Can’t recommend Dr. Gupta enough. He is amazing. I’ve had gastro issues for 10 years. He performed a number of tests that no doctor has previously (every doc just says gastritis and sends you on your way) and discovered an obscure issue with my esophagus. I’m off of Prilosec and can drink coffee again. Thank you, Dr. Gupta!

Friendly staff clean exam rooms and waiting area. I didn't have to wait half the day to see the doctor.

AVOID THIS UNPROFESSIONAL & TERRIBLE GASTROLOGIST! Dr. Ghanshayam Gupta, the owner & the main Gastrologist of this practice, TRULY tends to ALL of his Appointments, including his scheduled Colonoscopy Appointments at Shady Grove Hospital, as if he is practicing in remote areas of his native country of India!! Also, Dr Gupat's Electronic system at this practice cannot be more antiquated, as he is way too cheap to even acquire connection to the EPIC system, when most other Gastrologists & Physician do! Like Dr. Marc Kozam, another Gastrologist nearby Dr. Gupta's practice. This is TERRIBLE as this practice cannot look up their prospective new patient's previous Colonoscopy, etc. records on the EPIC system! As so, this Dr. shoots in the dark treating his patients, without the knowledge of such vital records. Moreover, Dr. Gupta is chronically as LATE, as even as late as a couple hours, for all his Appointments! Even for his Hospital scheduled Colonoscopies! He was LATE over two hours for my very 1st appointment with him (not at all due to any emergencies)! When I expressed my dismay over this, he just dismissed by saying "we are very busy"! Dr. Gupta was LATE over 90 Minutes for my scheduled Colposcopy at Shady Grove Hospital! When I called his office to complain about this, his office Mgr. casually told me that "he is seeing a patient right now, then he has another patient o see before he will leave to come to the hospital"!!! On my scheduled day of Colposcopy many of the Hospital staff, including the Anesthesiologist who had prepped me a good while ago for my intended Colposcopy with Dr. Gupta, expressed to me their dismay with this Dr. Gupta for being chronically LATE for ALL of his scheduled Colonoscopies! Yes, Even the Hospital staff are fed up with his chronic tardiness! Weeks later after my Colposcopy which this Dr. had performed an incomplete job of it, when I had complained of bleeding issues, I learned from his office Mgr. that he has INTENDED to give me a Perscription at the hospital after my Colonoscopy to avoid such possible bleeding and he completely FORGOT to do so! Subsequently she called this prescription to my pharmacy a couple of weeks LATE!
