Shoe Leather Luggage Repair

I brought in a pair of redwings I've owned for 2 years for their first resole. The customer service was great! They finished in under the time frame they gave me, and communicated promptly! Unfortunately their attention to detail was lacking. They left the sanding debris covering the shoes when I received them, the soles were not perfectly cut to the shape of the boot on the right boot, and the new soles had pieces of rubber sole still hanging onto the tread. Not to mention the soles themselves appear dirty, with black streaks across the front of the toe and black speckling on the tread. They did the job, and they repaired some minor stitching, but their price of $160 for sloppy craftsmanship is insane. I could have sent it to redwing themselves for $150 and received better care for less money. If they charged $100 It would be 5 stars, but 3 stars for overpriced under-performance.

I brought 3 pairs of uniform pants to be hemmed, something very simple. So unprofessionally done, didn’t even try to match the color of thread, black thread on navy blue pants? Lines are not even straight, you can see it on my photos. Regret bringing my uniforms here.

Do not bring your handbags for cleaning or repair. They kept my purse for 6 weeks and gave it back to me in the exact same condition they received it. He then says, well it’s suede so not much I can do, then had the audacity to still charge me $50. He does this after he said the charge would be $50 because suede takes time and work, work he clearly did not do. They didn’t even polish the hardware, or clean/condition the leather strap. Absolutely no shame. They even tried to give me the wrong handbag when I first handed them my ticket, insisting it’s mine. A fake looking LV that didn’t even look cleaned or good either. You’ve been warned.

A houseguest's suitcase that will be needed in two days requires 3 wheels to be replaced. I called and spoke with Alex, who told me he'd need to see the suitcase to determine if the repair could be done quickly. We live over an hour away, so I texted a photo. Alex soon got back to me with the technician's estimate, and opinion that it probably wasn't worth fixing given the complexity of the repair. I was very impressed by their friendliness, responsiveness and forthrightness. Five stars for sure!

Have known of this place for years. The owners are friendly and helpful. They repaired luggage after our honeymoon and it's still going strong almost 15 years later. The owner brought back to life a pair of Adidas leather all stars for me. Any safety gear you need for work they have. Most recently they did an alteration to my Loungefly bag. Turned out beautiful.
