Neurology Associates
Neurology Associates in Lansdowne provides neurological care, though concerns have been raised regarding patient interaction and attentiveness. While the practice may offer medical expertise, reports suggest inconsistencies in communication, particularly in how symptoms are addressed and explained. Delays in follow-ups or diagnostic clarity have also been noted, emphasizing the importance of thorough, patient-centered care.
For individuals seeking a neurologist, it may be advisable to prioritize practices where empathy and responsiveness are central. The office environment and approach to patient concerns play a critical role in treatment satisfaction. Customer Reviews
Neurology Associates has a rating of 2.1 out of 5 based on over 20 reviews on Google
I wish I could have used a 0 for this review. Dr Dulai is the ruddiest person I have ever encountered in my 72 years on this planet. I told him my Mother passed away 3 days earlier and he did not even offer condolences. However, that is not the worst of his rudeness. He does not listen and makes you feel like your symptoms are created in your mind and not physical. He can't wait to get rid of you. I suspect he might have a great deal of expertise and has the potential to be a good doctor, but his bed side manor is a huge problem and will always hold him back. I will never return for future treatments and will seek a doctor who cares. I do hope he reads his reviews and sees the pattern of what others have also said and adjusts his people skills accordingly.
The doctor at this office deserves a ZERO for a review. He was dismissive, condescending, rude, entitled, and disrespectful. That was a horrible conversation where everything I tried to say, before I was interrupted by an unprofessional man, was dismissed as something that, "doesn’t make sense," and, "is ridiculous." I could not finish my story and did not even want to. Not even 5 minutes into the conversation, I wanted to bolt out of there from discomfort. He never gave me alternatives or tried to converse with me in a professional and caring manner. He was rude the second he sat down and rolled his eyes at me as if I had offended him by breathing. This doctor should get his license revoked.
My experience with Dr. Dulai and his team (namely his receptionist) was unquestionably the most unprofessional, ill-mannered doctor's office experience I've ever encountered. I took my mother their based on a referral from the ER, but WISH I had read the reviews prior to doing so. His low ratings are spot on... I highly advise looking elsewhere.
Would give a zero if possible. ER recommended this office. I saw the reviews were poor, but trusted the ER. The bad reviews are spot on. The office staff is incompetent and rude. The doctor dismissed my symptoms as simply a bad migraine, which turned out to be a stroke. This office delayed diagnosis and treatment by over a month. I was denied test results for an EEG that was performed in the office. I was told insurance had not approved an MRI which turned out to be untrue. Found out later from my new neurologist that the standard stroke treatment protocol had not been followed even once the stroke was finally diagnosed. Any one of these things might be excusable or understandable. But all of them combined is negligence. I did not receive adequate care. Thankfully, I had other resources and now have a great team that is competent and caring.
I can not speak for the office as a whole, but the specific doctor I saw should not be allowed to practice medicine. I have a long history of health issues accompanied by a long history of doctor's visits and Dr. Dulai has by far the worst best side manner of any doctor I've ever met. I've never felt so belittled, unheard, or mistreated in my life. For my initial appointment he wouldn't even let me explain my symptoms without interrupting me and treating me as if I was a lunatic and my symptoms were in my head. There was a point where he heavily implied that I should see my psychiatrist and not a neurologist. It wasn't until he performed a physical exam that he started to treat me as if I was actually in need of treatment and even then he still was less than pleasant. I decided to get the testing he recommended and return for my follow up. (I should mention part of my symptoms include memory loss). Upon arriving for my follow up, he was running behind and asked the receptionist after 10 minutes or so if I'd had a specific testing done which I was unaware I'd needed because I forgot about it. He called me back anyways and was exceptionally rude to me about the amount of time it took me to get the two tests done (which cost an exceptional amount of money and I am a college student) and for not getting the other that I had forgotten about. For a medical professional who specializes in neurology to treat someone who is having memory issues the way he treated me for not remembering the other test is unbelievable. I have never expressed any feelings of dissatisfaction before to a medical professional regardless of feeling them until today. Please let me save you some time and never go to Dr. Dulai.
