Wonderful practice, staff, office, location. Everyone was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Great communication. I can not thank everyone enough for helping my son heal from his fracture right hip from the moment we wheeled in to the follow-up appointments. I would recommend Dr. Dekis and her staff to anyone. She is the best!!!!

The office and staff were very nice, my daughter and I really enjoyed Dr. Middleholf. But we were given the wrong After Visit print out, so I could not setup My Chart. One medication required an approval; paperwork. I tried multiple times calling, but spoke to no one, or got a return call.

They are disrespectful of patients’ time. They are not good in communicating appointment date/time. We were told to come 15 minutes before our appointment. We did. We waited in the lobby 30+ minutes past our scheduled appointment time.

The doctor that we saw was outstanding, but we weren’t seen until 2 hours past our appointment time with absolutely no communication from the office about I if appointment running behind. We waited for 1:15 in the waiting room, and then another 45 minutes once we were back in the room. The doctor was the only one to acknowledge the wait once she came back. As a parent, I cannot spend 2 hours waiting past an appointment time. I had child care set up for my other child, and work to get back to. I fully understand emergencies come up and doctors run behind, but the office staff should have communicated this; two hours past the appointment time is simply unacceptable without communicating with the patients what’s going on.

after two terrible visits i can confidently say that this practice is a mess. my 3 week old had an orthopedic appointment on 10/29 at 9:45am scheduled through our pediatric. as instructed we arrived at 9:30, 15 minutes early. we were not seen until 11:15am! the practice is split with pediatrics and orthopedics. the jam packed waiting room is way too small to accommodate and with a 3wk old i did not feel comfortable in close quarters for so long around lots of small children- many who were sick. after almost 2 hours of waiting, Dr.Davey in ortho saw us for an examination of my daughters hips. she felt around for maybe 5 minutes, said yup you need an ultrasound (which we already knew) and to schedule it for when she is 6 weeks old as it's too early to see anything now. we got the order form & scheduled her ultrasound at inova fairfax. on 11/19 we had the follow up with Dr. Davey on the results of the ultrasound. she walked into the room and gave her introduction and congrats on my newborn like we've never met before, which threw me off. she also had someone on a live video call on her laptop to "consult the results of the ultrasound" i'm sorry what? the person did not introduce themselves nor have their camera on, it was very unsettling. after doing another examination on my daughter, Dr. Davey said once again that the ultrasound we took was too premature and to schedule another one for another month out. at this point i was visibly upset. she was the same doctor who told us to schedule it last time for 6wks which we did and drove the hour out in traffic to Inova to get it one. she kept talking in medical terms, which i didn't understand, and very quickly like she was in a rush. she then told me to go down the hall again to get another order form for the second ultrasound. when i got there, the ladies were standing around and chatting and building legos. i stood there for a little before they even acknowledged me. they then asked if they can email me the order form and "if it'll be a trouble to print it myself". she read aloud my email which i confirmed and said she'll send it over. it's the next day and of course i still have not gotten it so i can't schedule the ultrasound. this practice will constantly waste your time. if they spent as much time messing around, playing dressing up, and decorating as they should on customer service skills & time management they'd be better. Dr. Davey is very nice and knowledgable in her field, but lacks intrapersonal skills. please speak in plain terms and take the extra second to review last visits notes before entering the room. i am very disappointed and will not be returning for follow up.
