This is our second season with Clearwater weekly maintenance service. We absolutely love these guys and look forward to their visit, almost like friends coming over. Our Lab thinks they are there for him! They keep me in the loop with ABGs and chemicals. They include a check list and a photo along with a personal note. From the very first visit, I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism, honesty, and dedication to helping us get our hot tub back up and running. They truly did everything in their power to diagnose and fix the issue during that first appointment. They tested everything thoroughly, checked every possible cause, made phone calls when needed, and worked hard to find the best solution. It was obvious that they genuinely care about their customers and don’t want to waste your time or your money. In a world where customer service can be hit or miss, Clearwater exceeded my expectations. Even after just one experience, I can confidently say that I would highly recommend them. We have used Clearwater exclusively over the last few years and we are very happy with them. We recently had our liner replaced, and their team kept us informed and updated. When they came to install the liner, they answered all my questions. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and wanting to make sure I understood if I had any questions. They were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend them

We bought a Bullfrog A7L spa at Monarch. The tub is very nice. Service was amazing! Set up was quick and easy.

On a Saturday morning our pool vacuum broke so we went to Monarch Pools, they were busy, but we waited our turn and Len showed us the vacuums he had in stock and made his recommendation; we couldn't be happier with his choice. I think I’m going to find a new pool supply company. I opened my pool on Sunday took a water sample and the female rep there was not helpful at all. She tested my water all the while, having a complete attitude and then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t evaluate my levels because my pool had not been open 48 hours and to come back tomorrow. If she bothered to notice, my address is in the South Stafford area and it’s not quite that easy to go to 610. Had she let me finish, I would’ve explained to her that it had been open 48 hours But she dismissed me and sent me on my way. I needed supplies and I knew roughly where my levels were so I went up to the counter and spoke to a gentleman and he was very helpful and got me what I needed. It’s not worth the hassle to have to face this again, so I will be going elsewhere.

Outstanding service all around. I was given multiple reminder notifications of my scheduled appointment (even an "we’re on our way text), and the service was probably one of the most thorough pool openings I’ve had. The pool was methodically vacuumed, ensuring it will be ready to use very quickly. Solomon checked in before and after and answered all my questions. This is what top notch service looks like!

Driver almost hits me and almost ran me off the road! Worst part is that there was also a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk that could have easily gotten hit, if something bad did happen. There is also another review that something similar happened to someone else a couple weeks back. If someone with some common sense in this company doesn’t the change the DRIVER then they will have some serious trouble in the future that could be fatal. They need to hire drivers who hold a bit more skills than the average Maryland driver. Let's maybe not disrupt the flow of traffic and then jam on the brakes to make a turn without indicating.

Trusted this company with our brand new pool and they ruined our diamond brite finish, let the hardness continue without telling us, closed the pool with water too low on the tanning ledge so the ice froze and lifted off chunks and took no accountability at all. They just kept telling us to keep dumping more and more chemicals -(we were buying our chemicals from them) even hardness increaser! Thousands of dollars in repairs and it will still never be the same. Before and after photos attached

Usually we close our pool ourselves but everyone was busy. What it cost me to close my pool I hope to save in energy not having to run my pool until we could get it done. Thank you Gallagher for offering this service.

We had a hot tub and now in-ground pool from Gallaghers (they were SO patient and helped us every step of the way!) and can’t say enough good things! Very friendly and accommodating staff that treats you like family. Fair prices and huge selection of chemicals, accessories and outdoor furniture! Josh and the whole crew really are the Best!! They’ve been great help all summer for this first time owner of a new pool. Advising me on treatments needed and why. I had them close the pool for me for the winter. Again, everyone was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend them. They also Advised a winter cover to prolong the life of my automatic cover which they installed.

It’s a sad day when the pool closes but I always appreciate the knowledge, courtesy and the general work the technicians do. They also keep us in the loop on the condition of the pool and equipment which is also appreciated and well taken. Thanks guys!

Outstanding customer service and technical support by the Jessup service team! As a long-time Anthony and Sylvan pool owner, their Jessup service department is the first place I call when I have questions or need reliable service and warranty support for our 18,000 gallon in-ground swimming pool. Although I'm a pretty good "pool boy" in my household, I needed some expert guidance from a real person – not a chat bot. Anthony and Sylvan service advisor Matt Hughes patiently explained how to use "service mode" to lower the water level in our spa, and then how to return the system to auto mode. Kudos to Matt for his superior knowledge and patient customer service skills! Much thanks also to service department scheduler Allie Moser for calling me back after I left a voicemail message (not the usual outcome in today's world) and facilitating my connection to Matt. Thanks again!

