Loudoun Imaging Center - Reston Radiology Consultants

This is the best imaging center I've been to! The techs are all female and are so friendly and wonderful! I was dreading my exams but they made sure I was as comfortable as can be and my exams weren't bad at all. The front office staff is actually very nice as well! I lost my dr's order form and the front office called my dr's office and even rescheduled my appt to later that day so my dr's order could be faxed to them and I was not charged any penalty for that. I would definitely recommend this practice to any ladies that needs their medical imaging done!

I have been to this office several times for a mammogram. I had the first appointment of the day and I was in and out within 20 min on my most recent visit on a Friday morning. The technician I had was Emily, she was awesome. Kind, gentle and friendly. Including photos of the mammogram machine and the pink you see if a blanket over my hand. This is to mimic where your breast would go and what it looks like when the machine is pressed down on the "breast" area. I highly recommend this office. If you can get the first appt of the day, the process is really fast. I don’t know anyone who likes getting a mammogram. It’s painful for me, but having the right staff makes all the difference in your experience. I had a great experience considering what I went there for. Thanks, Emily!

My experience with Loudoun Imaging Center was great. What drew me to this facility is I have an extremely high deductible and wanted to use a service that makes upfront cash payments easy. Loudoun Imaging Center accepts the company I chose. I double checked twice to be sure they worked with the service that uses One Call. Both times they said yes. I scheduled my appointment and was able to do the check in and the appointment both on line. This was a big plus because I have a variable schedule and I don’t like filling out paper forms. The day of the appointment when I arrived there was only one other person there. The receptionist checked me in quickly and I was called in less than 5 minutes. The test was quick and I also found out they participate with INOVA so I can get my results in My Chart which is another plus. The office I usually go to is 3 minutes away but being able to pay in cash with no future unexpected bills and being able to know my price upfront was well worth the 45 minute drive. This will be my new radiology center for test that are subjected to my deductible. Everyone here was very pleasant and made for a great experience.

Easy and organized check in process, friendly patient care, and clear communication of imaging results. We went in for our newborns hip ultrasound and they treated us with care and patience. We would recommend this practice to our friends and family!

I’m writing to bring a significant communication issue to management’s attention regarding my experience today. I made my appointment by phone and understood that I was speaking with someone associated with the Professional Plaza location. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that the Professional Plaza location was closing and that all appointments had been moved to the Lansdowne location, approximately 10 minutes away. Fortunately, I had arrived early enough that I was still able to get to Lansdowne and make my scheduled appointment. However, several patients who arrived after me experienced the same issue. Because they were unaware of the location change, they were told they would have to wait longer because they had missed check-in. Unfortunately, some patients were unable to receive their scheduled scans at all. I want to emphasize that the staff were friendly, professional, and clearly did their best to accommodate everyone under difficult circumstances. My concern is with the communication surrounding the location change, rather than with the staff themselves. I strongly recommend that the website, appointment scheduling process, and staff communications clearly and consistently state that testing is now being performed at the Lansdowne location and not the Ashburn/Professional Plaza location. Patients should be explicitly informed of this change when scheduling or confirming an appointment. This situation caused unnecessary frustration for patients and placed the staff in the difficult position of trying to resolve a problem they did not create. I hope management will address this promptly so other patients do not have the same experience.
