Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

After a disappointing experience with the manager at the Purcellville branch, I visited this Ashburn location for a cashier's check. The experience was night and day. The team was fantastic, and the entire transaction was seamless. A special thank you to Jamie (the manager), Lello, and Saima for going above and beyond. I truly appreciate the excellent service!

I tried to setup a business account and I tried online. But i messed up the business type and I had to come to the office. I need the account next week for my business. It was kind of urgent issue for me. Paul helped me solve the issues with his expertise and professionalism. He is a very nice person with both good customer service skill and technology knowledge! Bad place to be in. I have never seen a giant bank acting like this branch. All of the employees are useless. I will never return and closing my account after 25 years

Subject: Disappointing service. As a loyal customer of 43 years—spanning back to the days of Virginia National Bank and Sovran Bank—I am deeply disappointed by my recent visit to this branch. My first negative experience occurred a little over two years ago when my spouse and I applied for a car loan. After sitting down with a representative and reviewing our accounts, we were promised a follow-up. We never received a single communication, forcing us to secure a better loan through a competing bank. About a week after we got the car we received notice that the loan was ready, obviously too late now. Today, I attempted to deposit a check. Since the branch systems were down, I was directed to use the ATM. The machine malfunctioned, failed the deposit, and kept my debit card. When I sought help from the senior banker, she treated me with outright hostility, dismissed my problem by telling me to look at the screen, and walked away. Her dismissive attitude escalated an already stressful situation. I want to commend the branch manager and lady working behind the counter who stepped in to assist. They were polite, successfully processed my deposit, and ordered a replacement card. However, a senior banker should lead by example, not mistreat decades-long customers. Obviously the senior banker was already irritated by the system being down and decided to take it out on me. Because of this branch's consistent failures, I am now considering auditing my accounts to transition my banking relationship elsewhere.
