Events in Ashburn: Discover the most outstanding options

I reached out to Amanda for photos to add to my modeling portfolio. She did an amazing job. The images were shot amazingly well and the location shots were awesome. I love how she could provide simple directions and capture the shot so quickly. Highly recommend her work for your photography needs. Definitely will recommend.

Mandy is an outstanding photographer. She put our son at ease and made the entire photo shoot fun. The photos captured the moment perfectly and have the authentic style which comes from putting people at ease. I would recommend Mandy for any photo setting. She excels at outdoor, action shots and candid photos which capture the moment.

We have used Amanda for multiple family sessions and have been happy everyone with her work. She is great to work with, very professional, and super quick turnaround. Highly recommend user Amanda.

Mandy was INCREDIBLE! We have an annual holiday party for family, friends, and clients. Although our previous photographer was fine, Mandy did an absolutely superb job! We will definitely be using her again for future events. Mandy was responsive, helpful, and kind during the booking process and her platform is very easy to use. She went above and beyond at our event to make people comfortable and get everyone photographed. Mandy’s second photographer, Chuck, did an awesome job too! He paid attention to detail and captured great candid photos throughout the event. The turnaround time was so quick. We’d had trouble in the past where it would take 10-14 days to get digital proofs. Mandy got us our photos the day after the event! I highly recommend Mandy for whatever you need! You can definitely trust her to provide top-notch customer service, wonderful photos, and a friendly but professional presence.

Amanda is a local gem! Our 2008 girls soccer team booked Amanda for a team photo shoot including individuals, groups and a team composite and her work is amazing. She made all the players feel at ease and capably handled the chaos that is 16 teenagers in cleats in her studio. We were so fortunate to work with Amanda and would recommend her to anyone looking for a media day photographer!

Hyper Kidz is one of our favorite places to visit! My son absolutely loves coming here and always has the best time. There are so many fun activities to keep kids entertained, and it’s a great place for them to run around, play, and burn off energy. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Every visit is a great experience, and my son never wants to leave. I highly recommend Hyper Kidz to any parent looking for a fun and safe indoor play place for their kids!

Such a great indoor play area. Weather it’s too cold or too hot outside. The place is kept clean and sanitized and shoes not allowed. They have an area where you can take a break and eat( they allow outside food). They also have great party rooms. It’s definitely Luna( my daughter) approved .

Hyper Kids is an amazing place for families! The facility is clean, spacious, and has so many fun activities to keep kids of all ages entertained. My children had an incredible time exploring, climbing, and playing, and they never wanted to leave. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. I also appreciated how well-maintained the play areas were and that there was plenty of seating for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their kids. It’s the perfect place for playdates, birthdays, or just a fun family outing. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hyper Kids to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and exciting indoor playground!

Spacious and clean. Nice friendly staff. Lots of engaging activities to keep your kids moving the entire time you’re here. I love the colors and artwork on the walls, very whimsical.

An absolute lifesaver for parents! HyperKidz Ashburn is fantastic. The very first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean the entire facility is, and all the equipment feels brand new and incredibly well-maintained. There is loads of fun packed into this place for kids anywhere from 0 to 10 years old. They have great designated zones so the tiny babies/toddlers can play safely away from the older, more energetic kids. The vibe is wonderful too—it’s a very friendly environment where both the kids and the parents feel welcome and comfortable. It’s the perfect go-to spot whether it’s a scorching hot summer day, a freezing winter afternoon, or any rainy day in between. Highly recommend!

06/06/26 I had an outstanding experience at the LensCrafters location in One Loudoun. The entire team went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service from start to finish. It’s rare to find a team that combines expertise with such a high level of customer care. I truly appreciate the effort they put into creating a positive experience and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality eyewear and outstanding service and repair. Thank you to the entire team for exceeding my expectations!

Wow! I genuinely had a pleasant, enjoyable, and even fun glasses‑shopping experience. Bernard was incredibly helpful and made the whole process feel effortless. He knows the frames inside and out, and his perspective on what suited me was spot‑on. Even though there are LensCrafters locations closer to me, I’ll gladly keep coming to this store. I’m happy with the new glasses I received. I’d love to work with Bernard again.

