Arpan Dance Academy LLC

My daughter has been taking Kathak dance lessons at Arpan dance academy since she was a small girl and I have seen a constant growth in her dance skills and techniques. Ms. Bratati is an amazing teacher and seeing her dance on stage is a treat. I have confidence that my young daughter will become a fine dancer in the future with constant help and support from her teacher.

If you are considering dance classes for your child or yourself then Arpan is definitely a place you should go for. This is a very professionally managed dance school. My 9 year old daughter loves her instructors and the owner is very approachable and nice. I love the way I get updates after every class and have access to the class curriculum. Would definitely recommend Arpan for Kathak

My experience with Arpan dance school for my daughter is working very well. The teachers are so organized, kind, pay attention to detail and make sure the student is well prepared. They share weekly updates and videos so the parents are aware of the updates. The teachers give very detailed feedback on the students progress. Overall I recommend this dance school.

I started my Kathak dance journey under Guru Bratati 2 years back . It’s has been an enriching experience . I am grateful to her persistence in pushing me with her tough love to step out of my comfort zone and enjoy the dance . She is a great teacher and inspires her students to develop a passion and devotion for Kathak dance . I will continue to work hard and give my best and hope to one day be able to deliver the expressions in my dance like her and captivate the audience . Thanks for all your support and encouragement !!!❤️🙏

Arpan Dance Academy is a highly reputed Kathak dance school in Virginia and it is affiliated with highly reputed Pracheen Kala Kendra, an institution of Indian Classical arts in India. Our daughter has been learning Kathak, an Indian Classical story telling dance from Honerable Guru Dr. Bratati Saha who is the founder of Arpan Dance Academy. Dr. Saha teaches both theoretical aspects of Kathak as well as the "Nrita", "Nritya" and "Natya" parts of Kathak. She prepares her students for exams conducted by Pracheen Kala Kendra. In addition to this, our daughter gets several opportunities to perform at both national and international events and dance competition. We are proud to share that my daughter's group under Arpan Dance Academy, win the First prize at Bharat Sanskriti Utsab, an international dance and music competition held in Kolkata, India in the year 2023. We are very fortunate that our little girl is learning Kathak at Arpan Dance Academy from Honorable Guru Dr. Bratati Saha and as parents, we are very proud to see our daughter learn, grow and excel in Kathak dance.