I do not recommend Anthony & Sylvan. The pictures speak for themselves on my plaster work. They 100% subed out the work on my pool. Anthony and Sylvan showed up to quote the job, and the next time we saw anyone from the company was 6 weeks after the job was already complete. No oversight.

Great work constructing new pools. I had posted a critical review of never being able to speak with a live person for customer service and my on-going frustrations… then I had the good fortune of finally getting hold of a live person and the experience was fantastic! Aly M., saved the day and probably saved me from looking elsewhere for pool services. Not only was she able to help with all of my questions and pool service needs, she was professional, thorough and 100% provided exactly the assistance that I needed. I am very grateful for her help. To be honest, when I have been able to deal directly with an A&S employee, they have always been friendly and helpful. The technicians who open and close my pool have likewise been excellent. The problem has always been finally getting through to a live person, and doing so in a timely manner as opposed to after multiple attempts. If A&S could drastically improve the automated customer interface and make it easier and faster to speak with a LIVE person, I would definitely rate the overall company higher. As a result, my five star rating reflects now only reflect my interaction today with Aly M.

Wow! What an incredible experience and journey we took with A/S for our backyard oasis. It all started with a beautifully designed pool, patio, and outdoor spaces with Brian A. Then the entire "in-house" team at A/S and their responsive ability to schedule everything as if they were a Navy Seal Team!!!! Then we get introduced to Phillip LaClair and man, what an absolute joy to work with. His attention to details and "knack' for every single operational process made every visit something to look forward to because you knew progress was happening–and getting done the right way. So many great people along the way from the digging, re-bar, gunite team was incredible, plumbing and electric guys were top notch, gas meter folks!!!, etc –the patio team was excellent, and the team that finished the plaster were genuinely as excited as we were to finally get it all done!!! Heck, even the 2 guys that delived to water were excited for us!!! Due to colder than expected weather late Fall, we wern't able to get the plaster done until last week. Totally worth the wait!!! Phillip was able to keep his routine buttoned up and checked on us (and the pool shell) all winter long. Pool School was a ton of information but Phillip made it simple for us and we are now seeing all the beauty in owning a pool and enjoying our Oasis! Even though we can't jump in–yet– it is simply awesome to look at it and relax!! Again, thanks to all the folks behind the scenes that made it all possible–and you are in great hands with Phillip LaClair!!

I can report a six star experience thus far. Our designer, Mark Mustacchio was most helpful in helping us design our dream pool. He gave us numerous options and was extremely patient with answering all of our questions and concerns. We decided to proceed and we were assigned a project manager. Thankfully, we were assigned the best project manager ever to build pools. Gregory Anthony pays attention to the most minute details possible. He is always available to answer questions or concerns and visits the job site when a new phase of the pool construction occurs. Our pool construction started as winter started and they have been able to work in conjunction with the good weather. The construction is moving along as anticipated. The pool is looking great and we are most excited for its completion over the next several months. This is only a progress review and when the project is completed, I will leave another review accordingly. My pool construction is completed. We have had the opportunity to enjoy the pool for the last two months. It was well worth the wait. I say wait because all in it took almost 8 months from start to finish. A good deal of the delay was not the fault of Anthony pools. It was related to creative landscaping. They were on site for parts of 10 days, but it took them over three months to get the 10 days of work done. Throughout the entire process, our project manager, Gregory Anthony was a shining star. He is great to work with, he communicates well and when he says that he’s going to do something he gets it done. A few concerns regarding Anthony pools. Make sure you know what you are getting regarding any extras for your pool. I wanted a pool railing for the step area and the way that it was installed the railing sticks out into my pool approximately 10 inches. It is one step above useless. Previously, I had a pool in Scottsdale Arizona with a pop-up cleaning system. It was great, however in Arizona there is much dust that blows into the pool so it was something that was necessary. I asked for it for this current pool and after it was built, it was commented to me that system is almost never used in West Virginia as it is not necessary. I spent a lot of money on something that someone should’ve told me was unnecessary in the geographical location where my pool was being built. The plaster finish color is two tone or three tone. This will be addressed next year when they open the pool at which time they will do an acid rinse to hopefully make the plaster color more even. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the finished results and hopefully we will enjoy the pool for many years to come. I believe it to be well constructed and a good quality pool. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose Anthony and Sylvan pools. However, only if Gregory Anthony was my project manager!

