From start to finish GBC provided excellent service. Alan (GBC Ashburn) helped us design two efficient bathrooms. He was also very helpful when selecting the materials and provided a competitive price. Ramon Pineda served as Project Manager and did an excellent job communicating with us daily and scheduling deliveries, permits and work activities. He visited the job site frequently and was knowledgeable with all activities and could answer all of our trade questions. Alvaro Fernandez, the onsite Forman, provided excellent leadership and guidance to all onsite workers. He and the onsite workers provided superior craftsmanship with attention to detail. Everyone was respectful, easy to work with and focused on providing top customer satisfaction. We would definitely recommend and use GBC again for all bathroom remodeling needs.

We recently finished our kitchen remodel with GBC Kitchen & Bath Ashburn and it turned out amazing. Alan did a great job helping us with the design and gave us a lot of good ideas that made the kitchen look much more open and functional. He was always easy to reach and answer any questions we had. GBC just finished remodeling our kitchen. My wife and I could not be happier with the renovation from start to finish. Alan was extremely helpful in consulting on the design of the cabinets, tiles and countertop. Ramon, the project manager, was excellent in keeping us informed about the job's progress as well as addressing any issues along the way. Finally, Alvaro and the crew completed the job in a timely and detailed fashion. My wife and I were very pleased with their workmanship. We have already recommended GBC to a friend who is renovating a bath. It is no surprise to us now why this company receives so many five stars. My husband and I just finished a complete renovation of our master bathroom, and I want to commend everyone at GBC for a job well done! After meeting with several other contractors, it didn't take us long to decide that GBC was the company we wanted to work with. At our first meeting with Alan, we were impressed with his patience and professionalism. He met with us several times and never pressured us into making a decision or accepting a generic suggestion based on price, or what others were doing, but instead gently guided us while learning what was important to us. Ramon's expertise and kindness were much appreciated during all the coordination, and if he wasn't here, he was always reachable. He and Alan worked together to address issues as they arose. There was never any finger pointing amongst them, nor at me when the error was mine. The in-house team of Alvaro, Jose and Lewis was a group who worked really well together and demonstrated exceptional knowledge and craftsmanship. Other than at lunchtime, they never stopped working from beginning of the day until it was time to clean up. Alvaro ranks up there as one of the most skilled, hardest working people, juggling tasks and getting them all done, in all my years working with contractors. Ariel and Sonja did a beautiful job on the tile, each with precision. Aleyna is an effective and personable admin person, with a keen eye for detail and also helped us with our selections. She will continue to be a valuable asset as she grows with the business. Lastly, the contractors used for specialty items (Modern Glass and Craft Countertops) did beautiful and professional work, and I would not hesitate to use either of them in the future. We love our new bathroom and we have already recommended GBC to friends, without hesitation.

We could not be happier with our bathroom renovation! From the design phase through final walkthrough, this team exceeded our expectations. We have 1-year-old twins, and Ramon’s crew was incredibly respectful of nap and sleep schedules — quiet, considerate, and mindful of noise timing every single day. We never once worried about having them in our home around our babies; they were trustworthy, professional, and easy to have around. On top of that, they worked efficiently, stayed on budget, and left the space spotless at the end of each day. We couldn’t recommend Alan, Ramon, and the ENTIRE crew more highly. This was a stress-free renovation experience from start to finish, and the results speak for themselves.

Old, beautiful historic building with amazing staff. We were there for a wedding, and the team went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience. Notably, when one of our bridesmaids felt lightheaded and her insulin dropped, the girl behind the counter gave her a chocolate from her purse to help us. We cannot be thankful enough.

I come to DC a couple times per year and had a Wednesday afternoon to play a round. Despite the heat index today of 101, my request through Invited to play as a single any time in the afternoon was denied as they were "fully committed" because, as Doug said, "we have a large membership here". Okie dokie. My request said walk or ride, and happy to be paired with anyone, ie, fully flexible. Clubs in this network should not do this; it is just bad business and poor marketing. If your club is prosperous enough not to care about that (which no club should presume to be), then don’t be in the network. Do better Belmont and Invited.

I was a guest as a reciprocal playing today. While the course had some rain, it was in fantastic shape. The greens rolled perfect. Would like to see a hybrid tee set up between the blues and whites as that gap is nearly 500 yds. Every staff related to golf were friendly and showed me where to find everything. Only downside was service at bar was a little slow, but maybe it is better when busier. Highly recommend the course

We hosted one of our recent family private events at the Belmont Country Club, and we were very happy with the planning coordination, service, and overall atmosphere during our event. All our guests were very pleased and had a wonderful time as well.

After touring so many apartments, this place made it feel like they really cared about their current tenants and prospective.