I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters. Bernard was absolutely amazing—he was knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our questions with ease. He made the entire process smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. Thank you, Bernard, for providing such outstanding customer service and making our visit such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

I am writing to complain about my experience during my eye exam appointment today at 12:30 PM. The white lady (front desk) who assisted me was extremely unprofessional from the moment I arrived. Before properly verifying my insurance information, she immediately told me that my insurance was not accepted. She did not appear willing to take the time to check my coverage thoroughly. Her attitude made me feel dismissed and unwelcome, and I felt as though she was trying to rush me out rather than assist me. What makes this even more concerning is that I went to another LensCrafters location afterward, and they accepted the exact same insurance without any issues. This leads me to question whether my insurance was ever properly verified at your location. I also want to express that, as a person of color, I left feeling that I was treated differently because of my race. I cannot know her intentions, but the way I was spoken to and treated made me feel discriminated against, and that is deeply upsetting. No customer should leave an appointment feeling disrespected or unwelcome. LensCrafters has been my preferred place for eye care, but after today’s experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning. I ask that you investigate this incident, review how I was treated, and take appropriate action to ensure other customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. I paid a lot of money for my eye exam, and after everything, I still cannot see properly with the prescription I received. I understand that I arrived about 20 minutes late, and I take responsibility for that. However, Kiana handled the situation very poorly. She wasted a significant amount of my time going back and forth about rescheduling my appointment instead of helping me. The entire interaction was frustrating, and I felt that my time was not valued. For the amount of money I paid, I expected much better customer service and, most importantly, an accurate eye exam that would actually help me see clearly. Unfortunately, I received neither. I’m very unhappy with the service and the overall experience.

Had the best experience taking my son’s birthday photos with Ellie, she was so patient and did her magic although it’s not the easiest to take photos of a 3 year old. I’ve had worked with Ellie in the past and each experience have been fantastic. If you are looking for a great family/ photographer, Ellie is the one.

She is AMAZING!!!! I have known Ellie for years and always hired her as my go to professional photographer for all my listings in the Northern Virginia region. She has an eye to capture the true beauty of the home. I have seen her work from weddings and other personal events and she is a skilled master photographer at all levels. My clients have hired her services for private events and all I have got is a positive feedback!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Ellie for a family photoshoot, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, Ellie was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. She has a natural ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is no small feat with young children involved. Ellie took the time to understand our vision and had great ideas to bring it to life. Her attention to detail and creativity resulted in stunning photos that truly captured the essence of our family. The session was relaxed and fun, making it an enjoyable experience for all of us. The final photos were beautifully edited and delivered promptly. We were blown away by the quality and the moments she captured. These photos are something we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a family photographer who is dedicated, creative, and a joy to work with, we highly recommend Ellie. She exceeded all our expectations, and we look forward to working with her again in the future!

We had an excellent family photo shoot. The photographer gave clear direction and worked fast, which helped a lot with my young child. The poses looked natural. The lighting and angles worked well for every shot. The final photos looked polished and professional. Scheduling was simple. Communication was quick. The turnaround time for edited photos was short. I recommend this photographer if you want stress-free photos and high quality results.

We absolutely LOVED working with Ellie! Not only is her work amazing, she herself is an amazing person to work with. Finding the right photographer you can rely on to capture the essence and beauty of a wedding can be a stressful task for any bride–especially for a destination wedding. But after just a few moments with Ellie, we knew we were in good hands! she works masterfully with angles and lighting to capture moments in the most creative and elegant ways possible. We loved the way he interacted with us and our guests to make us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved our photographer! she captures emotion at its purest and most candid moments, so that when you look back, you can easily relive those precious moments. Ellie definitely helped make our day feel even more special, and we’re so incredibly happy with our choice of using Ellie as our photographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives. We highly recommend Her!

First time checking it out. Very well stocked and so many tables! It was quite active which was great to see. Love the board game library. We’ll be back!

Very good hobby store. Only complaint is they need more board games. Didn’t use it but the gaming space looked nice and big. Plenty of room for different games to be played at once. Friendly staff.

I was excited to go to a hobby shop for the first time in two years. Went in with my kid and was having a good time until a shorter cashier with brown hair says “I only like kids who aren’t whining and all kids whine” while we are next to the checkout line. This happened on April 26 2026. I am extremely disappointed that being in the store with my kid made my family feel unwelcome.

This place is amazing! Gigantic play space, expansive selection, a friendly and knowledgeable staff with a huge player base. A must see

Excellent gaming area – larger tables available for reservations, just call the store after booking.

Simon provided excellent service and gave us a perfect overview of the venue. He checked in on our table frequently, and his presentation of both the main courses and dessert was fantastic. I will definitely be back with my girlfriend and friends, and we’ll be sure to ask for Simon again!

My fiancé and I came in for dinner to celebrate one year until our wedding date! Our server, Derek took such great care of us. He gave us great recommendations and definitely made our night feel so special! The general manager, Patrick was very attentive. He did a great job, checking in and making sure everything was perfect! 10/10 food and service

Absolutely love coming here for happy hour! No matter what or how crowded I’ve always received top notch service! Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar and ask for Adones! He will give you give great recommendations and conversation!! This place is such a gem! With a great priced happy hour to boot!

We had the BEST time and an amazing Birthday celebration! The ambiance and food were outstanding and our server Rollin was so much fun! He took great care of us from beginning to end! We truly appreciate the experience and can't wait to come back! Thank you!!

