs on a door install. They just run you through your assembly line, hand off a bunch of crap to the contractor that subs it out to another contractor after pocketing whatever optional materials they know are unnecessary, and then the poor schmuck at the bottom of the pyramid scheme comes out to your house, does great, hard work, goes above and beyond – all because they'd rather just get the job done than deal with Home Depot corporate and fight for adjusted quotes for every small (or large) issue they run across. So as the little guy eats costs in their time and their own scrap materials, Home Depot knows this, because all Home Depot cares about is their profit margin as a publicly traded company. Go to Home Depot like you would a grocery store. Get your ingredients, get out. The staff there are probably less knowledgeable than you and you wouldn't ask the clerk at the grocery store how to cook your dinner, so don't ask the college kid that's been trained by Home Depot PowerPoints to set up thousands of dollars worth of installs when you can just cut out all these middle men and find a local contractor that will do the same job for less.

I went in there to pick up one thing but ended up having a great conversation with the owners and asking questions about other tools as well. Definitely going to make a return trip again.

I love RH! This location has great prices, a wide selection, and very stylish pieces. Tysons Galleria is usually so expensive, but RH here has amazing prices. I'll definitely keep coming back.

This is the deal with any RH Outlet….you can find some great bargains! But you need to inspect the items thoroughly and move them yourself if at all possible. I’ve bought so many pieces for my home and always get compliments on them. But like many others I’ve experienced issues with allowing a third party to deliver. I am always happier when we move the pieces ourselves.

We love RH furniture…. In fact, we’ve got several rooms of it in our house, filled with it, where the deco of the room was centered around the St James collection or the French Contemporary Collection for the bedroom – We even painted walls and installed hardwood flooring to match! We even just took delivery of our final pieces this past week, but even still, we decided to take a look at this store, as we haven’t been to it since it was in the outlet mall across the street. The selection of furniture here was amazing – lots of pieces available and th4ey had incredible deals going, including 20% on everything and most everything we saw was already 60% off! The only gripe was that they didn’t have any decorating accessories, which is what we were hoping for. Otherwise, you’re not going to find better furniture at such high quality and incredible prices!

Very clean and well organized. Staff was quite friendly and willing to assist. Restoration Hardware is an expensive store to shop at hands-down. If you have the pockets to afford RH, then this outlet is the place for you. We used to shop the old location at the Leesburg Outlets and could walk out with a "splurge" item from time-to-time. However, this location (or RH overall) has seemed to out price us.

Mid South Building Supply, Inc. in Ashburn offers a diverse selection of building materials, catering to both contractors and DIY enthusiasts. While their product quality and reliability have earned praise from some professionals, particularly for custom cabinetry, inconsistencies in order fulfillment and customer service have been noted. The experience varies significantly, with some highlighting exceptional support from knowledgeable staff like Emily Preisendanz, while others report delays and logistical challenges.

For those prioritizing personalized service and expertise, the showroom’s design team can be a valuable resource. However, potential clients should verify order accuracy and delivery practices to ensure a seamless experience. Overall, the company’s strengths lie in its specialized products and dedicated professionals, but attention to operational details remains an area for improvement.

I am a contractor in NOVA, I would not recommend this company to anyone! We are now in week 12 of issues with a very simple cabinet order. We received the replacement order and to our surprise there were NO doors and NO drawers on the replacements but yet they were shipped separately…. guess they expect their clients to build all in the field, just like Ikea cabinets but paying 3x's as much. Oh, but here is the best part… they didn't send any hardware! No MidSouth I will not be using you again and I will definitely not refer any clients your way as our headache through this process is enough for a lifetime.

I have renovated a few kitchens and bathrooms over the past couple years and Mid South Building supply has become my cabinet source of choice. I have also referred several customers and they have been very satisfied. The design skills and product line knowledge of Emily Preisendanz – Ashburn Showroom Manager & Kitchen Designer has been critical to customer satisfaction. I’m sure I’ll return for my next project.

Worst contractor experience we’ve had. Low quality. No attention to detail. They damaged our furniture, floors and counters when coming to fix their countless cabinet issues

Really should be 1.5 stars or less. Rude, idiotic, reckless drivers on the road, and the people are inside are ignorant and disrespectful. Do not deal with these people, they have no concept of professionalism in business.

Loved Working with Emily Preisendanz in every way, she planned and ordered 2 custom kitchens for me in a few short days and was awesome to deal with. She was construction smart and knows what she is doing! Jim with Madigan Const. Inc.
