Don Beyer Volvo of Dulles

I’d been looking for a specific year/model Volvo for the past 6 months and used Auto Tempest to send me an alert if anything came up in my piece range/mileage within 300 miles. Somehow, I got a notification on a car from Beyer that is actually 400 miles away. Fortunately, I went ahead and decided to check out the car. I contacted Ellie at Beyer, and she’s been nothing but outstanding through the whole process. She took a video of the car’s undercarriage and when I had a concern about something on the CarFax she contacted the dealership where the work was done and got a copy of specifics on what was done on the car. I drove down to Dulles the do the test drive and everything was great, but a check battery light came on after the test drive. Arjan, the service rep, ran some diagnostics and found that the car needed a new battery, so they went ahead and replaced it for me. After I bought the car and was driving back to NY, the traction’s control light came on, so I called Arjan and he walked me through the menus to turn the traction control on. Overall, a great experience and well worth the trip!

I am extremely impressed and please with the hassle FREE car purchase at Don Beyer Volvo at Dulles a couple of weeks ago. The sales person, Justin, was most professional and made this purchase the easiest one I ever had in the past many decades that I been buying cars! It literally took me no more than 45 minutes from test driving the Volvo to driving it out as an new owner. We agreed on a price and he did NOT play games going to "get/talk with the manager" as he made the decision to accept my offer. Extremely professional at all levels. The car is only few years old, but it is in mint condition and I am very pleased. One thing that I noticed with the car when I test drove it that it had ~ a quarter of tank of gas and when I completed the purchase, I noticed the car had FULL gas of tank when I drove it out! Little things like this shows they truly care about their customer an NOT cheap at all! And, I give the finance manager A+ as well for getting the paper work so fast/clear and painless! She was 100% professional.

Alec Alcoseba: I really appreciated Alex staying well after the dealership had closed to walk me through the technology. Car buying is always a stressful process when going into a dealership, but Don Beyer Volvo Dulles and specifically Matt Kesterson were patient, listened to me, and won my business at the end of the day. For context: I was probably one of the most difficult customers they had to deal with given that (1) I was Upset for over 4 years of owning a 2022 Volvo XC60 T8 extended range that had many weekly glitches, recalls and restarts typical of the Android/Google first generation adoption by Volvo for customers widely documented and (2) I was ready to walk away from Volvo to BMW for their reliability and already had a car picked out. I was visiting Volvo to give them a final chance to win me back. And they won my business for giving me an amazing deal that more than met my expectations: I ended up with a 2026 Volvo XC60 T8 Ultra Black Edition that I am loving so far. Also, I like how Matt not only is my salesperson but he also can be my service advisor, and told me if I had any problems just to reach out to him. I think this is a brilliant model for sales reps to also be service advisors since they can have ongoing relationship with the customer. Also, thanks to the entire team and special call out to Jim in finance who was so nice to explain to me what add-ons I should get and we landed on the tire/wheels since I know I've had many of those happen to my past cars. He was no-pressure but really helped make decisions especially after an exhausting negotiation period to settle on the price from sales.