Personally, I despise having to add a review, but I have been frustrated and unhappy with my experience at Bell Ashburn Farms over the past year, and it is still ongoing. I have several issues in my apartment that I have submitted requests about in the past, but I have received no concrete solutions for some of them. However, there are two primary issues that need to be addressed. Both the current community manager and the maintenance staff are fully aware of these issues. I have emailed the community manager, but have not received a response. I called today, but I wasn’t happy with the conversation I had with the community manager. Please note that I emailed a few days ago, and the community manager acknowledged on the call that he had seen my email and said he would respond when he was less busy. Basically, he ignored it. I have never been so eager to end a conversation that is going nowhere. Issue #1: We have water leaking from the ceiling to the wall at the hallway entrance of our apartment, and in our bathroom as well. Root cause of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, who I think is trying his best, someone left the laundry washer running for days in the above apartment, which is currently vacant. I have spoken to the apartment community manager, and, to be honest, I am disappointed with his response. Almost as if he wanted to argue with me the whole time I was talking to him about the issues. At first, I did not even know he was a community manager until I requested to speak with the community manager I knew, and he mentioned he was the current community manager for this month. I avoided arguing with him and focused on the issue I am experiencing. Current status of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, fixing the stain and damage to the ceiling and walls will take 1 to a few days. There is no ETA for a repair. The maintenance team proposed a fix of just painting over the stained and damaged ceiling and walls. Disappointing! Issue #2: Since day one of living in the apartment, we have noticed a foul odor coming from the dishwasher. This started on the first day we moved in. At the time, we hadn’t used it. Since then, we have made several requests regarding these issues, and each time I was told to drain the dirty water and use bleach to clean the dishwasher. Even with the temporary solution that was provided to me, the issue persisted. I have fallen terribly ill multiple times after using the dishwasher, so I had to stop washing my dishes and resort to handwashing them and placing them on a dish rack. Root cause of the issue: According to the maintenance staff, the issue was caused by the pipe hose under the kitchen sink being placed incorrectly. Due to that, the water from the sink gets suck into the dishwasher. It took maintenance "one year" to figure out this problem! Prior to this, I spoke with the current community manager about replacing the dishwasher, as cleaning it would not solve the problem. The dishwasher has mold in it. According to the community manager, he said, "I have to talk to the maintenance manager about replacing it. I told him I had done that in the past, and his response was that I had to discuss it with the maintenance manager. I can understand that your work today may be extremely busy, but giving me a solution that you can provide and have fast access to shows that you really do not care if we fall sick or not. The current community Manager don't care whether the issue is fixed or not, even though I mentioned it has been an ongoing issue for 1 year. For the record, I have cleaned it several times with bleach, removed the filter to clean it, and tried my best to do a job I am not being paid for. This is beyond changing the pipe hose (which has been changed in the past, lol); it's now about replacing the dishwasher. I am writing to request that the issues be fixed. We have established that these issues are not my fault but the apartment's fault, so why am I being punished for them? Waiting for a response.

Julep's Kentucky Tavern will someday be 4 stars…..and we enjoyed ourselves…..but it's still unpolished in so many ways. The wings were tasty but dry, fried green tomatoes are marred by a too-thick crust, deviled eggs are kinda bland, yada yada. Nice bar staff but sorta green….asked twice about coffee service and was ignored….not on purpose methinks but just a tad clueless. It's a big joint and most tables were empty on a Thursday night at prime dinner hour….Julep's survival depends on whether they can kick it up a couple of notches.

Loudoun Station is a great local spot with a nice mix of restaurants, shops, entertainment, and places to walk around. It has a clean, easygoing feel and works well whether you’re grabbing dinner, meeting friends, taking the kids out, or just looking for something casual to do. We like that it’s convenient and has enough variety without feeling too crowded or overwhelming. The area is well-kept, walkable, and has a good community feel. It’s one of those places that is easy to come back to because there are several solid options in one spot. Definitely recommend Loudoun Station for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable place to spend time in Loudoun.

Not as much going on as some other areas but it’s a nice little space. They have events all of the time and nice places to eat. I recommend BBQ chicken

Maintenance, specifically Ricardo, provided the best and most professional service. Response time was less than originally estimated. I feel good living in a community where I'm treated as a priority!

Such a great park! I went at dusk to see fireflies and it did not disappoint! I also thought I saw a deer in the pond area and used my night vision camera to snap these photos in low light!

There is no parking lot but there is a little area that will accommodate about 4-5 cars. You could park in the Harris Teeter shopping center across the street and walk over. The road has minimum traffic, safe to walk across.

There are benches throughout the trail but the view is bushes right in front of you. Not sure why the benches are located the way they are. I expected to have a view of the water or some open space.