My customer service experience here was amazing! I spoke with a lady named Amy. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. She was able to answer all of my questions, and was patient with me as I am a new pool owner, and had a lot of questions. She gave me suggestions and recommendations on how to make sure my pool water stays clean and healthy. There was a little bit of residue from the air settling on top of the pool and she recommended using a pool skimmer and it works perfectly. So happy with my new pool! I will definitely be calling Amy again if I have any issues in the future!

Amy Stouffer is seriously the best! She’s so knowledgeable, patient, and always takes the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people and making sure they get exactly what they need. Every time I’ve worked with her, she’s been incredibly kind, helpful, and just a pleasure to talk to.

Amy has been such a huge help through our pool process. She’s knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cares about helping people. Our pool was in rough shape and she helped us with everything from getting a quote for a new liner to coordinating water for the refill. She also taught me how to properly maintain it by having me bring in weekly water samples and explaining everything in a way that actually made sense. If you need someone honest, reliable, and experienced in the pool industry, I definitely recommend Amy and the team at Marlboro Pools!

I used Semper Fi today for my gutters and pressure wash all around my pool and patio. I've been doing it myself for years and have never gotten it this clean. Amazing work, highly recommend and will have them back to do my house (and gutters again) in the fall. Also discussing window washing and driveway seal.

Excellent communication before, during and after the job was completed. He recommended a driveway cleaning for a reasonable price and Im glad we took him up on it- they did excellent work and cleaned up everything once finished. Would recommend to friends/neighbors and would use again!

Semper Fi did an amazing job cleaning all of our 30+ windows and screens inside and out! Their communication is excellent and they keep you informed when they will be there. Our windows sparkled when they left! Highly recommend them!

I will absolutely use Semper Fi Home Solutions again. Robert communicated throughout the process, let me know when they would arrive and they were early! That’s a plus. Explained what they were going to do as we walked around the house, he pointed out everything to set my expectations. Then he provided a time frame for how long the work was going to take, and met the timeframe and did great work! Very professional outfit. I would highly recommend using them.

Robert was extremely responsive, communicative, and professional. I received my quote within an hour of my online request. I had a date scheduled very quickly after accepting the quoted. Robert and his team arrived as scheduled. Robert walked my property before starting cleaning gutters and power washing to make sure he understood my property’s problem areas. He also walked me around after he finished to show me what to look for in the future. Gutters, house, and patio look awesome!

The pool supervisor, Pool Manager and the Assistant Pool Manager, consistently go above and beyond to ensure both our safety and our comfort. They are always attentive, friendly, and welcoming, creating an atmosphere where residents truly feel valued. What makes their service especially remarkable is the personal attention they give to everyone. They know our preferences, such as where we like to sit, and thoughtfully raise the umbrellas to provide shade exactly as we prefer. These small but meaningful gestures make us feel like VIPs and enhance our enjoyment of the pool. Their commitment to safety, combined with their kindness and genuine care for the residents, deserves to be recognized. They are outstanding representatives of our community, and I hope they receive the recognition they have earned for their exceptional work.

We love our High Sierra guards! They are professional, very friendly, and follow our pool rules to keep all members safe. They have an incredible work ethic-always on time, never call out and very responsive to the Board and members. Members have commented that our water has been very clean since we hired High Sierra three years ago.

Hello, I’m a frequent pool user at Newport Village in Alexandria and I just wanted to say thank you to the entire team for the great service! The pool always looks spotless and lifeguards are doing a tremendous job!

We currently utilize High Sierra as our service provider for the seasonal outdoor pool here in our community in Centreville VA. They have been our provider for the last 3 years, and we intend to continue with them. As with any community and contractor relationship, there are issues and misunderstandings, but we've been able to work with HS to resolve those when they've come up, and HS has worked very hard to maintain the relationship. 99% of our guards have been from out of country, (nature of the business) and that does come with it's communications issues as well. Community Managers need to put effort in to make the relationship work (you cannot be hands off) – and HS does step up to address concerns when you raise them. One suggestion I can give to HS is that there can be better communication on when lifeguard substitutions are being made. Substitute guards often don't have the daily operational knowledge the normally assigned normal guard does. I can give a solid recommendation to any community considering changing vendors next season- to call High Sierra and give them a chance. Great Job High Sierra!

