Very happy with this place. The lady is extremely nice yet profesional. My husband got his tux there and it was the best tux he’s ever had. I got my pant hemmed them and put a rush on it. She didn’t charge me and she even took my wedding dress measurement for free. I found my go to tailor in Loudoun county❤️

Easily the best suit shop in the DMV! I rented a suit here for my best friend’s wedding, and the entire process was seamless. The suit arrived in just a few days, and they even handled the alterations right in front of me to make sure everything fit perfectly. The service was amazing from start to finish. I won’t be going anywhere else for future suits or fittings!

Had my wedding dress altered there May of 2026 and they did exceptional work even with a short window. They are professional and take a lot of time to make you feel like you are their only customer despite being very busy that time of year. My only recommendation would be for an expensive service make sure to clarify pricing details, as we had a slight miscommunication. It did not take away from how professionally I was treated even when we disagreed about a pricing detail, and they quickly made it right with me. Because of how I was treated I would highly recommend their work and 10/10 customer service.

I highly recommend Zarif’s Custom Tailor! When I moved to the Leesburg area, one of the things I needed to find was a great tailor. I had been going to the same tailor in Washington, DC since 1991, so after more than 30 years with someone whose work I trusted, my expectations were pretty high. Then I found Zarif. From my very first visit, Zarif made me feel welcome. She’s warm, funny, down to earth, and an absolute pleasure to work with. More importantly, her work is impeccable. I’ve brought her a number of items over the years, and I’m consistently impressed with the quality of her alterations, her attention to detail, and the care she puts into getting things right. I’ve also invested in custom clothing over the years, including timeless pieces that are still in excellent condition today. As I’ve become more intentional about my health and fitness and my size has changed, Zarif has done an outstanding job altering my clothing so that it continues to fit and look the way it should. That’s one of the things I’ve come to appreciate about having a truly skilled tailor. Zarif doesn’t simply alter clothes—she helps me continue to enjoy quality pieces I’ve invested in for years. And while Zarif isn’t inexpensive, her prices are fair. I’ve learned that true value isn’t always about paying the lowest price. I honestly can’t recommend Zarif’s Tailor enough. My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember. My mom started bringing me with her when she was having her work clothes tailored, and now, years later, I still wouldn’t trust anyone else with my alterations. Like my mom, I’m petite, so almost everything I buy needs to be tailored. Zarif has altered countless pieces for me over the years—from homecoming and prom dresses to graduation outfits, wedding guest dresses, and everyday clothes. Every single piece has fit beautifully, and her attention to detail is incredible. As my body has changed over the years and I’ve gained and lost weight, she’s always been able to make my clothes fit perfectly. She has an amazing eye for tailoring and somehow always knows exactly what needs to be done to make a garment look like it was made specifically for me. I went to this tailor’s home (that’s were she does her business) and brought 3 Aritzia pants to be cut about 3 inches shorter. She had me tried 2 of them, she put pin at the bottom where she would hem and then I took them off. She then told me she would charge me $50 per pants. That didn’t make sense to me as I thought going to her home would be cheaper and the day before, I was at Zarif tailor for another Aritzia pant I needed hemmed the same day and they charged me $30. So this lady charging me $50 at her home seemed too much to me, I told her and said I would just take the pants home. I took off the needles she temporary put on the pants and gave it to her. She said she still need to get $25 for coming and not getting service. Which she didn’t tell me before when I called her and texted with her for her address and parking instructions. Overall nice but it all just seem like a rip off. She measured my waist and hips with her tape which took 10 seconds so I was maybe okay paying the $25 but, Zarif tailor, an actually tailor business measured my bust for my wedding dress for free and charged much less. She was nice but again avoid this place if you think she might me a little cheaper given that she is operating from home. A great tailor in Loudoun county is Zarif in Leesburg.

Seela has done a wonderful job with my alterations. Always responsive, very accommodating, excellent at her craft. She is extremely easy to work with!

I came to Seela with a pretty last minute request to get a bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding and she did a wonderful job taking up the shoulder (which I hadn’t even realized would need to be done but it fixed a problem I didn’t know I had) and hemming the length within 2 weeks to get me my dress on time to fly out of town! Her communication was very timely, she was so sweet, and I really enjoyed my services with her. Would definitely go to her again!

Seela is an absolutely amazing and skilled seamstress. I took my wedding dress to her for alterations because it was a few inches too small and a strap needed repairs. This required several layers to be added, with colors matched, which she then beaded and decorated to match the rest of the dress. She also remade the crystal lining across the waist, and designed new straps that she made and beaded by hand which matched the dress SO much better than the original. The dress feels more secure, more coherent, and I’m so glad I found and trusted her with my dress. It feels much more like my dress after her work. I plan to return to her with other garments in the future for as long as I live in the area.

Seamstress Seela did an amazing job hemming, taking in, and adding a bustle for my train. My dress fit okay before, but her alterations made it feel just like a glove! It truly made me feel beautiful 😊

Some people said she was unpleasant. What I saw was a successful small business owner who is highly skilled, runs a tight ship, and tells you like it is. She probably just doesn’t have time for nonsense. She’s just real. Fair price for great work. She’s cool, and is juggling a lot. Just be kind and loving and she’ll take care of you. Thanks Dana! I have used Dana several times and all have been WONDERFUL! I have taken in pants, skirts and even a vintage cloth purse I messed up in the wash and she did a beautiful job fixing it. She is a one woman shop so I really appreciate the work she does. She has wonderful communication and sometimes she doesn’t answer the phone but she will get back to you. One woman doing it all guys! The owner, Dana, is very nice. I have taken a pair of pants and a jumper to her to be shortened and she had no problem with the material. I also found her prices to be reasonable. She works alone so it took longer for me to get my items back but will definitely take more items to her.
