The worst experience there…. The medicine that they prescribed for to treat recurrent UTI infections has many BAD side effects, I got all of them and I was very sick…. I call on Monday, Tuesday, they have never returned my phone calls, when finally they respond, was the NURSE, she was laughing with people on her backside and did not paid attention to my concerns and painful status, then she continued laughing and said they will call me back….. NEVER HAPPENED!!! I had to go to the office o Wednesday….and the receptionist was very rude with me, she wanted to give me anew appointment with the Dr to discuss the side effects of the medicine named Methenamine HIPP 1 mg, horrible side effects….make me sick and vomiting the whole time… Also an Estradiol Vaginal Cream that, one of the sides effects, is to produce cancer…. No one cares in that office and no one told about the serious side effects of the medicine, I will never come back….

On June 2, 2026, I had a less than satisfactory experience. The organization of this establishment appears to be lacking. I attempted to contact the staff to request that my orders be sent to the Rayus imaging facility, where they typically refer their patients for ultrasounds and other procedures. Unfortunately, I had left my orders at home. I called Potomac Urology and was placed on hold for over an hour. I ultimately had to reschedule my appointment because my call was never answered. I even sent an email, and as of today, I have yet to receive a response. I tried to reschedule my procedure with Dr. Desai at an alternative location, but there is only one contact number available, which is the same number that kept me on hold for over an hour. Furthermore, my name is misspelled in their records and on my portal, a mistake I brought to their attention three weeks ago. During my consultation, the office was extremely crowded. I will be seeking a different urologist.

Dr. Singh was exceptional. He was professional, courteous, friendly and extremely competent. He displayed great interpersonal skills and explained everything clearly. Dr. Singh carefully listened to my concerns and effectively addressed every question. He created an atmosphere of trust and compassion. He had a strong commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction. He consistently displayed positive attitudes and excellent "bed side" manners making me feel at ease. The entire team at Potomac Urology and the Sentara Surgery Center were really great and I highly recommend them to provide outstanding medical care. A special thank you to PA Stella who started my journey with Potomac Urology. She endured my uncooperative attitude at first but succeeded in saving my kidneys and getting me to the stellar care I needed!!!

I’ve had a horrible experience with these people. They never answer the phone no one is ever available. I’m still trying to figure out things when it should be the medical staff advocating for my mother’s health. She needs a procedure done and apparently no one have the time to schedule or even talk about the next steps. I keep getting told i’m going to get a call from a provider and still nothing literally crickets… it’s very frustrating when a medical providers are unorganized.

The doctors here are good. The way the office is run is awful. They change your appointment around and when you do get in you have to wait in a very small and stuffy waiting room which can fill up fast. Some people have to even wait out in the hall. And they have you fill out electronic check in 2 times. Right now its standing room only at 10am. Crazy, plan to wait at least an hour.
