I really appreciate that they have an outdoor space for the dogs, but there’s very limited transparency regarding what happens during daycare or boarding. I have two dogs, and both come home worse for wear as both dogs consistently come home sick from boarding. There’s also no transparency regarding availability which can be frustrating — we were once approved for boarding, but after circling back we were told that we were actually low on the waitlist. While Affectionate is fine for daycare, I think your money is best spent finding a trustworthy Rover or alternative dog watcher for boarding.

Trainer Tom from Affectionate Pet Care comes highly recommended! He has done absolutely amazing work with my dogs and has truly transformed our home. Trainer Tom didn't just help my pups with commands, but also provided a lot of emotional support for them, helping them become more confident in different environments. Not only did he help train my dogs, but also me too, taking time to teach me how to better communicate and read the cues of my dogs. The staff at APC takes great care of our dog, especially Tom Ghobashi, one of the trainers. He has had a dramatic impact on our dog, improving her behavior and making her less reactive. She loves going to APC to see Tom and all her other human friends.

Our dog has the best time at Affectionate Pet Care. He is a high energy dog and they take great care of him when boarding and for day care. We also use their grooming services - Vida is fantastic! She is so kind and great with our dog. He always comes home so clean with the perfect 'haircut'.

We can’t recommend training at affectionate Pet Care enough. We were struggling with our dog’s extreme anxiety and reactivity which caused her to bark, growl and jump at strangers. Tom understood our dog’s personality and tailored the training perfectly. He taught us how to handle her and she is so much happier and content. We also were so pleased with Jenn who helped our dog with increasing her confidence and decreasing anxiety.
