Dr Azad is amazing! By referral, desperately needing help as I was losing my hearing (already had hearing aids but was losing more ability, fast) and constantly on antibiotics for ear and sinus infections, I ended up one of her lucky patients. I probably ran her late for one of her other appointments. I was in pretty bad shape. My head hurt all the time and I was tired and kind of hopeless. I could barely hear her at my first visit. I cried. She cared. I’d seen 3 other specialists in the area and was just getting more antibiotics, then sick again when they were gone and repeat…It took a minute to get an appointment here, but it took 1 appointment for her to see my issues and make a plan. One year and 3 surgeries later, (sinus- left ear and right ear)I’ve not been sick since I met Dr Azad, I no longer need hearing aids, and I feel good. I’d do it again. Thank you Dr. A
Dr. Azadarmaki has been wonderful at treating my ear and nose issues. She found the cause of my ear and nose problems which have been missed by other physicians which potentially could have cost me my life. I am very grateful to have been referred to her.
I initially liked this place and thought it was well worth the hour plus wait for each appointment. It all changed fairly quickly. In one visit, she was scraping at something near my ruptured ear drum and after several yelps and sobbing uncontrollably, she stopped after multiple requests. I had to ask THREE times for her to stop. I never went back to her without a family member present after that. Few months later, I have surgery. Surgery didn’t go as expected and I’m deaf now. Any time I came to her with issues, questions, or concerns after surgery, she became dismissive and told me to get a psychiatrist. She would not even let me finish sentences at this point. She truly made an already miserable time, even worse somehow. It got to the point where my body started unconsciously trembling once I hit the elevator to go up to the office. How she treated me after surgery will forever stay with me. What a disgusting human being.
I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your office. Earlier this year, I had nose surgery, and later came in for my follow-up appointment. I arrived about 10 minutes early, but waited for over an hour with no update. When I asked the receptionist about the delay, she said she didn’t know. Since I had to return to work, I eventually had to leave. Recently, I called to schedule another appointment with the same doctor because I’ve been having heavy bleeding from my nose again. I was told that I could not be seen because I was upset and left during my previous visit. I explained my medical situation and requested an appointment, but my request was still denied. This experience was very upsetting — not only because it involved a post-surgery issue, but because it showed a lack of compassion toward a patient genuinely in need of care. There is no shortage of doctors around; I can always go elsewhere. But what truly hurts is seeing how humanity and empathy seem to be fading in healthcare. It may not matter to your office to lose one patient, but it has deeply affected my trust, and I will not return or recommend this clinic to others. I hope this feedback encourages reflection on how patients are treated — because sometimes, kindness and understanding mean more than
I’m not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Azad saved my life. I drove 8 hours to see her and arrived at her office as an utterly broken person who could not find a doctor to help me. She treated me with nothing but respect and believed in me and my many hours of research and interpretation of my symptoms, when so many other ENTs dismissed me as having "anxiety" and thought that I was being overly dramatic/crazy." She walked with me through literal hell, across two years and two surgeries, the second of which truly gave me my life back. A life I thought I had lost forever. It took a long time to physically recover and even longer to emotionally recover from the injury I sustained, but I made it by the grace of God, the support of family and friends, and the talent, knowledge, and empathy of this amazing surgeon and human being. I would not be here writing this review today writing this long-overdue review had she not helped me, and I remember what she did for me with such gratitude every day. The world needs more people like Roya Azadarmaki. A lot of reviewers take issue with the wait time. I’d set up camp and wait 3 days in the office if I needed to. Seriously. Her staff has always treated me with kindness and I felt valued and heard as a patient. She even met my kiddos and helped my son who developed an ear infection during one of my visits. On behalf of myself, my husband who has his wife back and my sons who have their mom back too, THANK YOU for everything you do. We are forever grateful!!