A Complete Failure of Professionalism, Supervision, and Service ★ 1 Star As a condominium owner whose family has been part of our community for approximately 40 years, I have serious concerns about the level of service High Sierra Pools is providing at our property. The pool and surrounding areas have been noticeably dirty and poorly maintained, including the chairs, umbrellas, and surrounding equipment. Of only six umbrella areas available to residents, I have observed lifeguards occupying two with their personal belongings, effectively taking over one-third of the available shaded areas. The professionalism is equally concerning. I have personally witnessed a lifeguard dancing around the pool with a Bluetooth speaker while people were actively swimming. Our recent experience made these concerns considerably worse. Two lifeguards, one who could not sufficiently communicate with us in English and another who was only 15 years old, turned what should have been a simple pool-access question into an approximately 90-minute ordeal. The situation began before our guests even arrived. Our passes and their validity were questioned, and property management and security were contacted. We had enough valid passes for our entire group. One pass was subsequently lost while in the lifeguard's possession, which the teenage lifeguard acknowledged. High Sierra staff called property security themselves. Security ultimately told us we could stay and use the pool. The lifeguards then told us security had nothing to do with the pool and still refused us access. It made absolutely no sense. Several four-year-old children were left crying while this continued. We repeatedly asked to see the written rules being cited, but they were never produced. We were also repeatedly threatened with the police. I finally told them to please call the police if they believed we were doing something wrong. They did not. We eventually left our own community pool and went elsewhere. I have video documenting portions of the incident, including the inconsistent enforcement of passes and other pool rules after our departure. Rules should exist in writing, be communicated clearly, and be applied equally. Staff should also be properly trained and supervised so a routine interaction does not escalate into a 90-minute ordeal involving management, security, threats of police involvement, and crying children. Based on my firsthand experience, I cannot recommend High Sierra Pools. I would strongly encourage property managers, HOAs, and condominium associations considering this company to carefully evaluate the staffing, supervision, maintenance, and professionalism they are actually receiving.

We used Anchor Poolscapes for pool service this summer and the experience was excellent! For me, communication is key, and it was there, solid and dependable. Any time I had a question or issue, Jason responded quickly. Weekly service was excellent, and I really, really appreciate the reports and photos with every service. I love always having a crystal clean pool and feel in very good hands with Anchor Poolscapes. I'll be continuing with this company for sure. Happy swimming!!

We had a great summer with Jason and Anchor pools at the helm! Amy time we had a question or an issue Jason responded quickly and took the time to educate us about our pool. Warranty issues were honored and resolved immediately. Weekly services were performed professionally and timely. This is the first summer we had smooth sailing and we thoroughly enjoyed our pool. Our experience this past summer has been wonderful!! Everyday we came out to the pool and the water was blue and sparkling!! If there ever was an issue it was taken care of immediately. The owner and his sons took great pride in the company and strive to keep the customers happy.

I hire Nachman Pools to install my fiberglass pool in my small backyard. Everything looks great and beautiful can't wait for next season. They did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Nachman Pool Services has been fantastic from beginning to the very end! They honestly treated us as though we were family. They were extremely patient with all of our questions and informative during the entire season. They opened our swamp and washed it until it was as good as brand new! Then they helped us keep our water running smoothly all summer long! The Nachman Pool Services family is extremely courteous and considerate! They are always willing to go the extra mile. Now that the swimming season is over, they've returned to close my pool and explain some more details to me. Nachman Pool Services is the most accommodating and courteous company I've ever worked with. The staff was very kind to my kids, too! I'm super excited to do so again next year. You can count on them with anything regarding your pool. %100 recommend them for anyone looking for pool installations!

Extremely disappointed. Very unprofessional. I recommend using any other business but these guys. Bad business! Update and answer to business’ reply: The work was not done under my name, I live in the home where the work was done here in Purcellville. Poor customer service and work done on the pool. Once again, I do not & will not recommend Nachman Pools to absolutely anyone.

Our overall experience,in fact our ENTIRE overall experience was of the highest quality due to their friendly, accommodating and responsive approach to their clients. They treated us like family. And that’s the way we’ve always treated the clients with whom we do business. A ‘quality’ organization is worth sticking with.
