First time here and I wasn’t even in the building for 5 minutes before I overheard a worker scold a woman for trying on a jacket… she just tried it on over her shirt and this worker (dark short hair) who was hanging clothes walked over to her and rudely told her she can’t do that. The customer informed her another worker told her she could and she looked shocked by this and irritated. I walked over after to ask if I heard right and she confirmed. For goodness sakes, you can try clothes on over your clothing at an actual retail clothing place … but not at a mediocre at best thrift store?? Most of the clothes probably weren’t even washed before being donated. My husband also observed he saw a sign about it being Christian focused. I put what I found away and we left because we both did not want to support this type of business.
Very mean and bad manager.Shes So mean considering it's a Christian based organization.she refused to do exchange for a return I had made yet the policies say within 4 days one can return or exchange. All in all mean mean mean bad hearted . Go and buy at your own risk,,!!!!
I went to the Closet today haven’t been there in a very long time. The place looked very different and unorganized and dirty. I had someone show me a collectible from a locked case. I wanted to buy the lady said I can’t give to you to bring g to register I have to have an employee walk it the registers. This item was 8.00 dollars. There was another piece that I was going to get big when we opened the box it looked like mice droppings. The lady that wither there said we have had problems with mice in the backroom. Buyers beware they have mice problems at the Closet. As I was walking out I took pictures of the front windows, They all need some work, Why would two pieces of lingerie be in a front window during Christmas.,
I don't care who you think you are telling a customer that I have an attitude like when they're like so protective $25 pair of binoculars take it up front so I have to wait on you and then she accuses me of having an attitude when I say that's kind of a stupid policy. Giving me like a smart-ass response back like "you don't have to get them if you don't want to!" I told her back. Yeah actually I don't want to get these cuz of your bad attitude and she's like you have a bad attitude. Best salesman ever...
This is one of the nicest thrift stores I've been to. It was clean and very well-organized. I was especially impressed with the toy section- everything was labeled clearly, sets of items were bagged together and labeled, there was a wide variety of toys, everything was in good condition, and the prices were great. Several reviews mention unhelpful and unfriendly staff. I can say that my experience was the exact opposite. I was there with my energetic four-year-old and had to say, "excuse us," to two different staff people when he excitedly ran in front of them (we're working on it!) and they couldn't have been nicer. At one point I myself accidentally knocked a small recycling bin toy off the shelf, breaking the wheel off. I found the nearest worker to apologize and give them the broken toy. Again, they couldn't have been kinder about it. Eventually, we found an excellent condition Melissa and Doug tool box full of tools, along with a pirate mask and dagger for dress up. When bagging everything up, the cashier handed the mask to my kiddo so he could wear it out of the store. Altogether, the toys rang up to only $4.50, which is certainly less than it would have been at other thrift stores we go to. There was not a large selection of children's clothes, but I was impressed with the variety of everything else they had. I'm glad my friend recommended it to me, I look forward to going back.
