NoVa Foot and Ankle
NoVa Foot and Ankle in Herndon offers specialized care for a range of podiatric concerns, with a focus on diagnostic precision and tailored treatment plans. While some patients highlight the thoroughness of consultations and the expertise of providers like Dr. Diep, others report inconsistencies in follow-up communication and administrative processes. The practice emphasizes personalized attention, though individual experiences may vary based on specific needs and expectations.
Patients seeking compassionate care should prioritize clear communication about billing and insurance coordination, as delays or discrepancies have been noted in refund processing. The front desk team’s responsiveness plays a key role in the overall experience, and some visitors appreciate their approachability. For those requiring long-term treatment, verifying lab policies and appointment follow-ups in advance may help align expectations with the practice’s workflow.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. Please avoid if possible. They seem far more interested in making money than caring for their patients. I visited due to heel pain, but the doctor spent most of the appointment talking about his daughters applying to private schools and paid little attention to my actual issue. On top of that, they kept trying to push various products on me. After the appointment, I called the office with follow-up questions. They repeatedly promised the doctor would call me back, but he never did—even after three attempts. They charged me upfront and assured me I would get a refund if my insurance covered it, but after seven months, I still hadn’t received anything. When I finally contacted them about the overpayment, they made it difficult to get a proper refund and even charged me for items I never purchased. I've never encountered such unprofessionalism in a medical office. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I wish I could give zero stars. I sincerely hope no one else has to endure this kind of ordeal.
Dr. Diep treated my plantar warts that I’ve had for I don’t even know how long. His bed side manner is one in a MILLION compared to a lot of the doctors I’ve been to in my lifetime and it’s a lot. He’s VERY thorough and makes sure his work is what you pay for. The gentleman up front who has checked me in and out since I’ve been it’s Nova Foot and Ankle has always been cool and chill he needs a raise!
I completely agree with the most recent review. I’ve experienced the exact same issue. I’ve called four times already and the front desk was unhelpful, evasive, and gave conflicting information about a refund I was owed. I was also told to wait for a refund from my insurance company, only to find out later that the office had already been paid and I still haven’t received a refund yet. This seems to be a pattern, not an isolated incident. Be cautious.
Horrible horrible terrible awful customer service I called about a refund that I have been waiting for months. The front desk person refused to give me his name, he said that Shila only works one day a week and to call them back on Tuesday. They told me that my insurance was going to send me a refund back, turns out that was a lie. They have been paid twice and were never going to send me the money back. I encourage you to never go here, all they want is to take your money. Horrible people I also called the Springfield office, they were the same. They said that now that they see that the insurance had paid them Months ago, and I had to have my insurance call them. Finally they will refund me even though they had been paid months ago. They had no intention of paying me back. Never again
Be aware they send their labs to a company that charges so much! Just to have one toenail clipped they wanted to charge me $400! I had to make a follow up appointment for the results when it could’ve been done by a simple phone call. They seem to only care about making money, I do not recommend them.
