Loudoun County Animal Services

It was a very pleasant experience visiting the animal shelter yesterday. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. I also met a beautiful sweet dog who just captured my heart. He settled in his new home after about one hour and apparently realized that this was his home too. What a good boy. He gave kisses and hugs, napped, ran around the yard taking in every corner and the house, played with his toys and had supper. Later he settled in for a long winters nap and slept like a rock. He’s the perfect dog. Thanks Loudoun County Animal Shelter for rescuing Odie. He settled in perfectly here because of your excellent care. No more barking or anxiety and he wants you to know that life is good. ❤️🐾🐾❤️

i adopted a cat from here and the experience was beyond wonderful. The staff were extremely supportive and knowledgeable and everybody was so kind. The process went amazing and I now have a cute fella. I love it, and would definitely recommend coming here. What a wonderful place with so many cute little bundles of joy.

I took a tour with my daughter's Girl Scout troop, and it was great. This was my first time ever visiting an animal shelter, and it was not what I pictured from movies/tv. The place was clean, bright, and very inviting. All the animals looked happy and healthy. The staff was amazing especially our tour guide Henry.

Everyone was absolutely amazing! As in helpful, kind, gentle. The process ran smoothly. Questions were answered with patience. Animals were handled with care. It was a great experience. Thank you, LCAS!

We got a really great kitty but now he is fat and jolly. He’s awesome and you should definitely find your next bank account drainer here/family member here! And make sure to not feed your cat too much food…or else…
