Visual Health Doctors of Optometry - Ashburn

Better work on customer service before you lose all your customers/patients. Couldn't even have a full on conversation with the British lady (manager?) I was calling with because she kept cutting off every sentence. Apparently, I offended her by saying something so I apologized but I don't think I ever got an apology for not being able to speak without getting cut off every time... and apparently my request to lower my prescription for my lenses during my initial appointment wasn't even taken into account because my eyes are so strained whenever I wear the glasses I bought, so I guess I just wasted money because I am never setting foot in that office again from how I was treated on the phone.

I just moved from MD and was looking for an optometrist. The customer service and individual time with the employees was a great experience. They helped me pick out glasses and Dr. K was very nice and patient. She showed me pictures of my eyes and explained the images. I will return for my annual exam next year!

I recently visited this doctor's office and had an amazing experience. Dr. Kondola has such a warm personality, she helped me choose between different pairs of contacts and addressed a vision problem I was having. NO MORE HEADACHES WOOHOO! The Office Manager Ms. Dwivedi was very sweet, she helped me pick out frames and lead me to a decision I love. She also walked me through my insurance policy and made sure I understood everything. The receptionist Peri was also very sweet and welcoming. She took the time to look over frames with me and I didn’t feel rushed to make a decision at all. Overall, I felt completely welcomed and comfortable throughout my entire visit. If your looking to get Contacts or Glasses this is 100% the place to go.

I had an amazing experience at this eye doctor's office! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I always leave with a smile on my face – often after sharing a good laugh with the team. It's clear that they genuinely care about their patients. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch eye care with a personal touch!

I would give 0 stars if I could, Dr. Luong is extremely professional and love him; however the check out staff and receptionist are abysmal at their Clarendon location. I come into just have a contact lens exam because when I had to use up a previous credit that they would not reimburse me for from the year prior and they tried to charge me a dilation eye exam even though I told them I had a standard dilation and eye exam with another provider and just needed a contact lens exam. When I finally showed my prescription from another provider they backed off, but when I was checking out they kept yammering on for 10 minutes trying to get me to buy new contacts the day of when I told them I didn’t need anymore because my prescription did not change so I had spares. When I finally got to the end with the billing they tried to charge me the contact lens exam and dilation exam even though I did not receive one and I had to ask for an itemized receipt to explain the charges and only pay for the contacts lens exam I received. Mateen checked me out please be aware of him trying to push you into buying you something you don’t need with making your decision in a non rushed environment. After finally paying off my bill for the contacts lens exam. I asked for a digital receipt over the phone where the receptionist, Brianna, told me I had to wait a whole business day for it to be sent even though she just rang me out. Then after I just thank you she replied with a "uh huh" then abruptly hung up. After this being the second terrible interaction with this business, first being the ashburn location, I recommend anyone to respectfully stay away and spend your hard earned money elsewhere at a non-toxic eye glass provider. The first visit was from ashburn where my insurance was apparently "blocked" but still has benefits so they charged me the full amount for an exam and said we can reconcile later. They never did and their British manager wouldn’t let me get a word in without yammering her head off at me. They ended up never giving me my refund back and I had to settle for credit that expired within a year. I used that credit towards my Clarendon visit. I believe all across their locations the staff tries to scam you.