This restaurant is absolutely at the top of our list. Not sure where to start but here we go. When my wife and I walked in and were greeted by Aubrey she was very delightful she spoke was very pleasant showed us to our table. This restaurant is very well decorated , very clean , absolutely beautiful and bright inside for a Restaurant. Simon was our waiter and from jump street he was the very best we have ever seen, the 30 years of experience showed in everything he did down to the smallest details. He went through every aspect and detail of the menu. He made his recommendations we tried his and some of ours. We started with Filet mignon potstickers and sweet and spicy shrimp both were amazing the shrimp with the fresh slaw was ridiculous. Then for drinks to start I started with an old fashioned my wife the Barry white and it was delicious. We moved on to salads I did the Caesar / she did the Classic Wedge all dressing were house made and once again amazing even for a dam salad. Let’s move on to the entree’s I did the 32 oz Wagyu Tomahawk ribeye with 6 oz lobster tail the 1 lb baked potato and the sweet potato casserole, my wife did the 16 oz prime bourbon ribeye with 6 oz lobster tail , lobster Mac and cheese , Eddies Brussels sprouts w bacon then the house made carrot cake to go it was at least a serving large enough for 4 . Everything is house made absolutely the best meal we’ve ever had . During all of this Simon was there every step of the way we had the absolute best service ever imaginable. During our meal The big boss man himself Patrick took time to stop by and check on us and have a conversation asking us about the food / service / our experience . Then Tommy the second big boss man did the same as well this type of service from anywhere else is unheard of. I do think I have covered everything if not I will update later. Thank very much for a great experience

One Loudoun is one of our favorite places to go in Loudoun County. It has a great mix of restaurants, shops, entertainment, and open space, so it works for a family outing, date night, or just walking around and grabbing something to eat. We love that there’s always something to do without it feeling too overwhelming. It’s clean, well-kept, easy to walk around, and has a fun community feel. The kids enjoy the space and energy, and there are plenty of good food options for everyone. It’s become one of those reliable local spots where we know we can go and have a good time. Definitely a great destination for families, friends, or anyone looking for a nice place to spend a few hours.

Live near and spend a good amount of time at One Loudoun, great restaurant options and certainly more coming. Eddie Merlots is a favorite, easy to get in and out of and parking is always easy to find! Looking forward to more places opening up and the area developing more!

San martin is the Salvadoran version of Panera Bread. Great market, we buy our sit down breakfast and then visit the bakery for bread and natural, not from concentrate OJ

One of the best shopping areas in Northern Virginia. Lots of interesting places. Parking is easy. There is always something going on there.

One Loudoun is truly one of the most charming and well-designed shopping and entertainment destinations in Northern Virginia. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that it is more than just a shopping center—it is a vibrant community gathering place where people come together to enjoy great food, shopping, entertainment, and a relaxing outdoor atmosphere. The layout of One Loudoun is absolutely beautiful, with its open-air design, attractive architecture, beautifully maintained walkways, fountains, outdoor seating areas, and welcoming atmosphere. It feels like a small town where you can spend an entire afternoon or evening simply walking around, exploring different shops, enjoying the scenery, and taking in the lively energy. The combination of modern design and comfortable outdoor spaces makes it a perfect place for families, couples, friends, and visitors of all ages. One of the highlights of One Loudoun is the incredible variety of restaurants and cafés. Whether you're looking for a casual meal, a nice dinner, coffee with friends, or a quick bite, there are plenty of options to choose from. The dining areas create a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the evenings when the lights bring the whole area to life. It is a great place to relax after shopping or to meet with friends and family. The shopping experience is equally enjoyable, with a great mix of stores, local businesses, and services. Unlike traditional indoor malls, One Loudoun provides a refreshing outdoor shopping experience where you can enjoy fresh air while exploring different stores. A special highlight of this area is Barnes & Noble, which adds a wonderful touch of culture and relaxation to the entire experience. The bookstore is a peaceful escape filled with thousands of books, magazines, gifts, and creative items. Walking through the aisles surrounded by books creates a calm and inspiring feeling. It is a perfect place to spend time discovering new authors, finding a great read, studying, or simply enjoying a quiet moment away from the busy world. The combination of One Loudoun and Barnes & Noble creates a unique experience—one where you can enjoy modern entertainment while still having a place dedicated to learning, imagination, and creativity. Families can enjoy time together, children can explore the world of books, and adults can relax with a coffee and a good novel. Another great feature is the community atmosphere. One Loudoun regularly feels alive with people walking around, enjoying outdoor events, gathering with friends, and creating memories. The area feels safe, clean, and welcoming, making it a place you can comfortably visit during the day or evening. Overall, One Loudoun is one of the best destinations in the Ashburn area. It combines the best parts of shopping, dining, entertainment, and community life into one beautiful location. Whether you're visiting for a meal, looking for a relaxing bookstore experience at Barnes & Noble, meeting friends, or just taking a peaceful walk, One Loudoun offers something special for everyone. A must-visit place in Northern Virginia that perfectly blends modern lifestyle with a warm neighborhood feeling. I would highly recommend spending a few hours here—you won't be disappointed!