This is a beautiful and well maintained park. The only downsides are that it's close to a road and there isn't much parking, but those are minor complaints. There is a wide boardwalk going around the pond so that you can circle the whole thing. There are a few places on the path that have park benches where you can stop to admire the view and soak in the sun. You need to check out the wooden promontory, which provides the best view of the pond, and — if you're lucky — the snapping turtles.

This is a beautiful park with amazing views over a wetland lake. The boardwalk is great and provides lots of walking space and has interesting architecture. There are benches to sit on and plenty of lookouts. A great place to go walk and sit.

MAC Design + Build created something truly special for our family. Derek had a vision for transforming our backyard into a space that felt peaceful, beautiful, and connected to our home — and MAC brought that vision to life in the most incredible way. The finished backyard oasis — the deck, patio, and pool — has become my absolute favorite part of our home. We’ve already hosted parties for over sixty people, with friends, family, and neighbors all enjoying the space. It feels welcoming, warm, and perfectly designed for gathering. And on quiet nights, it’s our place to unwind and relax. This space brings us joy every day, and I’m so grateful to the entire MAC team for turning a dream into a place we truly love.

After seeing the MAC sign in a neighbor’s yard, I cold called MAC on a Monday. I met with Justin that same week (after a very helpful conversation with Steve via phone) to go over what we’d like to do in the kitchen. It was a very informative conversation where he explained what would save money and where to spend the money. He listened to what would work for our family and then proposed solutions I hadn’t even thought of – I am very much looking forward to working with MAC.

Big cheers for MAC Design and Build and their team. In particular we want to do a shout out for Justin O'Connell who took a genuine interest in our needs and meeting them. MAC did an extensive renovation in 2021 for our 1986 Colonial Style home in Reston – complete renovation of the main floor (most interior walls removed, completely revamped kitchen, bathroom) and upstairs (new laundry, new master bath, hardwoods). Our home was featured on the Reston Home tour where MACs great work received well earned accolades. I've consulted with Justin subsequently about renovations for another home and just yesterday had him and the MAC team back at our Reston home as we want to get a look at real possibilities for adding space. We look forward to working with them again!

My parents basement was not finished. My Dad had used the unfinished part as a train room where he had the most elaborate model train setup! When I could no longer afford the rent for my townhouse, they offered to finish the basement for me to move into. Enter Derek from MAC design+build! Derek met with me and my parents and helped us figure out the best way to get the basement finished for me in a very short time frame! From our first meeting with Derek to the design meeting and the project managers, everyone kept us informed about the progress and any issues. My new large living space is amazing! The drywall, trim and painting was done so precisely and beautifully that I still haven't hung anything on the walls because I don't want to mess them up! My parents and I did not stress at all during the renovation process since we knew the MAC team had everything covered!

We have just started working with Derek, Justin and team, and it has been a fun and exciting process so far. The team has been thorough and thoughtful to our needs for our addition and has been patient with our needs and in helping us navigate the best use of our space with all the bells and whistles. We very much appreciate the team’s flexibility and their creativity and problem solving for our project. We look forward to continue working together!

The management is excellent – they truly work like a beehive, organized and dedicated. The basketball court is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped. The fitness center is also modern and complete, though its location on the second floor is not ideal; in case of injury or emergency, safe and quick assistance could be difficult. The adult pool is wonderful and fully equipped. However, the children’s pool is very small and lacks interactive features. The seating for parents is also uncomfortable – the benches are hard with wooden backs, which feels more like a penalty than a place to relax 😅. There is only one birthday party room, which feels limited for such a center. Overall, while the design inside and out is modern and impressive, the overall scale does not match the level of Loudoun County, which should be among the very best. I truly wish the children’s pool here could take inspiration from the Chantilly branch, which offers great activities and an engaging environment for kids. That would make this center not only modern in design but also more family-friendly and complete.

The Ashburn Rec Ctr is nice because it is new, however it has some issues that the other PRCS Rec Ctrs don’t. I love that the walking track is so light and bright but surrounding the basketball courts means it is VERY noisy and chaotic. My friend almost got hit by a volleyball while we were walking the track! Not cool. I prefer the quiet of Claude Moore Rec Center track and their more private showering facilities.

Brand new Aug 2025. This place is huge and amazing! Plenty of room to swim laps, play court sports like basketball and pickleball. Take the family at least 1 time to enjoy the pool area that has splashpad type fun and a large area that is only about 9 inches deep, a basketball hoop for shooting while in the water, and a lazy river. 3 sizes of life jackets are available for non swimmers to use. There is a large hot tub right next to the pool for 16 years and older. The locker rooms are very nice and there is a large family locker room with a dozen or so changing rooms and the same number of private bathrooms. The upper viewing areas are very to nice also. They have a huge selection of workout machines and free weights. There is a 3 lane track on the top level also. Parking is usually plentiful but might be tight on a swim meet day.

