Dr Strongin is very knowledgeable. She has an excellent bedside manner. She made me feel like an active participant in choosing the best alternatives for treatment as she provided multiple alternatives. I trust her. And, the rest of the staff is friendly and helpful.

As always, Doctor Park is incredible, a great Medical provider. He is always friendly, thoughtful. He always listens and asks me questions and puts my concerns first. I cannot speak more highly of him. June 9, 2026 I would like to express my concern regarding the front desk which has NOTHING to do with my prior review regarding doctor Park treatment/care. My family and I have been coming to Capital Digestive Care since a very, very long time! Sadly, I have agree with most of the complaints in the reviews posted here! Your scheduling system is the worse! I have left several messages as requested by your telephone tree since it would not allow me to reach a human, after calling for a whole week! Of course, NEVER got a call back. Therefore, I personally went to the office at 9711 Médical Center Drive. As soon as I approached the window and told the receptionist that I wanted to make an appointment she rudely without looking at me told me to do it online. I got very frustrated and replied that I have been trying to do that for a whole week with no luck to which she replied "take a seat" When I turned around there was a lady behind me and said to her I am here for the same reason. Perhaps, instead of apologizing to everyone who complains you should do something about it once and for all. Show some respect to us the patients and stop this nonsense. Thanks

My experience has always been professional and efficient from the doctors and staff. I've been coming to this practice for quite a few years and would not think of going anywhere else if I was in need of their expertise now or in the future. When I have called the office the staff really takes an interest in my problem such that I had recently and got me into see Dr. Park as quickly as possible. When I saw him he already knew about my problem and was ready to help. Now on my way to solving the issue that I am having. I am very grateful to Dr. Park and his staff. Thank you. Ann Georgilas

Capital Digestive Care ( CDC) is a volume based practice without a personal touch. After my visit, I haven’t been able to have a live conversation with the medical provider. All communications are thru the portal with delayed response times. I get prescription notices from cvs with no advance communication from CDC. Getting explanations for why the prescription is necessary and what condition it addresses is difficult at best. My overall impression is that they try to maximize their revenue by processing as many patient transactions as possible in the shortest amount of time, at the cost of poor patient relationships.

Avoid this office if you expect compassionate care or competent communication. I called Capital Digestive Care after vomiting for two weeks, making two trips to the ER, and being unable to keep food down. The woman who answered the phone was rude and told me the first available appointment with a physician was weeks away. How is someone with symptoms severe enough to require multiple ER visits supposed to wait weeks to see a doctor? If this office can't provide timely access to physicians, maybe it should reconsider continuing to accept so many new patients. I ended up seeing a PA. She was pleasant enough, but the appointment felt like a complete waste of my time. At one point, she entered my symptoms into an app on her computer and told me that "nothing comes up." That was incredibly discouraging to hear. I didn't make an appointment with a gastroenterology specialist so someone could type my symptoms into a computer and tell me an app had no answers. I was hoping for clinical judgment and a thorough evaluation. The only test that was ordered was an endoscopy. No other testing was discussed, including something as straightforward as an H. pylori breath test. The final straw was trying to contact the office afterward. I called to ask about getting tested for H. pylori and could barely reach anyone because of the endless phone system. When I finally got through, the person who answered was rude and sent me right back into the phone menu. It was so frustrating that I drove to the office in person. When I arrived, I explained through tears that I had been vomiting for weeks and could barely eat. Instead of showing any compassion, the front desk employee sighed, rolled her eyes, and told me to take a seat. Asking about an H. pylori breath test was treated like I was making some outrageous demand. It's a common, noninvasive test, and I simply wanted to ask whether it was appropriate in my situation. Instead of answering my question respectfully, I was asked whether I thought I knew better than the PA. That response was completely inappropriate. I wasn't claiming to know more than anyone—I was advocating for myself because I was still very sick and looking for answers. Between the rude phone staff, the dismissive front desk, and an appointment that ultimately left me feeling no closer to a diagnosis, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I'm still sick, and now I have to start over with another gastroenterology practice because I lost valuable time here. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for timely, compassionate, patient-centered care. I will not be returning.