My daughter has always wanted to fly! We signed her up for 2 sessions for her 10th birthday and she was so very happy. Our instructor was Libby and she was so nice and patient! The session time goes very quickly but they do say time flies when you’re having fun!

First time visiting. We liked it but probably wouldn’t do it again. The staff was nice and helpful. The space was clean and had a small arcade. Each ride is a minute long. Not bad!

I had a phenomenal experience with all the staff members. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. My only issue is the actual flight time. If each flight is only about 60 seconds, it’s hard to justify driving all the way there and paying that price for only 1–2 minutes of actual flying. I really wish the packages included more flight time because everything else about the experience was great.

All in all, a great experience, however, I feel that over $100+ for 2 minutes is crazy considering I can do real skydiving for $100 and about 10min total time. But my daughter liked it so I can’t complain too much

This is definitely a “do it at least once” kind of experience. I’ve driven past iFLY so many times and always wondered what it would be like, so I’m glad I finally tried it. That said, I probably wouldn’t do it again. I’m also not sure the video package was worth it. At least for me the footage didn’t turn out nearly as cute as I was hoping. 😆

This is the coolest, cleanest kids place I’ve ever been to. Everything is cleaned between the 90 min sessions and reset for kids to play. So many activities for them to explore. The recycling truck and Lego table was a huge hit with my almost 2 year old and 5.5 year old. It’s getting harder to find places that can entertain them both and it was FANTASTIC. The token you get at the front desk for a snack at the end is the cherry on the top! The kids get to pick their snack and everyone leaves at the same time so it makes the transition flawless. Only thing I was expecting was maybe a 5-10 min warning from the staff and to kindly ask if items could find their way back to the original location. Cleaning up after ourselves is a part of learning so I wouldn’t have been offended to have everyone doing it! Thanks so much for a great time!

We had our son’s 3rd birthday party here and it was absolutely amazing. From the communication leading up to the party, to the flow of the party the day of, everything was perfect! The party hosts the day of the party were so attentive and on top of everything, making sure to keep us on schedule without having us feel rushed at all. You can tell they know what they are doing here, even with their simple suggestion of doing happy birthday before serving the food to make sure there were no messy clothes or faces in the pictures! On top of the stellar sevice the facility was so clean and the workers made sure to tidy up throughout the party as needed! As someone who used to host and plan birthday parties my expectations can be pretty high, I can honestly say Playstreet Museum far exceeded my expectations!! To this day I have other parents still talking about my son’s birthday here, and even booking their own children’s parties here as well!

We love the PSM Ashburn branch! The staff are so nice and the toys are quality! The staff work hard to put the toys back in order. I can tell that the space was created to facilitate children’s creativity and exploration. Great activity!!

I hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Play Street Museum, and it was a wonderful experience! She and all of her friends had an amazing time playing together and exploring the different activities. The party host was fantastic very attentive and helpful with serving the food and cupcakes, which made everything run smoothly. I also appreciated how they continuously cleaned up throughout the party, making it easy for the kids to keep playing while ensuring the toys stayed organized and ready for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it was a stress-free experience, and I would highly recommend Play Street Museum for anyone looking to host a fun and well-organized children’s birthday party!

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Play Street Museum, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely amazing! Everything was communicated clearly leading up to the party, which made the planning process completely stress-free. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating the entire time. They truly made us feel taken care of and ensured everything ran smoothly. The space was beautifully decorated and so clean. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the environment. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the celebration — they handled everything! That alone made it so worth it. The kids had the best time, and as a parent, it meant so much to be able to actually enjoy the party instead of worrying about details. I highly recommend Play Street Museum for birthday parties. It was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely be back!

Nice spacious park. Great for toddlers. Had picnic area and swings and also a trail However the restrooms were locked which was huge trouble as our little one had to go bathroom after 20 minutes. Not sure if we will go back because of the restroom issue.

Love this park. Perfect to bring little ones that enjoy playing in the water.

4 playground structures all right next to each other for just walking all the way up to 12 years old. 2 Bathroom stalls (though one wasn’t opening when we were there) and picnic pavilion. Very popular on a nice day. Kids loved it

This place was so much fun for all three of my kids, ages two four and six. I had so much fun I didn’t even take any pictures. Several little playgrounds scattered the park, restrooms, benches, and plenty of space to park. Lots and lots of room to run. Very safe and set far back from any main roads

Very nice clean park. Bigger than I thought it would be. Nice. Get place to walk you dog or yourself. Big playground for kids.