The New Ashburn Recreation Center is truly a world-class facility! From the moment you walk in, you can tell a tremendous amount of thought went into creating a space that’s clean, modern, and welcoming for all ages. The amenities are outstanding—spacious fitness areas, top-tier equipment, bright studios, and plenty of room even during peak hours. The highlight for me is the aquatic center. The pool is immaculate, beautifully designed, and perfect whether you’re swimming laps, relaxing, or bringing the family for some fun. Temperature, cleanliness, and lifeguard presence are all consistently excellent. The water play features and separate lanes make it easy for everyone to enjoy the space without feeling crowded. Staff members are friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there. The entire facility feels safe, organized, and extremely well-maintained. Whether you’re into fitness, recreation, or simply looking for a great community hub, the New Ashburn Rec Center exceeds expectations on every level. Highly recommend—Ashburn knocked it out of the park with this one!

ARCC is a wonderful gym. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, especially Angela, Rick, Taha and Caroline. Miss Kerin in Kid Kare is the absolute best. My kids would beg to go to the gym every morning. There is plenty of equipment upstairs and the massage room is a nice break after a workout. I loved attending the fitness classes, especially with Doreen and Juju! I definitely recommend this spot to moms who need a break and a great workout.

Lydia has been amazingly helpful and prompt in responding to my queries yesterday! She has gone above and beyond in giving me not only what I was looking for, but also helped guide me with the best way to approach it. Real, caring, and consummate professional! Thank you, Lydia! It is professionals like you that make our Ashburn Village Community so great to live in!

Ashburn Village has many great features. The walking paths, pollinator gardens, the beautiful lakes and fountains are just a few to name. One of the amenities Ashburn Village offers is the Sports Pavilion. Right in the heart of Ashburn Village, this one of a kind gymnasium offers a large indoor pool, basketball courts, a variety of workout classes and so much more. Also, in the Village you will see some historic architecture like the clock tower pictured below. It was recently restored in 2022 and is now in working order. Another reason I enjoy living in AV is because of the people you meet. The community is diverse. Lastly, I am so grateful for the many choices of restaurants, fitness centers, and healthcare options.

The new HOA management is really on top of things and has been completing projects all around the Village, like painting and pruning, refreshing the pools and pool furniture, and installing new playgrounds. The association office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will work with you to resolve any issues, within the HOA by-laws. Alexis is a gem in the Covenants department, and Amy is the go-to person in Membership Services, especially if you’ve just moved in. The HOA has great communications through their email blasts, the Villager magazine and their website. I wish more people would read their Villager magazine, because it has everything you need to know to live in an HOA. I lived in Ashburn Village for over 14 years. It's a wonderful community.

Choosing Tribute at One Loudoun for our loved one has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From day one, the staff has been welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know each resident and make them feel like family. The community is beautiful, clean, and offers engaging activities that keep residents active and connected. Communication with families has been excellent, and it’s reassuring to know our loved one is safe, happy, and well cared for. I had a pleasant interaction with Lamaria concierge personally, but I was disappointed by the way I witnessed her speaking to other staff members. She was friendly when addressing me, but immediately afterward her tone toward her coworkers became demanding and disrespectful. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and gave the impression that employees were not being treated with the same courtesy shown to guests.

My mother in law is at Tribute and she is extremely happy. She loves the activities and she feels very well cared for. We are very pleased with her new home.

Rachael and Julia have been excellent to work with. They understand how emotional this transition is for everyone and they have made my family and me very comfortable.

Do not believe the marketing hype. Before his passing, my dad spent the last three years at Tribute at One Loudoun. For the first couple of years, under the management of Cogir the care was ok…not exceptional by any measure but not neglectful either. When Atlas management took over the monthly bill went up over $2,000 and the quality of care took a significant nose dive. It was neglectful despite many attempts to communicate with various levels of management including the ED. While there are some experienced caregivers and med techs in the building that work very hard, they are few and far between and the experienced staff are shouldering the burden for the other caregivers that have no clue how to work with compromised residents. I supplemented the care with private care because without private care present, my dad would not be helped to get up and get dressed or brought to the dining room for food. This facility’s failure of leadership causes significant staff turnover. When new caregivers come in, they are not properly trained on how to actually care for the residents that are less capable of taking care of themselves without assistance. If your loved one is truly still independent and can take advantage of the activities, the activities team is great. They work very hard to create happiness and activities for residents and that is the only reason I gave Tribute 1 stars. The food is of low nutritional quality and only marginally edible. It meets the minimum nutritional needs of seniors. Atlas management Is profit over people business. Beware.
